    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. for those who didn't like it, it was because they didn't know how to deal with the events of the game. in a fantastic way this game puts us on both sides of the coin and forces us in some moments to control who you think you hate the most, little by little you discover that you can see what happened through different visions and understand the message of the game. at a time when the world lives by hate speech, it is very interesting that a video game puts us to discuss this situation. excellent in everything, in the graphics, in the history, in the music, in the development of the characters ... perhaps the best game I have ever played!… Expand

    Great game, which does NOT deserves this much hate!
    I personaly enjoyed playing it more than the first part and even had wet eyes at the end, which says it all

    I think people should stop crying about the story, it's an incredible roller coaster of emotions and twists. Yeah your beloved character is gone but that doesn't mean it is a bad game, it's just someone's else vision, if you don't like it make your own.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game is stunning in every way, graphics, stealth, gameplay and story of course. ND took a risk, by killing a main character, but boy did it pay off. Although there may have been slight pacing issues, the story being told was excellent. Being able to see the other side of Ellie’s story: ie Abby was imo great. Just a final heads up: the user reviews were reviewed bombed by people to childish to accept Joel’s death or the fact that not all the characters are straight white males. This game is worth 10/10.     The game is super dark and uncomfortable, because that's what we as humans should feel when faced with this pointless violence. I think it's an incredible way to tell a story and even though I have cried and yelled, I loved this game.

    Graphics are superb. The best in any console nowadays. Same about gameplay. The variety of combined methods of attacking and approaching to the enemies are the best you will see on any game right now. The quantity and quality of the animations are by far, the best you can find in any other game. The story is perfectly driven,    A complete masterpiece, no matter what trolls say.

    The story is perfectly driven, regardless if you like it or dislike it or don't like how it ends and is also by far, the most immersive of any actual game.

    But in the case you're not ok with the story, you must be a complete troll or hater to give this game a score below 7, because there's no possible discussion this game is absolutely astonishing in all the other areas.

    So just applying common sense, if you have a game with a 10 in 3 of 4 areas, even if the story for you score zero, the average will be 7,5.

    Having say that, people given this game scores from zeros to fours are complete nonsense.    … Expand

    O nombren algún juego de la presente generación que logre hacer lo que hace the last of us, ah pero no fuera algún fifa que es igual todos los años porque a ese le ponen calificaciones altas

    A to me misunderstood game, I think the main point people fall on is not seeing the bigger picture while also understanding why characters did what they did. If you as a player is able to go deeper and want a game that is gruesome at times but also shows regret and forgiveness against anything, I think you would enjoy this.     This game was simply underestimated, but I agree that Abby is really a boring character, and we play too much for her, but still I have never been so influenced by the game, I was even sad about the ending for about a week

Ellie, the first main protagonist, seeks revenge on the second main protagonist, Abby, who had already gotten her revenge and is looking for her own purpose afterwards.

    Many people have dubbed this game as "poor writing", "pandering to an audience", and other negative remarks towards the story, but that really couldn't be further from the truth. The story challenges the viewer's perspective on good and evil, and has the player witness the chaos that follows an evil act unfold.

    Gameplay is significantly improved upon the first entry in the series by adding dodging, jumping, MUCH smarter AI, firefights that include both infected and humans, stealth gameplay that rivals Metal Gear, and much more. Beautiful sprawling environments don't feel nearly as linear as they have in previous ND titles, and every detail, from the lighting coming through a broken window, to the wind blowing through foliage on a grassy path, feel as close to lifelike as they ever have been.

    This is the defining experience of the Playstation 4, and a beautiful swan song to the 8th generation of consoles.    … Expand

    Uno de los mejores juegos que he jugado, el primero es genial pero este trasciende, te da una cachetada y poco a poco se va metiendo en tu mente hace una semana lo terminé y es sin duda el mejor juego de ps4, espero el multiplayer y la parte 3 para Ps5

    There seems to be a lot of hate for this game. I wrote a long review but realised a) noone would read it and b) people will make up there own minds. Like all great stories, this one is divisive. People will love it, people will hate it - just hope you're in the first camp with me.

    Brillante, emocionante, duro, realista, cruel... una absoluta maravilla. Me ha gustado de principio a fin, es un juego que te hace pensar, que te hace debatirte, que te hace conocer al ser humano y darte cuenta de que éste es ilógico.

The way TLoU goes on with story is slow and perfect, suddenly you find yourself in a emotional condition in which you can't choose between right and wrong. Maybe there is no right in this world. I haven't seen anything this powerful to show how vain vengeance is. The gameplay is outstanding for sure,it's variety it's positions and it's atmosphere, everything. The only problem I have is how cruel the writers are… Expand

    Es el epítome de humanización en un videojuego, se muestran, mezclan y realzan emociones de manera tan real entre los personajes que sólo consiguen pocas y buenas películas, toda la trama de venganza no se queda en una mera lucha del heroe para hacer pagar a sus enemigos por sus ofrentas sino que es un camino que lleva al jugador de manera humana por el vertiginoso abismo que significa laEs el epítome de humanización en un videojuego, se muestran, mezclan y realzan emociones de manera tan real entre los personajes que sólo consiguen pocas y buenas películas, toda la trama de venganza no se queda en una mera lucha del heroe para hacer pagar a sus enemigos por sus ofrentas sino que es un camino que lleva al jugador de manera humana por el vertiginoso abismo que significa la venganza y todos los costos que ella conlleva, te pone en la piel de ambas caras de una misma moneda y te enseña el ciclo autodestructivo de la misma. El nivel de detalle en su narrativa es inigualable por otros videojuegos, y esto es solo en su historia.

    Graficamente exprime al playstation 4 para regalarnos los mejores gráficos de la generación mención especial a modelado y animación. Desde un amante de los videojuegos y de las buenas peliculas, les deseo un disfrute absoluto de esta obra maestra.    … Expand

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
