    It took me a. 37h to beat the game and its a lot for an adventure game. That's why my review took so long.
    GRAFICS: Its a masterpiece, I played it on my basic ps4 and I dint know my old box can do that thing. Environments are detailed, characters are well crafted and the animation is superb.
    GAMEPLAY: there no much difference to the 1 game, but it improves in all aspects. The remarkable    It took me a. 37h to beat the game and its a lot for an adventure game. That's why my review took so long.

    STORY: don't hate me, but I like it. I could predict the story in the 1st game so I wasn't surprised at the end, but in the 2nd it was a rollercoster. Yes, there were made, some drastic decision... but tool is not a story with happy endings... and no I was not paid to say it, I just enjoy games and I don't take my feelings to the real life (yup talking to the hate mob who threatens the creators... get a life a real one)    … Expand

    Like many people I didn't think The Last of Us needed a sequel. I am pleased to say however that The Last of Us 2 is a really special and unrivalled experience.

Да, можно ее ругать сколько угодно, но пройдя ее понимаешь - ничего подобного по уровню нет и близко. Технически, графически, с точки зрения дизайна это шедевр. Такие игры появляются раз в 5 лет и можно только сказать спасибо разработчикам. Снимаю невидимую шляпу и желаюИгру нужно пройти до конца, чтобы ставить оценку.     This game is nothing short of a masterpiece. It IS one of the greatest games of all time. The acting is award worthy. The grapics are almost too realistic.     Now, about those "leaks".
    Yeah, some of them were true. Yet..it doesnt affect the game. Sorry, not sorry. If you are that affected by "LGBT" or "a tranny with a golf club", youre just ignorant. YOU DONT LIKE THE STORY BECAUSE IT DIDNT GO YOUR WAY!
    That is all it is. This is a game set in the middle of the end of the world. What did you expect? Sunshine and rainbows?

    Game is again..a masterpiece.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. *if it weren’t for the average score of 3.9, I’d give this game an 8 but I’ve chosen to change that to a 10 to help boost the rating more.

    The Last of Us Part ii delivered a great gaming experience for me. Despite some very controversial plot points, I overall enjoyed playing this game. It took me a couple days to complete with a playtime of around 26 hours so I doubt a lot of the users giving this game negative reviews have even played through the game fully as they were only posted on the release day.

    Story: 6/10

    One of the weaker parts of this game. I questioned a lot of major plot decisions such as how the ending was left and killing off Joel. Joel’s death felt too rushed and insignificant for such an important character. It was sudden with not much buildup, and his death felt somewhat pathetic for such a strong character. It didn’t feel plausible, as I doubt Joel would usually trust strangers so easily. I felt this scene could’ve been handled a lot better.

    The decision to let Abby live at the end left me feeling rather unsatisfied. For Ellie to go through all the effort of hunting her down and killing lots of people on her journey for her to NOT kill the very person who murdered Joel came off as strange. The message of revenge not being the answer is good but.. just not in this case.

    My favourite aspects of the storytelling were by far the flashbacks with Joel and Ellie. These were handled very well and had me smiling all the way through. The bond between the two was shown perfectly. The pacing of the game was very nice (apart from Joel’s death feeling rushed) and left us with some beautiful moments like the first game did. A favourite of mine was Ellie playing the guitar to Dina.

    Gameplay: 9/10

    The gameplay was practically the exact same as the games predecessor, except with a few added mechanics. This isn’t really a complaint as I thoroughly enjoyed the first game’s gameplay.

    Loved the AI, as it felt like I was fighting against real people. Their walk cycles weren’t as predictable and the fact that they each had names and reacted to the deaths of their comrades and pet dogs was a nice touch. This almost had me feeling bad for them.

    Started off easy but started to incorporate harder battles about half way through.

    Graphics and Design: 9/10

    The graphics were stunning, as expected from Naughty Dog. Some scenes almost looked photorealistic. The lighting was especially great, setting a variety of moods for each scene.

    Areas felt somewhat linear, but this doesn’t bother me much as it’s a game focused on story over exploration. Each area was designed very well and I loved the small details inside the houses.

    Sound design and Music: 10/10

    The best part of the game. The music was beyond beautiful, capturing the feelings of each scene perfectly.

    Sound effects were also amazing and very immersive. Not much else to say here as it’s just perfect and I have no complaints.

    Characters: 7/10

    Contrary to popular opinion I love most of the characters. Ellie and Joel will always remain my favourites but Dina and Jesse were a nice addition to the game and I liked seeing them on scene and seeing them interact with Ellie.

    Only thing that brings down this score is Abby. She’s a god awful character who even though I’m supposed to have empathy for, all I feel is rage towards her. Having to play as her was unbearable as I hold so much hate for this character. She wasn’t likeable at all.

    Replayability: 7/10

    Gameplay was fun and I love playing as Ellie, but having to see Joel die again, playing as Abby and knowing how the game will end sort of ruins the experience a little. Give it time and perhaps I’ll play it again on a harder game mode. It’s worth playing again just for that one flashback at the dinosaur park to be honest.    … Expand

    This is one of naughty dogs best game ever created which says something since naughty dog has been developing really great masterpieces this decade and they've poured their entire heart and soul into this game and you can see the outcome with this beautifully crafted tale of revenge

    Una verdadera obra maestra tenemos aquí, cada aspecto de este juego derrocha calidad, algo que ya nos tenía acostumbrados ND, desde el gameplay super pulido y logrado hasta una historia inolvidable, emotiva y con giros inesperados, ampliamente recomendable, quisiera aportar muchos más detalles pero no quiero hacer más spoilers, de lo mejor que se ha visto en el año, felicitaciones

    Is a really good game and an excellent precuel of the first game. Its not as good as the first, but it a masterpiece, and because there are gay characters its not a reason for hating the game.

    This game attacks many aspects of society and that must have irritated many people, but there are no arguments that make me stop feeling what I felt until the last moment of the game ... thanks for making one more incredible journey that I will never forget.
    About the Gameplay its perfect and this is the most beautiful game that i ever played.

    The experience of playing... no watching TLOU2 is on par with being forced to **** your wife in the ass, but the catch is she decided to never wipe again. it's like being forced to watch a women **** a dog in a porno and then write a 10/10 review for it because if you didnt you'd starve. swallowing Lester's ball sweat is far more enjoyable than watching this    TLOU2... where do I even begin.

In fact, people feeling so strongly about this game just shows how amazing the story is in TLOU1 and TLOU2. You genuinely care about the characters and what happens to them. They are more than some 3D sprites inIMHO the main reason this game is getting hate is because the players didn't get the story they wanted. I get why people are upset about that but that doesn't make this a bad game. In fact, people feeling so strongly about this game just shows how amazing the story is in TLOU1 and TLOU2. You genuinely care about the characters and what happens to them. They are more than some 3D sprites in a video game, they are people you care about.

    Gameplay:
    Similar to the previous game but with a few additions. More of an evolution than a revolution. You get more weapons, the ability to go prone and more variability in encounters due to the environment. Also, certain enemies like dogs force you to change your tactics. However, it can be a litte repetitive. But mid-way through the game the gameplay changes up a fair bit. If you liked the first game’s gameplay, you will like this one too.
    Combat has significant weight to it; you aren’t just running and gunning like some unkillable soldier guy. The guns feel and sound the real thing. The shotgun kicks back like a mule and alerts everyone in the area. The bow is silent but need headshots if you want a kill and arrows are hard to come by. Every action in game requires a bit of planning and forethought and not just random shooting. On normal difficulty, stealth is pretty straightforward and easy; sometimes a little too easy.
    There are some other minor issues as well: too much micro exploring. Instead of taking in the beautiful vistas, you spend a lot of time looking at drawers and dark corners to find loot to craft items. Consider how essential these items are to combat, this is unavoidable. And this is probably the weakest part of an otherwise exceptionally good game.

    Art/Graphics:
    Everything in this game is incredibly detailed and feels so real. The lighting and scenery in some of the sequences like the subway are just top notch. Animation is likewise very detailed, and characters move life-like. Overall, one of the most beautiful games to date.

    Sound:
    The music and sounds are some of the best I have heard in a game. The sound design is excellent changes based on your environments: your footsteps are different when walking on concrete or sand. Rain sounds different if you are in back of truck or inside a building. The sounds enemies make when injured are intensely uncomfortable as they should be.
    Voice acting as with all naughty dog games is comparable to mainstream movies and sometimes better.

    Story: (This section has spoilers. They are marked)
    Games are quite unique among storytelling media in that it asks you to be an active participant and not simply go along for the ride. And Naughty Dogs is one of the best when it comes to storytelling using video games. The story of TLOU2 is probably the most divisive part of this game. Personally, l loved it. I am a huge fan of the first game and played it again just before playing this game. I feel that the story of part 2 does it justice and fits in the world of TLOU. It is very intense and sometimes outright unpleasant. I couldn’t stop thinking about it even when I stopped playing and I still can't. There are sequences in the game where you as a player do not want to do what the game asks you to do (and unlike something like the Witcher, you don't really have a choice). You have to accept the story that Naughty Dogs has decided to tell even when it is unpleasant. This has unfortunately led to a fair bit of backlash.
    *MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD*
    What happens to Joel was pretty much a guaranteed outcome even if the sheer brutality of the scene was a bit much. But it serves the narrative purpose of making us, the player ready to seek revenge. Also switching the perspective to Abby was likewise a great narrative choice and allows us to see the other side of the coin. Towards the end of the game, I just wanted Abby to live and would even go so far as to say that she had the moral high ground.

    But this subversion of expectation is not something everyone appreciates (see also The Last Jedi). This possibly explains most of the backlash the game is getting and the disparity in audience and critic reviews. But if you are willing to give it a go, it will take you through one of the most compelling storytelling experiences in any media.    … Expand

    the game is a masterpiece and anyone who says otherwise is just hating ... it's not the story we wanted but the story we didn't know we needed .
    the gameplay is much better than the first one and the graphics are the best .

    So for real, about the game, just 4 hours in and there's no doubt that this is the game of the generation, great story, best animation of any game from any platform, graphic is top notch if not the best to data, Really is a huge leap from TLOU1, best $60 I ever spend. a sincere 10/10

Не стоит зацикливаться на том, что в начале умирает один из главных героев прошлой части и просто самый душевный персонаж серии, не стоит идти и поливать грязью игру, после того, как играешь за Эбби, эта игра глубже, чем кажется, она заставляет менять своё мнение о персонажах и не раз, а если осмыслить концовку, то она может много о чём сказать, у меня есть претенция к сюжету в том, как легко Джоэл заманился в засаду, это, по-моему мнению, единственная недоработка и нелогичность в сюжете.
    До прохождения самолично игры ожидал ЛГБТ-дерьмо с терминаторами на спидах, но оказалось совсем иначе если попытаться понять игру, а не проходить с твёрдым мнением.
    Кстати из нетрадиционных ориентаций в игре только Элли и Дина, и то последняя и с мужиками не прочь покувыркаться.

    Про техническое и геймплейное исполнение игры и говорить не о чем 10/10
    Сюжет 9/10, если его понять и отпустить смерть Джоэла как это сделала Элли, но 0/10 для тупого быдла, которое ожидала копию 1 части с новым графонием и новыми местами.    … Expand

    From the moment I started playing, all the way to the end, I wanted to know what happened next, and by the end of it I was so sad. Usually I end up playing and completing games and then thinking about the next thing to move on to, but as the story wrapped up, I only wanted to know more, for the story to keep going. This game will be the most unforgettable for me this year.

    One of the Best games I've played in my life. There is a lot of emotion in everything, the enemies don't just die, their friends Cry when someone dies, a dog starts crying when his owner dies, the placement of the enemies, The stealth, the combat, the story, everything is deep and tense in this game, the world building is incredible.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
