    As inevitable as it is, creating expectations and feelings toward things that we like and anticipate will (mostly) always be a part of the experience. With The Last Of Us Part II was no different, not for me or anyone else. For me, as i heard someone else saying on Youtube, it was not only an experience, but also a lifechanging event. As a fan of the franchise, I'm destroyed by theAs inevitable as it is, creating expectations and feelings toward things that we like and anticipate will (mostly) always be a part of the experience. With The Last Of Us Part II was no different, not for me or anyone else. For me, as i heard someone else saying on Youtube, it was not only an experience, but also a lifechanging event. As a fan of the franchise, I'm destroyed by the gruesome, hard, heartbreaking, true to itself storytelling. Every single chapter of the game was a necessary and pleaseable (in some weird way sometimes, got be honest). The mechanics, the script, the delivery of every single line was on point, and when I say on point I mean pure perfect understanding the possibilities and the story beeing told . Saying that, makes me completely saddened to see the mostly irrational backlash that the game and the creators are receiving, I believe a lot of that comes from a place of prejudice (like homophobia), and because of that I am truly grateful for the creators for beeing bold enough to do a realistic and inclusive and necessary game. As a female gamer, makes me enormously satisfied to see true representations of female characters and bodies, to see true wlw relationships beeing portrayed. So, for all of that and a lot that is not being told here, thank you. I wish I could express everything that I felt while playing it: the pain, the laugh, the tears, the fear, the love and another countless feelings that made me realised that this franchised has become one of my favorites of all time and this game occupying a special place in my heart.

    A total masterpiece. I laughed, gasped, screamed and cried. Fantastic layered story that will repeatedly leave you shocked and guessing until the end (provided you haven’t had the game ruined for you by people trying to spoil it for others). Could not recommend this game more. Went into new game+ as soon as I finished it and the story has stuck in my mind ever since completion.

    I was really looking foward for this game and I wasn't dissapointed. I really loved the game, I could even dare to say that I like it more than the first one. I got attached to the characters in a way that rarely happens when playing video games. The hate, the pain and the love that both Ellie and Abby felt, I felt them too, making me more and more excited about the game as it went by.I was really looking foward for this game and I wasn't dissapointed.     It's unfortunate to read so many reviews with a rating below 5 where it appears the objective of the narrative and story crafted by the writers is lost on the reviewer. This story wants you to hate Abby. You are meant to feel the way you feel when you play as her. The entire experience playing as Ellie and then Abby is meant to teach you that revenge and payback are, at the end of the day,It's unfortunate to read so many reviews with a rating below 5 where it appears the objective of the narrative and story crafted by the writers is lost on the reviewer. This story wants you to hate Abby. You are meant to feel the way you feel when you play as her. The entire experience playing as Ellie and then Abby is meant to teach you that revenge and payback are, at the end of the day, not going to solve anything. If this sequel was just a simple revenge story of Ellie killing someone who took something from her, the reviews would be on average a lot higher, but the story would be a lot shallower. I would encourage anyone who has had a negative experience to come back to this game after they've had a break and replay the story, this time without the weight of expectation. Understanding the point of the game is the key to enjoying it (much like any movie that requires a 2nd viewing to fully 'get it)'. My only criticism of the game is that the sequel fails to bring much in the way of new gameplay mechanics eg. still using bottles and bricks for sound diversion, moving dumpsters etc. I think as a new character(s) it would have been welcomed to have some new skills.… Expand

    Cuando sacas un juego maduro, pero los jugadores son pendejos e imbeciles no tienen cerebro para ver los distintos matices de la trama y sus personajes un poco más complejos y con más humanidad, vayan a jugar con un max steel mejor xd, le pondría un 9 no más, por algunas inconsistencias al final, pero mejor un 10 para equiparar xd

    It’s big, bold, risky, and important. You’ll love it and hate it, and that’s the point. Last class storytelling, insane visuals, and smooth gameplay. It’s an experience you won’t forget. The Last of Us Part 2 toma decisões corajosas em sua narrativa (se certas ou não o tempo dirá) e apresenta uma trama dura e violenta, como o mundo pós-apocalíptico é. Em termos narrativos não consegue nos conquistar como o primeiro game, mas ainda assim a trama é muito boa, apesar de difícil de digerir.

    Em termos gráficos é, talvez, o exclusivo mais    Instigante, polêmico e visceral.     игра не для малолетних мамкиных сычей, все в игре отлично, персонажи раскрыты, сюжет прекрасен, концовка тяжелейшая. я не понимаю "рыданий" по Джоэлу и Элли... рассказана история с другой стороны, как может не нравится возможность увидеть ситуацию по другому? И еще, мне пофиг на лгбт в принципе, но тут куча народу хейтит эту тему, так вот, в игре упора на это нет, если, конечно, ты неигра не для малолетних мамкиных сычей, все в игре отлично, персонажи раскрыты, сюжет прекрасен, концовка тяжелейшая. я не понимаю "рыданий" по Джоэлу и Элли... рассказана история с другой стороны, как может не нравится возможность увидеть ситуацию по другому?     This game is definitely not for everyone. I started this game pissed because of l the leaks, but it was like Neil always said. You have to play it and then get a conclusion after all. Not gonna spoiler anything, just point that I never felt anything like that playing a video game. Felt like a roller coaster full of emotions. Не понимаю эти тупые негативные отзывы, это постоянное нытьё : «онию убюлии Джойла, эта мускулистая, лисбияньки, разработчики не любят азиааатов, хреновый сюжет и т.п.» детский сад! Я переживал за всех героев, все было сделано гениально. Сюжет не пресный, выдержан достойно, диалоги может где-то затянуты, но терпимо. Игра показывает, как может случается по настоящему в нашей жизни, когда ничего изменить уже нельзя. Посыл к мыслям человека хорош и предельно понятен. Сам процесс игры и взаимодействие выстроены просто изумительно. Однозначно - это шедевр! Мне очень жаль, что комьюнити реально деградировало всякими ассасинами, колдой, батлой и т.п. , и ждали от этой части солнышка и печенек. Жаль людей которые так и не захотели посмотреть в лицо предложенного Дракманом сюжет, так же как и главные герои игры совершив ошибки , идя на поводу у своих страстей.… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I would give it the game a 9,5/10; but I can't so it's a 10/10. This 0,5 that I missed is a 0,5 that reflects a whole game that doesn't exist, but it should. TLOU II is actually an excellent TLOU III.

    But nonetheless I have no words to describe TLOU II, it's a masterpiece, graphics, gameplay, story, everything is so far from the games we have, only GoW comes close to what TLOU II is, we are on the limit of this generation, we'll maybe find a better game only in the next gen, maybe. This game made me feel nausea from Joel's death until the end, the only thing I felt after I finished was pure joy and relief. It's sad people aren't ready for games like this, this is an experience, not only a game, probably they weren't frustrated when they were children, saying it's just "SJW" game or pure ideology means you know nothing about anything, neither ideology nor society, everything is political, LGBT+ people exist, and they can be protagonists, they don't fit only in the stereotype. Double check your prejudice and your pride, learn about 21st Century society.    … Expand

    Another Masterpiece! The game has an absurd intensity, the graphics are fantastic, the gameplay has been totally improved and immersive, perfect soundtrack and a cruel, intense and complex story that brings us different emotions. Please, give us a part 3 ND!

Fair warning, I wanted to hate this game, I didn't think it should have existed as the end of the first was perfect and poignant, however after experiencing this game without being spoiled, without knowing what would come next, I feel this game justified its existence, added to the weight of the ending of the first but showing that Joel's decision affected more than just him and Ellie. The game is a rollercoaster of emotions, that sets the player off on a path of hatred, this continued for me until about an hour into Abbys part. The craftsmanship of the writers allowed me to understand Abby through this section, though I still hated her for what she did to Joel. I i think the ending also made sense as if I was EllieIi I would want closure and for the nightmares yo stop, I think seeing Abby in the state she was in though gave the feeling that she suffered enough for what she did and killing her would not have solved Ellies issues but being able to finally move on with closure did help her move past Abby. Not only did this game live up to the first, I feel it surpassed it as well.… Expand

    This is the best game since the original and perhaps even better. The gameplay is obviously top notch. Story wise--this explores the themes of the original but in a more nuanced and heartbreaking way, giving it more depth.

    História madura,que obviamente muitos da comunidade gamer ainda não está preparada,pra muitos ainda é incompreendido...grandes chances de que há alguns anos receba a reconhecimento de grande parte dos gamers no quesito história,só vi algo assim nos filmes,games é nova essaabordagem

    I adore this game inspire of it's plot. It twisted up my insides. I've never thought that one video game with 30 hours gameplay can do it. There are sone bad plot twists that I hate, but whole game is mind-blowing and awesome.

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
