I would rather eat my own tongue then play this garbage Joel dies to a steroidid tranny Ellie kills every one in sight to get to her but then saves her life and lets her go i mean they make Ellie into the bad person and Abby that **** into the good person Ellie kills dogs and pregnant woman while Abby plays with dogs and spares a pregnant woman’s life I mean Neil **** is retarded he plays a character named manny and spits on Joel’s body I think he did this game for that **** Anita sarkeesian who has done nothing in the gaming community but judge everyone she criticized the mandalorian because not one female character said any thing in the first episode what a **** in summary Neil **** was high on every possible drug when he made this **** game naught dog is a failing company now that he has been promoted to co president don’t play thus game it gives you aids… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the best game I have ever played, everything about this game works perfectly, the story is heartbreaking, upsetting and really puts you inside of Ellie's mind and how she feels, the gameplay is basically the same as the first one, but better in just about every way, the new mechanics fit in perfectly, the graphics, the cinematography of the cutscenes areThe Last of Us Part II is the best game I have ever played, everything about this game works perfectly, the story is heartbreaking, upsetting and really puts you inside of Ellie's mind and how she feels, the gameplay is basically the same as the first one, but better in just about every way, the new mechanics fit in perfectly, the graphics, the cinematography of the cutscenes are marvelous. And the acting is one of the best I've ever seen in any game, props to Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson.
    The biggest problem that the most of people had (and that brought the review bombing to this page) was about the way it show us homosexuality. The game doesn't shove it in your face, they just took one of the elements that they showed us for the first time in Left Behind (The Last of Us DLC) and they decided to develop it a little bit more, by making this character having a couple that is a girl and is in the whole game.
    And the other problem that caused this review bombing was that this game's story is "politically correct" something that I will say that is completely false, because the majority of the things that you do during the story are on the opposite way.
    This game isn't for everyone, kids can't play it because of it's brutality, and the adults that should play it need to be open-minded and mature because of all the themes that these work of art show.
    This is Naughty Dog's best work to this date

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I'm very sad to write this review, but this was probably the biggest disappointment in my entire gaming life (beside Watch Dogs). I want to say something very clear: the animations and the settings are absolutely fantastic, it looks like a movie. I've never seen something like this and I really loved it. The huge and terrible problem is the story and don't get me wrong, it has nothing to do with LGBT or things like these (I'm a LGBT supporter). The first 10 hours are actually good, but then there is an awful twist of events that completely broke the atmosphere and took me out of the game: you literally start playing as someone else. Not only, but as the woman that killed Joel and was the biggest enemy in the first half. It's ridiculous. I couldn't empathize with her, I couldn't care less about her issues or her friends and I couldn't play without thinking "what the hell is this? When is it coming to an end?". If I have an experience like this while watching a movie or playing a game, it's over. At least for me, I couldn't force myself to enjoy it. It's terrible. The whole second half is basically a useless filler that has no purpose except forcing you to like a character and a situation. It's boring, it's repetitive (you get into trouble constantly just to get to 25 hours of longevity) and it's completely out of context. Then, when you get to the ending there is another slap in your face (that's also absolutely predicable actually. After killing dozens (including dogs and a pregnant woman), Ellie just chooses to spare Abby's life because "revenge is wrong". You read it right. The game is based on a revenge story, but Neil Druckmann pulls the Uno Reverse Card to feed you trivial rhetoric after 25 hours of waiting. I'm sorry but to me this is unacceptable. This game really has a fantastic gameplay and superb graphics and animations, but that's it. It's a shame.… Expand

    A tragedy, profound & meaningful story and extremely unpredictable, full of anger and hatred, revenge and forgiveness, sadness, stress and fear, hope and despair, love, tears and crying and, in one word, phenomenal. A masterpiece game with great gameplay & graphic & music.

    Great game! Loved the whole story and made sense every single action of it. anybody who says otherwise maybe are just a bunch of kinds that don't understand that as people grow up so do the characters or maybe they didn't maybe finish the game. The graphics are really amazing.

    This is easily one of the best games of the generation. Compelling story, best console graphics to date (next to God of War) and much needed gameplay tweeks and options. The story elements are subtle, and if you can get past them you will be treated to a game with tremendous depth. Is it perfect? Nope. No game is.     it is not recommended for someone who have play the last of us 1, if this is a story who build in another world, and the name of char has changed, the feeling would be better but it is no suitable for the story to stand in the TLOU WORLD

    I realy dont believe they would kill joel like this and made us play as his killer and be fine with it, and most importantly they want us to feel sorry for them too. I swear who ever wrote this story is a sick f*** thats for sure the gameplay is just the same as the first game only its slower.

    Визуал однообразный, серый Сиэтл с редким вкраплением других локаций. Унылый, безликий саундтрек. Провальный сюжет, местами не убедительный сценарий. Лучше бы, этой игры не было.    Разочарование поколения.

    Excellent visuals, gameplay is good, nothing changed much from part 1. False advertisement in trailers (games are not movies people, please). The most important part of the last of us, which is the story, is very poor this time. Empty characters, their decisions make no sense. Plot holes everywhere.

    The direction this game was taken in story wise was a big risk but and not what a lot of people were expecting but I wouldn't say it was badly written overall. The gameplay, graphics and sound are a big improvement from the first game which is to be expected but it really is one of the best looking and sounding games out there regardless of opinion on the games plot. The sense of brutality and emotion in the last of us 2 never really drops off from stealth kill to gun fight to cutscence it will have you questioning you're morals and emotions from beginning to end. All in all a solid game with a narrative that is very rarely seen from a video game or movie so I rate it highly for pushing the boundaries of narrative driven singleplayer games, graphics and audio.    … Expand

    The Last Of Us Part 2 is the best game i have ever played. I recently bought and played it after finishing the first one and i couldn't put the game down because i had to know what was going to happen. 2 days later i beat the game. Took about 30 hours and i didn't regret a second playing it. The storyline was really good especially connecting back with the first game and certain events.The Last Of Us Part 2 is the best game i have ever played.     Awesome story. It does not compare to the story of the first game, but achieves a compelling, emotional, and stressful sequel. Don’t let the bad reviewers blind you, it is the most compelling game I’ve played after the Witcher 3.

You all could have made the ending where Ellie and Dina would be back together again and that would make the game so much more positive feedback. But the overall story is pretty decent for the hours and design you guys make into the game. Just make sure to add better endings instead of making it disappointing. Neil **** hopefully will focus on making a good game rather than trying to be a social justice warrior in Naughty Dog's future endeavors. Aside from the pandering in the writing, the gameplay is copy and paste from the previous entry, however, the visuals were quite impressive, graphic artists should go an work for aLazy writing sadly killed what could have been an amazing franchise.     The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then...
