    My first review but Last of us 2 is just phenomenal. Best story ever and a masterpiece. And Laura Bailey is just another level actor...and one last thing, maybe we stop looking for the light...

For the people giving bad grades cause they dont understand the story and the meaning behind it u should really play attention cause this is not a game where everyone is happy this game shows that every action you took in the first game with joel has consequences he kills so many people and this story shows that joel is not a hero and naughty dog showed that through abby's story, there are so many messages in the game like after the last fight with abby ellie is alone wich she mencioned was her biggest fear in the first game, tommy in the end represents those who couldnt understand abby's side and he lost an eye showing the blindness of those who only think of revenge and cant see that this is not a hero's story this is a "realistic" world where dog eats dog, and there is this cycle of hate that goes for to long and ends with ellie losing everything Dina,JJ, her friends and her fingers wich she used to play guitar the only thing that connected her to joel leaving her with nothing.

    Gameplay whise was a big upgrade from the first game the different craft style, the way the enemies showed the and freedom they give u to explore the areas.

    The graphics are perfect not much to say about that.

    67.000 negative reviews for a game of this quality is really stupid just because it wasnt a happy story with a happy ending because people dont understand what good writting is, it is just a great game excited to see what is next from nauthy dog    … Expand

    Brilliant game. Loved every second of it. very detailed and has a harrowing story. Great step above part 1. Will be remembered as one of the greatest games of all time and one of the best stories ever told through any medium.

    Absolutely fantastic gaming experience from a technical standpoint. So immersive and well thought out. I was constantly being impressed by the little details and interactions with the environment and the enemy AI.
    It feels really brave that the designers took this route in storytelling. I am happy that this is the case even thought it is an AAA release.

    I believe this game is trying to force people to impose other ideas, although it shows no innovations in terms of mechanics, graphics or music, it is constantly getting awards and I don't understand how it does it.

    Do not be fooled by the paid-off journalist "critics". This game is a disappointment in every sense of the word. The gameplay is generic without any innovation. The same old stealth and shooting mechanics that we've seen in countless other titles. The story is a mess that feels like it was written by an edgy teenager.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. first game is a masterpiece. this game is bad. the gameplay is only slightly changed but after this much time that amount of improvement feels like a step back. the biggest let down was all the lies. neil told us when the sequel was announced they wouldn't return unless the story was good and he said how important these 2 characters were to him and the team. both characters were ruined and unrecognizable to the characters we loved by the end of this game. ellie had family friends and a home, now she has nothing and is alone. and joel well joel is dead in the most bs way they could write full of a million coincidences to make it all fit together. neil also made sure to lie and tell fans with trailers joel will make it deep in the game and that he's a main character still just to find out it was faked. neils hubris was on full display as he thought he could lie to all the fans and still make the story good enough that we wouldnt hate it. you failed fans and the characters neil. his new fav character abby is maybe the most dislikable person ever written in anything. she does and says more disturbing things than joel but she does it for revenge and hatred unlike joel who did it for love and survival and yet were supposed to accept her by the end even though she's worse than joel and killed him after a long drawn out torture we have to watch. sound design is a mixed bag. glass breaking and other objects sound great but most guns and the atmosphere noise is sub par and often just silent like nothing in the world makes a noise without ellie. don't make me kill dogs with no choice then try and make me feel bad. no one wants to kill dogs. you can tell they wrote the end first and that they couldn't come up with a good story to get you there. the the end game is so disconnected from the gameplay leading up to it its insane. abby gets ellies forgiveness and remorse after ellie just killed 100s of enemies she didn't even know, but abby who she hates for a reason can live, abby who has given her ptsd is now forgiven. joel is a murky character but he's clearly the good out of many evils in the world. abby is not murky she's just a bad person who only cares for herself and she works for the evils in the world willingly. lev/yara is the only likeable part of her story but its entirely them, abby stinks. hope the show retcons abby so joel and tommy just watch her get eaten instead and go home and have great lives. this game not improving on the sales of the first show how much a mess this game is. 10 million plus people loved the first and yet you managed to deliver a product that even in an improved gaming market with more ps4 than ever they could not even expand sales a little. tlou part 3 is going to flop hard when ever they inevitably force the next turd out as part of the shows story needing to continue rather than an actual idea for good story telling.… Expand

    Also, as proof of what I said, women who grew up under the pressure of men in a way that they could not display natural behavior behave masculine, popular culture and adolescents think that all women dress and act like women. There is really no difference in the game made for people, they understand that this game is really no different from what they see in life, human relations, etc. situations because the psychology of upbringing changes people, the environmental factor makes women this way, this environmental factor is the last point in the game, I have observed in my own life, grown up under pressure. women act like men, if anyone experiences and observes this, they will make a positive criticism anyway. In his opinion, an intelligent person who has created a game completely reflecting his thoughts will immediately notice this situation.     this is the best game in the world, everything is at the highest level, graphics, plot, characters, I love this universe, I'm really looking forward to part 3 of the game

    The game on a mechanical level is excellent, very detailed and realistic. It is a pity that the story is so bad, incongruous and with thousands of scripts, in addition to a lousy and unsatisfactory ending. Bruce Strailey should have directed this second part.

Joel, just like Luke, gets completely s**t on just to "subvert expectations", a slap in the face of all fans of TLOU part 1. Most of the new characters are uninteresting and by halfway through the gameplay gets really repetitive. Which leaves us with the story, a pointless revenge story without the big payoff. I don't know what they were thinking when they wrote this, but they clearly missed the mark, at least with fans of the original. A low score is given for ruining and killing off one of the most beloved and interesting characters without even giving him a proper ending or purpose. What a shame naughty dog, went from top studio to irrelevant all thanks to Neil druckman AKA the new Rian Johnson.… Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
