    Absolute waste of time and money. The story and storytelling of this game is dreadful. I have no problem with the characters, but their motivations ultimately lead no where. All you're left with at the end of the game is a bitter taste in your mouth and time that you can never get back. This is honestly the MOST DISAPPOINTING video game I've EVER come across and that's saying slot. Can'tAbsolute waste of time and money. The story and storytelling of this game is dreadful.     This is my opinion as a console outlaw since I do not have any, but I have waited for a good sequel for this great game, one of the best games with the best narration, unfortunately from the moment I found out and investigated the leaks of the game, my desire to see, hear or try this game by myself or by any means possible disappeared and I do not see anything good in the story whenThis is my opinion as a console outlaw since I do not have any, but I have waited for a good sequel for this great game, one of the best games with the best narration, unfortunately from the moment I found out and investigated the leaks of the game, my desire to see, hear or try this game by myself or by any means possible disappeared and I do not see anything good in the story when compared to its predecessor, there is no improvement, but a failure, the characters do not react sensibly the way they used to, now Ellie is more hypocritical and there is no logical reason, Joel and Tommy die incredibly dishonorable, unfortunate and stupid (in my opinion) and only for the advancement of the story, not for him player feel and pleasure ...

    My disappointment is immense, I immersed myself impressively in the story since I discovered it in 2015, I am very glad that they have considered doing a sequel, only I feel that this was not the right way

    I do not want to support the game not only because of its divided history (divided because it divides the fandom between the part of the '' righteous '' who are the fans who think that this story is well done and there is nothing wrong; the other part would be the people who see the bad of the game and make their voices known on the subject)

    I don't want to support the game because of the actions of director Neil Druckmann and The Naughty Dog; blocking opinions on Twitter along the way for those who wanted and needed to know what the game was going to be (I understand that they did it for sales and avoid disenchanting their faithful fans, but if you are a company with '' so many trophies insured in your pocket '' As Joel's voice actor Troy Backer says, you could let your fans say what they want without expecting it to turn against you since this should be your '' masterpiece '' and show your confidence in him, not doing what you did and showing that the game would be that divisive) and giving the community their RIGHT to express themselves, not take it away, and not only on Twitter, on YouTube with Bloggers and Youtubers who gave their sincere opinion, which if they resulted in a true reality of the game (which is not the best nor is it as good as many fans of the series make it seem) it would result in a block, a deletion of your video and stop giving you publicity

    If you read my criticism and understood my points, I am grateful if you could understand it, but, I understand that you want not to contribute in my opinion, the view of the subject of each person is subjective and mine is clear and simple in something that I do not like and I put it bluntly, the sex scene, the antagonists, the direction of the story and the ending are disappointing for players like me who have waited over 5 years for this game that resulted in something unwanted from the sequel

Después de haber reservado el juego y haberlo terminado, siento que fue una gran falta de respeto al consumidor, tenía mucha ilusión con la entrega, llegue a ignorar muchos spoilers y había decidido no cancelar la reserva, no puedo creer que antes de todo esto, la prensa estuviera "desmintiendo" los spoilers, ya que he terminado el juego, no tengo ni una mas mínima intención de volver a jugar la campaña, sería revivir lo peor del juego, no tiene ninguna lógica el guion.
    No hubo ninguna evolución o desarrollo de los personajes, no se hizo honor al personaje y hubieron muertes innecesarias.
    Si usted puede jugarlo, compruebe que lo que le digo es verdad, termine el juego y califique, vera que tiene muchas inconsistencias.

    It’s biggest sin is proclaiming itself as the greatest game of all time and offering just another generic adventure type game. Disregarding the graphics, it is definitely mediocre in terms of storytelling, gameplay and character development. Not even close to being the “best of all times”.

It kills player favorite character right away, which is a powerful moment, but without any real pay-off later on. At first I was just dissapointed by really bad pacing of this game, but still waiting for awesome story to reveal in second part of this game. The awesome story never came and Joel really died for nothing. Main villain Abby just gives me no other emotion than "dumb" and "hypocritical". There is so much potential for awesome villain but nope we get Abby who is just annoying from the start. By visual and by her acts. And they fckin made me play as her character for hours in second part. I was bored the whole time. You spend hours searching for revenge and then pretty likable character Jesse dies because what? Jesse, Tommy and Ellie forgot the map with big huge mark for their enemies to find? Again dumb. I also didnt deeply care for relationship between Ellie and Dina. Naughty dog really missed the chemistry between these two. Ellie choices are joke in second part of the game and doesnt really match up with her character. There are not many huge dissapointments in gaming sequel history, so TLOU 2 is clearly a winner in this unflatering category. To be fair, some gameplay is ok and character mimics are amazin.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The story is not the last of us simply, Tlou 1 showed us hope and survival while this game was about murder and revenge. I get they have the right to take the game to another moral code but they cant expect the people to be okay with that and just accept it. There was no charactar development for the original characters beside a little dark side of ellie while the rest such as tommy just had no development while they had so much more focus one new characters like Owen and Lev for some unknown reason. Once we are in the climax where ellie meets abby again theye take you into another game where you play as abby and the tension breaks you basically have to play as abby and do things that doesnt really have anything to do with the main story that was presented in the first half of the game. Then you have Abby saying SHE IS OKAY WITH DYING FOR HUMANITY like sure ofc you can say that when you are not on death bed. Joel was not the bad guy in the first game he did nothing wrong they took away Ellie's choice and he wanted her to have one and couldnt just accept that she was gonna die without even saying good bye so he bursted out mad and killed everyone in his way, so ofc he couldnt tell ellie the truth in the car. BUT it wasnt his fault they didnt give him a chance to even talk to her before the surgery so the whole principle of the fact that joel did anything wrong doesnt really work. Then you have tommy as i mentioned before he got so little screen time while other chracters like Lev got more when tommy was a main piece in the puzzle because he is the one that makes ellie go after abby again and he was the one trying to stop her in the first place and then you think how would tommy change in personality so fast i understand he lost an eye but his character was always the calm one and he just turns upside down that was really frustrating to see. Lastlly why and again why did we spend half the game playing as another character if the story revolves around ellie and why did you make it so many skill trees with so much to do if you were gonna make us switch character like that it was not good for the gameplay expierience nore the story. Please dont attack me for hating the game but make me a good explaination for why its good beside of ¨the story is dark in a darktime omg the first dark story in history and they were brave to make it¨ that is the dumbest **** i ever heard.… Expand

I have played the game and I had to say, it is absolutely the worse sequel in the last of us franchise. It's like having a dog you always adore for years and suddenly you lost interest and gave it away to some random folk. That's almost the same feeling as watching Joel die by the hands of an unknown stranger thats not even related to the first story at all.

    I support LGBT and other gay rights but this is just a cringefest game. The way the emphasize how one of the characters is extremely forced and unncessary. The game is no longer a story but a fan-fiction made by a delusional 14 year old emo girl.    … Expand

    Im totally in Love with it. The movement is awesome, the grafics are incredible, the Sound, the characters, also the Storytelling is on top.
    Im a huge Fan from beginnig the Series and the second game is better than the First one. Tought hard Story, im heart broken, but the game is amazing.

    I played through the first one on launch day on the ps4 and loved it, this sequel give me those old feeling again of exploration and getting lost in this awesome world. Yes yes (spoiler) a loved character dies, I did tear up but it added to the story and the drive of ellie. The game takes place 4 years later soo we dont really know ellie anymore, alot has happened to her and I've enjoyedI played through the first one on launch day on the ps4 and loved it, this sequel give me those old feeling again of exploration and getting lost in this awesome world.     I think it's **** to try and paint how revenge can harm you as you go through it. But if that's the pallette you've chosen then this lesson has to go both **** ways. You can't just have Abby, someone who has gotten her revenge, get off free from the repercussions of what she's done. That just teaches me that those who grow a heart literally let the bad guy walk. Heck Ellie lost 2 fingers from abby, making her unable to play the guitar Joel left her. This story is such a punch to the face. No, it's more of a blow with a golf club to the head. My revenge lead me down a horrible path but hers still gave her a second chance? None of the way how joel even died made sense. How he was so willing to just be surrounded by all those random people. How tommy gave away the location of their town and offered them supplies. It was all pathetically written and disappointment doesn't begin to cover how I feel towards this game. Sure it looks amazing. But you're polishing a pile of **** No matter how much you try and make it look nice. At the end of the day. It's still a pile of crap you're forced to play with. Why am I giving this a 1 despite the other parts and aspects of the game? That's because I feel that if this game is given anything higher, Neil won't wake the **** up and realize it's not the lack of woke-ness that ruined the game. It's his dumb writing that did.… Expand

    This part 2 is a huge let down. Story is as horrible as other people mentioned. I would give it 1 star for gameplay but -1 star for not listening to disappointed people on social media. Think twice before you buy, they don't deserve your money.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.
