    Great game i avoided spoilers been playing for days. Truly gets me on edge sometimes.

    Captivating world, honestly beautiful. Tho some parts are literally terrifying. This gives the game an amazing experience. The issue with the game i wont really say its not story based pr gameplay really but more cosmetic. And thats because of my personal taste for certain things

    If you like RR Martin kind of twist this will be SO satisfying. The atmosphere is dark and brutal, always keeping you on the edge. The story is well crafted and executed masterful although the end is a bit ehhhh...The gameplay is just brilliant built on the principle of "if it's not broke, don't fix it" with enough new things to refresh it.     No me gusta jugar con Abby eso lo dejo claro, por qué yo solo quería jugar con Ellie, pero la historia es increíble, es un juego de 10 en la mayoría de las partes,gráficos muy buenos, durabilidad perfecta, pero no me gusta que Ellie no acabe su misión, hay cosas como esa que son claves y no me gustan, lo peor del juego es jugar con Abby tanto tiempo me parece innecesario con haber mostradoNo me gusta jugar con Abby eso lo dejo claro, por qué yo solo quería jugar con Ellie, pero la historia es increíble, es un juego de 10 en la mayoría de las partes,gráficos muy buenos, durabilidad perfecta, pero no me gusta que Ellie no acabe su misión, hay cosas como esa que son claves y no me gustan, lo peor del juego es jugar con Abby tanto tiempo me parece innecesario con haber mostrado la parte de porque hace lo que hace suficiente, pero su parte tampoco esta mal del todo, lo único en lo que pensaba cuando estaba con ella era en Ellie y Joel. debería haber sido un 85% para Ellie y un 15% para Abby. pero sigue siendo espectacular, nunca había llorado con un juego y en este me a hecho llorar muchas veces y muchísimo, al final del juego sentí una angustia muy fuerte no podía parar de llorar. En general, sobretodo la historia (larga, triste y preciosa) es un buen trabajo, es un 10, para mi, por haber metido otra protagonista puede bajar pero la historia combina las partes tristes y felices a la perfección.Por cierto si hay tercera parte hay que ponerle dedos a Ellie que así no mola. y esto es por si lo ve alguien de metacritic.     I hope people read this. I don't know what else to do to separate myself from these non-reviews. Please play this game if you care at all about part one. The storytelling is unparalleled, and it makes the original game so much better. I've been trying to cope with the fake user reviews that were posted 0-10 hours after the game was released, but I can't do any more than to tell you to playI hope people read this.     I’m sorry but to anyone who actually bombed this games reviews, you’re absolutely wrong. The game is amazing, it’s not the same as the first, don’t get me wrong. But tlou2 is an amazing game with an amazing story and fun engaging gameplay and some seriously tense moments that are honestly some of the best moments in either game. If your issue lies in the fact that there are LGBTQ+I’m sorry but to anyone who actually bombed this games reviews, you’re absolutely wrong. The game is amazing, it’s not the same as the first, don’t get me wrong. But tlou2 is an amazing game with an amazing story and fun engaging gameplay and some seriously tense moments that are honestly some of the best moments in either game. If your issue lies in the fact that there are LGBTQ+ characters in the game or that all playable characters are female, then please go ahead and leave this games community, because the problem is not the game, it’s you. And if your issue lies in the fact that the game may not end in a way you want it to... stop for one second and ask yourself what you would actually do in that situation. Understand the characters and all they have done and stood for and then the choices they make in the end, and really ask, is there any better way it could have ended. No. 10/10… Expand

    I can see where some people have problems with it, but I honestly don’t consider them problems. The game has the intended effect of making you feel uncomfortable. I found the story quite compelling, and the gameplay and graphics were amazing.

    This game has an amazing narative with a beautiful setting and enjoyable combat. Still one of my favorite series. Review bombing something because you don't like the writing or course of the story is childish. Try the game and then decide.     The story isn't as good or original as the first, but the gameplay is way better. I paid full price for this at launch and don't regret it. Ran me about 28 hours for my first playthrough.

    TheLastofUsPartll is unequivocally the best game I’ve played in my entire life.

    How something so beautiful & nuanced can even exist gave me hope for every aspect of life. Y’all just moved the medium of gaming forward by 50 years

    I came into this game luckily not knowing any leaked story bits. I thoroughly enjoyed the original and the DLC，so Ellie being gay was known. That seems to be the reoccurring review negatives. To be honest, I don't care that she is gay. How the studio came about in reinforcing that fact seems like an attention grab that did work out in that aspect, but failed hard in it feeling natural.I came into this game luckily not knowing any leaked story bits. Stereotyping Ellie to be more butchy with tattoos, how she walks, and overall less likeable and rebellious. The best thing about her personality is that she still is as clueless to life and judgements as in first game. With that aside, the story, minus the one early shocker, is very bland and forgettable. No surprises, no shockers, no big reveal or twist. Literally the story you are introduced after the epilogue is it. 23 hours of slogging and surviving. I find it hard to read a lot of the reviews that said they couldn't wait to get to the next story but because it was that good. For me, I wanted more story and hoped that upcoming bit was good. Nope. Gameplay is much of the same as original, which is not bad, but the lack of introducing key new elements is sad. The survival is much more easy than the original, presenting no challenge at all on normal mode, with exception of the extremely glitchy zombies who would seem to damage you regardless of dodging. Side characters are lacking personality and depth. Overall, graphics don't seem mutch better than PS3 version, let alone the remaster. Facial expressions seem like twitchy, nervous molds. Overall, the game is bland, slow, lifeless, and honestly feels like someone made the shell of a game, and knowing it sucked, banked on Ellie's sexual orientation to save the day. Obviously critics in mainstream will all praise, not to anger anyone for speaking likely the true opinion.oh, and that huge twist people are talking about (not one at end of epilogue) is not a twist at all as it is assumed in the opening sequence.… Expand

    This game is visually stunning, no denying the talent of the artists.

    However, this game story wise is a complete swing and a miss.

    If you played TLOU part 1, which you should have by now, you will quickly realize this is more or less the exact same game. Its basically point a to b fetch quests. It brings zero innovation to the table and you have literally have done everything in this game in other games.

    What is absolutely terrible is the company lied to us and if you play as a certain character you are forced to kill dogs. There is another scene where the director of the game inserts himself in the game for a very lewd sex scene which is very disturbing.

    You really are not missing much and I recommend skipping this game.    … Expand

No se pone en duda la valentía de plasmar una historia diferente, atrevida y lejos del estereotipo, o de lo que el jugador pudiera esperar de antemano. Esa sorpresa es positiva y debe aplaudirse.     Worst game ever, just finished this piece of garbage and I can say this.......they should have never made the second game. They took all the things that made the first game fantastic and just threw it out the window, the story sucks ....bad....it s like some dude on Alzheimer's wrote it.

    Good game. It's better than the first Last of Us. It's even better than Kingdom Hearts 3. This game is long and has LOTS of details like Red Dead Redemption 2, Skyrim, and 2018's God of War combined. It's an awesome game.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
