    I was looking forward for the second part since the moment I played TloU 1 the first time. I absolutely loved that game! When I heared they are working on the second I was sure they will deliver a worthy sequel...boy was I wrong. What did they do in the planning phase? Did they discuss how they can mess up the game and the fan base as much as possible? The music is nice as well ut the story is absolutely horrible. Which was the stron part of the first game is the biggest weakness of the second part. Not just the story as it is is bad, but also the way it is presented is just bad. What comes on top of it that there are no loveable characters at all. Also one of the strong party of the first game. The second part only has boring, one dimensional depressed characters that you just dont care about at all.

    And the cherry on the cake is this massive "plot twist" where Naughty Dog forces you into playing the antagonist killed your most beloved character. ND wants you to care about the view of the antagonist but dude, thats not gonna work! She just killed "my dad" for F sake. I just want to kill her ad not play with her. It like they would have tried to make a loveale character out of Joffrey in Game of Thrones and put the focus on him after all the bad stuff he has done. It just wont work.

    I really dont know what Naughty Dog was thinking here. And also I really dont get the high rating from the magazines. 95% really??? I absolutely lost my trust in many magazines from this. For me the biggest dissapointent of 2020...and that says a lot!    … Expand

    Everything about this franchise is amazing and TLOU2 is a notch above the previous one. All thanks to Neil druckman and his team at naughty dog.

    Después de jugar y terminar el juego a comienzos del 2014, espere 6 años para que saliera la 2da parte, muy optimista que de parte de Naughty Dog harían una obra maestra como ya había pasado con la saga de Uncharted, pero después de ver el juego, su desarrollo, gráficos e historia seré lo mas breve y sincero posible con ustedes:

    El desarrollo y la historia, es bueno si lo que buscamos es una historia horrible y con agujeros en la trama.
    No vale $60 ni en sueños, preferible con ese dinero ayudar a alguien necesitado y la gratificación sera 100 veces mayor que al terminar este juego.
    Recomiendo este juego? Pues claro, solo para regalárselo a alguien que odies.

    I got a early copy and played the hell out of this game. Honestly this game is pretty great and I was a mega fan of the first game and played it over hundreds of times. Alot of people thing the first one is the masterpiece of story telling but it really isn't its just delivered well. The story is about the consequences of vengeance and how anger affects people. It's a fun game, really brutal and dark story, but it's really great. I think people just need to grow up. The story is fine its good. People saying you need to play as Abby as a child with like 10 hours of back story obviously never played the first last of us because they didn't do that with Joel and his story came across well with his actions. Also Abby isn't trans she's just buff relax.… Expand

    The game is great, technologically. Same gameplay as the first, that was already great, great art, graphics and sound design, very good world building.

    The story: horrible. Tragically bad writing, lots of plot holes, characters out of character, the story throws tons of guilt for the player to carry, and there is a suffocating feeling of futility by the end of the game.     I loved the way naughty dog broke all the stereotypical laws of storywritting and came up with something bold.The gameplay has been revamped and is now even better.Notable improvements to enemy AI and a powerful journey that holds you to your screens for hours on end

    They could have handled Joels death better. But that wasnt the point of the game. They wanted us to be shocked. That everyone could get back at you wenever you did something wrong.

    solid game, a lot of fun, most of these "reviews" however need to be deleted and future 'reviews' made by angry neck beard man-children over being forced to deal with the fact lgbt folks exist even in video games need to be banned from posting since they have shown that they are incapable of being mature and are just review bombing this game.

    Un juego que te va hacer pasar por todos los sentimientos muy duro y eso es lo bueno de este juego. Gráficos que te van a volar la cabeza, no hagan caso a la mala critica %100 recomendado.

    Yes. That game has a lesbians. BUT! No one trying to understand - it soundly by the first part and not interfering feelings from the second part. There's no LGBT only for LGBT. And I'm really sorry that so little and slightly thing can force people drop the rates of wonderful game. (((

Gameplay hasn`t changed from the first game. Did they expect us to play the same gameplay for 25 hours? it gets really boring. The story is terrible. the first 8 hours was interesting, but after that i just wanted it to finish soon. The story doesnt make sense at all. She went all this way to just let her go? WHAT?? it is a SHAME, cuz the first game is the masterpiece which everyone loves.… Expand

    Characters make this game, it always has. Joel’s grumpy, yet wise character contrasted really well with Ellie’s wide-eyed childlike wonder. Given that Joel perished in the first 30 minutes of playing, he is replaced by a plethora of new companions to Ellie, and new characters in alt-stories. Abby, Dina, Tommy, Jesse, etc. While they are all fun in their own way, they don’t have a good enough personality in contrast to Ellie, to carry a meaningful relationship to the player. They are all just bland, and derivative of many other characters in other games. Despite this major problem, The Last of Us Part II is fun, with a multitude of environments and a emphasis on exploration. But still a linear story to keep control of the player. It is also incredibly well designed. With all-new mechanics, collectibles and enemies to gawk at, just as I did. You may just be in for the story, or the collectibles, or even just trying this out. You will find this game offers many hours of fun for you all.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part 2 is a beautiful game with some decent game-play and lovely music and sound.

    On the other hand, we have the story and the characters, which have less personality than a golf club.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
