Joel is dead and you go for the revenge and kill dozen of people and ultimately does not kill the main person (Abby) because now suddenly Ellie does not like the concept of revenge. Wow what a ending . Ruined a great game. They patch it up and atleast give us option to make choice..… Expand

    Обидно конечно! Огромное количество работы слито убогим сценарием и еще более ужасной повесткой. Дракманна в угол за такое непотребство!

    It's engaging in all of the wrong ways, I feel I'm being manipulated into liking a certain group of character, atleast make it not too obvious.
    Besides the plot(hole) driven stories and probably a fungus infection making everybody in this game not think properly, mediocre/10. the graphics lives up to naughty dog standard,

    Lets get the positives out of the way. The game is beautiful one of the best looking games you can get right now. With great animations, character models and stunning enviromental design. But that's pretty much all the postitives i can think.

    When I finished this game, I didn’t like it. I felt like they really went with a messy story on this one. That was until I sat back and let it marinate. The more and more I thought of it, the more I realized why Neil and company had made this game so polarizing. The same reason why Ellie couldn’t let go of her want for revenge, we couldn’t let go of the hurt we experienced when Joel died.When I finished this game, I didn’t like it. I felt like they really went with a messy story on this one. That was until I sat back and let it marinate. The more and more I thought of it, the more I realized why Neil and company had made this game so polarizing. The same reason why Ellie couldn’t let go of her want for revenge, we couldn’t let go of the hurt we experienced when Joel died. Sure we feel hatred for Abby, that was exactly the point. But if you are willing to unconditionally love the game for what it is and not what you wanted it to be, you can totally enjoy and understand a game. Troy Baker made this point about the game in an interview and it really opened my eyes on why this really is a masterpiece. Not everyone is willing to believe that, in fact I had some struggles with it too but it all depends on how long you want to let go of what could’ve been and not what is. At the end of the day, this game is what it is and I’m sure everyone who’s played it from start to finish would agree that when it shines, it **** shines. Once you go back to the first game and realize how different and yet how similar a game it is to it’s sequel, you notice that Naughty Dog was never planning to do anything like it again. Sequels need to do something new and the fact that it’s getting hate, means that it’s really doing it’s job, other than the fact that the leaks made some people stubborn. Ultimately, I now understand why critics say this is a masterpiece, even though the word has been overused. Take your time with it because it is the game of the year, no question, and it will be a polarizing release in Naughty Dog’s catalog for years to come. Don’t listen to those who tell you how you should feel about the game. **** them. Play it for yourself and feel about it what you will. Peace.… Expand

    Haven't gotten a single complaint about the graphical marvels Naughty Dog always has managed to put down.

    Story-wise, this game? Sorry... the graphics won't redeem Neill Druckmann's actions and decisions.

    while the original the last of us was a blast to play with a very engaging story, this long await sequel is a utter disappointment in most ways apart from the graphics. I’d advise buying the game when it goes on sale.

    Al ejecutarse da problemas de sobrecalentamiento en mi consola PlayStation 4 pro. Tiene muchos bugs y problemas con las texturas. El apartado gráfico es muy dispar dependiendo del lugar.

    Characters don't act like they should an they feel off.. The ending is stupid and contradicts the whole revenge plot and it leaves you feeling depressed and being liek wtf.
    The story is pure trash and it's pathetic. idk who though this story would be a good idea.

    Finished the game with 50+ hours, the basic gameplay is same as part1, i mostly play with stealth style, i wish there is more improvement on that like dragging bodies etc, however the level design have improved lot, much more open ended especially early level design, but i wish there is more path to arrive a destination instead of forced to go through certain way.     So what's the bottom line? Terrible plot submission, parasitic mechanics, a huge deception in advertising from the expectations and the resulting reality.

    Oh, yeah, well, the graphics are beautiful... No, it's worse than the trailers before.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
