    Worst sequel to the game I've ever seen! Just run the first part of the game on your console and forget that there is a sequel! Do not believe corrupt professional critics!

    Absolutely disgusting story line. Poor game play mechanics with small locations and with stupid corridors between them. It's really AAA title? Where is ambient occlusion? Hypocritical official reviewers which set score 10/10 and masterpiece. It's an apogee of falling gaming industry.

    This game's story is god awful the gameplay and graphics are the only reason I gave it a 4/10. The way Joel dies is by a golf club! He dies by someone we don't even know in the beginning then on top of that the ending of the game Ellie doesn't even kill Abby (the Joel killer) she lets her live and the whole game you play as both Abby and Ellie but while playing as Ellie for the ending youThis game's story is god awful the gameplay and graphics are the only reason I gave it a 4/10. In fact here would be a better story that I made up:

    instead of the group killing Joel, they should’ve done an eye for an eye and killed Tommy. That infuriates Joel and Ellie, but Joel goes off alone to go avenge his brother. Ellie goes after him. You get to play as both Joel and Ellie like the good ole days, then they reunite towards the end to find the killers. At the end, Joel is wounded but goes out like a champ killing off as many enemies as he can. In the finale, Ellie is the one to kill Abby, but Joel is hella wounded. He dies in Ellie’s arms. THAT would’ve been way more meaningful than whatever the hell this was.    … Expand

    Terrible story wrapped in a beautiful package. As a story driven game, my review will be based on the story. It can be broken down to a simple, cliche revenge story you will have seen 1000 times before. If you havent played the first, you will enjoy this a lot more.     It breaks my heart to write this, but I really did not expect such a poor story after all these years of waiting. While there were a few genuinely good moments, majority of game filled up with plot holes.

The series was about Joel and Ellie i don't care about Abby or her stupid backstory the game even forces you to sympathize with the character that killed Joel and you have to play with her for like half the game. And of course in the end you don't get to kill her so the whole killing spree to get to Abby is for nothing.… Expand

    Could have been so much better. The story is so simplistic, that it drags down the gameplay, the 0 ratings are just as exaggerated as the Critics reviews. But the game doesn't deserve more than a 5 score at MOST

Even if you like all that sjw crap than there still no chance that this game is above 7/10. The way Joel was killed was absolutely disrespectful to all people waiting for this **** all these years. There is even a character that looks like neil druckmann in this game and his first appearance in the game is literally spitting at joels corpse.     The direction Neil decided to go with this game is appalling. Garbage story and characters. Garbage woke pandering BS. BuT ThE GaMe LoOkS GoOd. Its expected to look good. its a 2020 game made by a triple A company. Not worth the price.

    Controversy aside, this game brings a weak story, weak gameplay, and just-OK visuals (in comparison to other AAA games over the past two years) to the table.
    Save your money, honestly. It's a disappointing game.

    This game is essentially a massive middle finger to the previous title and its done (very cleverly I might add) to make it mostly immune for criticism by shoehorning in a transgender character.     Listen up and listen well, Naughty Dog. Your sequel sucks. Nobody would have enjoyed FFX-2 if you had to kill Tidus as part of the plot. Get your heads out of your rectums and make a PROPER sequel to Last Of Us, or get out of town.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
