Poor poor storytelling which is what made this "franchise" popular in the place. The gameplay is monotonous and repetitive after a while. The boss battles are bland and overall as a gamer, I do not feel rewarded after completing the game.… Expand

    I feel sorry for every single person that worked so hard these past years to make this game look and sound as amazing as it does. All of their hard work, as well as the hard work writing the first part, is ruined by one of the worst written sequels I have ever played.

    You should truly feel ashamed for what you made of this series.

    I've played the game and I am deeply disappointed in the whole plot. The graphics and the game play are over the top but the story was too weak... I hate to admit that but it's true. The last of Us (1) was so beautiful deep and had a great (and not happy) ending.

    Damn, i just complete the game, and all what's i want to say- THATS BORING AS F#CK BRO. Really, shooting mechanics are really nice, but it was also in the first time. But story... MFG its such stupid and boring, that i will vetter read some advice books about how to make a most boring scenario. And the ending. That's real cr@p bro. Really, all what's i have said after game ended wasDamn, i just complete the game, and all what's i want to say- THATS BORING AS F#CK BRO. Worst game in terms of plot favorite couple Ellie and Joel died at the very beginning killing Joel even at the very beginning is a shame for Naughty Dog so set up the fans I have no words. This is the best game but the plot spoils everything. All for fans of part 1. The screenwriters killed the main and very charismatic character I will not get tired of repeating this shame. I put 1 out of 10 for the fact that the game at least came out.… Expand

    Gets a one 1 Star because the game is visually stunning. The gameplay is just okay. The story is what makes this game truly terrible. Such bad writing, it thinks it’s much smarter than it is.

    I'm shocked how a studio can make such a great first game and then create such abomination as second part. The ONLY good quality of this "thing" are the graphics .

    The story is bad, like... SUPERBAD ! I have no idea who thought "this is a good story" when they wrote it , but they should never , ever , write a story again ! The ending was disgusting , it made no sense whatsoever. Most    I'm shocked how a studio can make such a great first game and then create such abomination as second part.     Three hours into the game and I wonder, " Why do I keep on playing this game ?" The reality - nostalgia . So, to summ it all up :

    A) Bad story

    B) Unlikeable main character - Not because she is a female or gay , but because she was written poorly . Her choices make no sense and she feels " blank " .

    C ) Killing the only good written character , just so you can shuv another one in our faces. ( which was not even a good one... )

    I wanted this game to be good , I really did , but the reality is simple : 1/10 .
    1 Point for the graphic department since they were the only ones who actually did some work .    … Expand

    Only minor game-play improvements over it's predecessor. Story is irredeemably bad, constant pandering and SJW nonsense boiled the story down to an incomprehensible mess. Massive disservice to past characters to pander to SJWs.

    The game is disappointing, not only because of the story, the graphics are not as good as expected, I have seen games that came out years ago with better graphics than this one.
    The story of this second part, is simply horrible, they try to sell you political ideals, I do not recommend this game is a waste of money.

    Ultimately, this game will be remembered for the story it was attempting to deliver. On that facet alone, do not purchase this game and treat the first game as a stand alone masterpiece.    … Expand

Игра за антагониста расстроила, по геймплею ничего толком не изменилось. Мы должны были играть за Элли и брата Джоэля Томми. Концовка бессмысленная и вызывает недоумение и пустоту. Не типичное поведение Элли, подтянутый за уши флебек.Игра огорчила. Сюжет разочаровал. Сценаристы взяли персонажа Джоэля и поместили его в нетипичную для него среду и бездарно прописали его поведение. Игра за антагониста расстроила, по геймплею ничего толком не изменилось. Мы должны были играть за Элли и брата Джоэля Томми. Концовка бессмысленная и вызывает недоумение и пустоту. Не типичное поведение Элли, подтянутый за уши флебек.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I've got the platinum trophey so I think I'm qualified to write some comments. To be honest it’s okay that Joel died in the story, I believe most of the players have psychological preparation, but die like this?
    The awful story just ruined everything, I tried so hard to feel sorry for Abby’s miserable experience, but doing this only makes me feel sick, we spent so many hours with Joel and Ellie and we are so touched by their story, that’s why TLOU gained such a success, it made we players feel the same with the characters. But Abby? Come on,I really don’t give a s**t.(Her story was not that good btw)
    Naughty dog should at least give players options rather than just output their idea, I know that revenge may just end tragedy but I absolutely don’t want to spent money and time being told “oh you should do this, we need peace”. I only felt 200% angry, 150% sad and 100% insultant during the game and using Abby killed by Tommy and Ellie became the only satisfying moment.
    That’s it, 1 points for the great details and gameplay, -9 points for the story. I never thought a video game could make me feel so angry, well guess I’m too naive, sometimes too simple. Nicely done, naughty dog.    … Expand

The graphics and the gameplay are a given and are why I give this game a 1...But unfortunately they ruined the story with how they handled the killing of Joel and by forcing you to play as his killer "Abby" it wasn't earned at all and too convenient as to how Joel and her met...too many plot holes in this game And in a post apocalyptic world where is Abby getting her steroids/protein powder from? I know women who lift heavy 5-6 days a week who aren't that buff without using some sort of supplement. In a world like that most if not all supplements/steroids would've long expired a be non-effective... Her character is very unbelievable... Also, after all that Ellie went through to find Abby near the end she lets Abby live?? After getting her finger bitten off at that??? it makes no sense...Shame on Naughty Dog… Expand

    O jogo no inicio é muito bom, porem ele se perde, eu não sei o que os desenvolvedores tinham na mente... tem coisas aqui que nem quero falar por que se não o pessoal da lacração vai querer minha cabeça, não perca seu dinheiro amiguinho, se quiser jogar este game mais vale assistir alguma live pois você vai se arrepender.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
