    Gameplay was ok. Story felt like someone was dropping a load over my face. Distateful.
    Made me lose any interest near the beginning, which is rare.

    This game is a masterpiece. I am a movie-enthusiast but no movie can make me care and feel like the last of us part II did. The nuance in the performances, the grounded reality in an unreal world.
    I just don't have the words to describe how f*cking amazing it is.

It is a game that is good in storytelling and great in making you question the empathy you have with a character and forces you to see the other side and that is what makes this great is the challenge to the human emotion and challenging our human nature to try and sympathize with the person who has seemed to be wrong in the actions of the beloved character.… Expand

    Personally, find it even better than the previous.. too bad people share misinformation. This is the best game ever. Contains every possible thing you seek in a fps and rpg. Masterpiece. Played the first part 5times, can’t get enough. And now this.. world’s top.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. You have got to be kidding. This game is a freaking masterpiece. There is not a criticism such as like "why the hell you guys killed joel." This is childhish as **** Joel is not a super hero, and he is not innocent as you think he is. There are no rights and wrongs, everybody does their own **** moves in their lifes. This is real conflict. This is real dramaturgy. Gameplay, grapchis, audio design, story and everything about this is freaking amazing and mindblowing. Neil and his team Naughty Dog brought something realy special thing that you guys may understand its value after a long time, maybe in ten or twenty years. Life is not perfect, and human being is not at all too. I'm not writing with too much attention but all i can say is again and again, this game is a freaking piece of art. It is pretty clear that "gamers" are not capable of understand a "story" and how to "read it." "Disrespectful to the Joel." What da **** that supposed to mean? Disrespect? Jesus ****ing christ, Joel tortured and killed lots of people through his life. He did these ****s too. Again, human being is not perfect. Nobody is a superhero. If TLOU Part 1 was about Abby and his journey, and at the end of the game some guy Joel came and killed her dad, you would beg for the Part II, at get the revenge of your dad as Abby. All aside, i don't think that Abby is a well written character as Joel and Ellie. As an "audience", i still love Joey and Ellie more than Abby. But this is what game want to tell you. Nobody is perfect. If Neil would just cut down the ****s about his sjw bull****s, (Which even they are is not stand out as people say, the elements like homosexuality, different ethnic origins etc. are nicely fed to the story, these elements are not unorganic and feels like a propaganda. Nevermind, not even a major point.) he would make lots of amazing games with his team. I don't think we need a Part III for The Last of Us since it completes itself with a very, but very good ending, i would like the see "the end of everything." I really wonder Ellie's end, not too much Abby's though but i would like to see hers too. Wonder what Ellie gonna do with is life, since it's compeletly broken and scattered.… Expand

    Очень трогательная игра. Всё логично... Это её единственная проблема - реализм. В настоящем мире - мы заложники наших чувств, как Джоел в первой части. И конец логичен, а не душевен. Но я люблю эту игру и этих персонажей (Элли и Джоел) и у меня не поднимется рука поставить ниже 10.

    A very touching game. Everything is logical ... This is her only problem - realism. In the real world, we are hostages of our feelings, like Joel in the first part. And the end is logical, not soulful. But I love this game and these characters (Ellie and Joel) and I can't get my hand below 10.

    This is the best game I've ever played. Just like the last of us. It completely gets in under your skin. Every bullet counts, and you think you have everything figured out, only to have everything turned against you. Loved it, loved it. But now my heart hurts...

This game made me feel a way that no game has ever done before. But be warned, this game is not a happy game nor a game for teens that think every story is about a hero and a villain.     What the hell did I just play? I was expecting a story that revolved around Ellie and Joel. Why did it make me play 11 hours with abby? What a disaster. Oh well, better get back to playing some COD, need to wash this sticky mess out of my hair.

The game itself is a 7/10, but I'll take it all away just because of the false advertising tricking fans into believing that Joel will have a major role in the game. And no, I'm not leaving a negative reviews just because Joel is killed. Many of us already saw it coming since pt. 1. It's the false advertising. Also, the story is meh. This games doesn't even have half the replay value as tlou1. Overall, this game is only good for a one-time playthrough. Now it's just collecting dust in my library.… Expand

    I wanted to like this game. I read all the negative reviews and heard all the bad PR. I stayed away for awhile until on sale. Now after playing I regret my decision to try it. This had great potential with the level of polish behind this but the story absolutely bombs it There is way too much emphasis on the romantic relationship btw ellie and her gf. The way they connected Joel and Abby's story was lazy writing and too convenient. I hated playing as Abby and found it broke any connection to the other main characters. They took a story about survival and making sense of how to start again and dumbed it down to a revenge story. A lot of pieces throughout are unncessary like all the drug references, the weed lair and the unneccesary sex scene which i skipped - they were gratuitous on all the wrong things. Terribly missed opportunity.… Expand

There are people who dislike this game for good and valid reasons, but there is 10 to 0.1 ratio of people who don't know why they dislike the game compared to those who do. It's kind of like how people hated The Legend of Zelda: the Windwaker beforeI never played the game. I'm just trying to get the user score up, because this game was unfairly hated.     This is the worst story game I've ever seen!! Many people buy this game is because of Part 1, but this game is definitely not friendly to Part 1 fans. This game's story is terrible in every way!!! But the gameplay is ok. Hope Naughty Dog can find their problem and improve it. And please don't put so many political right elements in 1 game. Thank you.

    Gameplay was decently fun. Story was hot steamy garbage. I will not be playing through this game again and usually I replay games over twice. The characters seem to be driven by whatever the plot needs at the time. Weak 2/10

    A technical marvel of a game polished to great lengths along with fluid animations which makes the gameplay engaging and an unhinged story, though not perfect, is still just as entertaining and emotional as it's predecessor.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
