    Such great potential, wasted for a bad story. This game is disrespectful to the fans of TLOU and the franchise. They could have made an incredible game if they considered what the fans would enjoy but instead it seems that the writers just wanted to be edgy and political. I hope naughty dog doesn't make this mistake again or it will ruin them.

    I'm not a bolt I know it is difficult using Abby for half of the end , but it does complete the story ,For me , i enjoy the story and game play and in fact this is the first game im writing a review for because of the bias reviews thats been spreading

    I love some parts of the game.. but some characters and Half of the game was Terrible writen.. i hated the new characters and the story about them.. some scenes are so bad directed also.. The endding is so bad.. is not a terrible game but i understand why people hate it .. there are things that make people hate most of the game..

    It is sad that the game took this idea for the direction..

After finishing this game and having some time to think about it, I overall liked this game, but I’m very disappointed with the direction they went with. I hesitatingly read the leaks when they came out thinking it would save me 70 bucks but in the end I just had to play it to make my own opinion. Everything with Joel and Ellie was really really great, especially the opening of the game. Even though Joel’s death was horrific and some perceive it to be disrespectful, I’m back and forth on where I stand on that, it was a good motivation for Ellie and even though Joel was absent his presence was always felt. Tommy was really great here too. The side characters were ok, I liked Jesse and Dinah and lev. But the reason I’m giving the game a 6 is because of the Abby portion of the game. It was so goddamn boring, having to play through those 3 days again as a character that is very unlikable. I understand that the hame was trying to make you see her perspective but I just felt nothing. Those 10+ hours really dragged and by that point I was bored with the repetitive combat situations. But then after that part of the game when you get back to Ellie was really good. The ending scene with Joel was very emotional and the last scene was really sad. I kind of understand why Ellie let Abby go but at the same time I really wanted revenge and kill her. Overall, I enjoyed the Ellie parts of the game but I really didn’t like the Abby hours. Also the graphics and gameplay were amazing, even though combat got a little repetitive towards the end.… Expand

    A truly emotional game that is only getting hate because of the sexuality of character, remember large chunks of bad reviews were in the first couple hours of release.the game takes 15-25 hours to complete, clearly they didn’t play the game.

    Esse jogo é incrível, historia incrível,, gráficos perfeitos,,,jogabilidade perfeita,,,, goty 2020..... só tem duas formas de dar nota vermelha pra essa obra prima......1º caixista bravo pq não vai jogar TLOU2 e sim Bleeding Edge kkkkkkk e 2º machista..

    obs: .tb tem aquelas pessoas que deram nota vermelha sem ao menos ter zerado essa obra prima,, pra essa pessoas só lamento.

    This game is just, wahouuu I don't have words. I am not annoying, I am surprised but I love the story line, the landscape, all the audiovisuel's part is incredible ! Congratulations to the developers, etc because this game is like gold and diamond : exceptional! Please test the first part and if you like characters and the story, play to the last pf us part 2 !

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I have completed the game cover to cover and I can honestly say this is a masterpiece of the highest degree. I was lucky enough to dodge any spoilers before launch and every dark twist and turn throughout the story left me begging for more. The last of us part two keeps the core elements of the origional game and blows them to new extremes. Every morsel of this game is awe inspiring, from the story telling to the magnificent level design, there is little to nothing that I can complain about. My only criticism of the ENTIRE game is that the finale was deliberately left very open for potential sequels(which I would die for). Unlike the first title where the characters were in a place which just kept you guessing. Don't listen to the negative reviews which critique the fact that two of the main characters are lesbian. This aspect was already revealed in the first game and it is presented in a respectful and honestly amazing way which doesn't draw anything from the integrity of the story telling. I believe it really deepens the connection you feel towards these characters and it just creates more depth to them which is never a bad thing. Ellie is still the exact same character that you learn to know and love from the origional game, even more so infact. In the end, buy the game and play it for yourself. Have an open mind and watch the **** out stalkers. 10/10… Expand

    Ruined what the first game had going. Characters are dry and 2 dimensional. Joel died to early like they were just trying to get rid of him for plot convenience if you could call that a plot. I'm just gonna pretend ellie was sacrificed for the cure in the first game and that be the end of it.

    Excellent game, I loved the story and its ending, amazing characters. Beautiful world filled with violence and mesmerizing graphics, views and soundtrack. Gameplay is incredible. I highly recommend it. Ignore the haters

    imagine not even playing the game and giving the game bad reviews. The story is supposed to be different from the first game. If it was the same then what would be the point? I'm just as mad as the next person from what happened, but keep an open mind and you'll see why this game is fantastic.

    Incredibly story with some of the most dynamic characters I've ever played. I have never felt such raw emotion from a video game. All the snowflakes looking for a remake of the first game will be disappointed

    If you love the first one, you will like this - however it's a 1 and done and I won't replay it as the story has no replay ability.

    I loved the first one and was going into this unsure - the gameplay is fun, the graphics are good and the sound is good.

    The story is not good - I ended up skipping cut scenes as the story didn't make sense and chapter 6/7 dragged on far too much.

    Hard mode rewards exploration while not making stealth mandatory. Carry limits ensure you at least try every weapon or craftable piece of your arsenal. Combat is enjoyable with crafting and skills allowing you to play in your preferred way.

This sheds light on the painful story and the growth and the breaking of Ellie both mentally and physically to a point where you feel broken yourself. The game concludes with an incredible power to decide to finally stop that process of mental and physical warfare going on to finally let go and be free of everything Ellie has been holding onto. Ellie lost everything because of this and is completely broken but no longer has that burden that was weighing her down. Life isnt always perfect and it sure isnt a picnic in this zombie apocalypse mental amd physical story telling master piece.… Expand

    Sem dúvidas é um dos melhores jogos dessa geração, juntamente com o Red Dead Redemption 2. São dois jogos fantásticos que com certeza vai marcar gerações.

    No entiendo como puede alguien valorar negativamente este juego. Y menos aún en la narrativa, esta absolutamente bien creada y cerrada. en el apartado visual impecable y en lo jugable, también. todo un 10/10

    Everyone is giving this game so much crap for seemingly no logical reason at all, even if you don't agree with the way the story went it's an incredibly fantastic game non the less and it doesnt deserve nearly half the flak people give it, I loved the first game and this game is an amazing part 2

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
