This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is the best looking game on PS4 right now no other game has better graphic than it. The amount of detail that went into the game is crazy you walk pass a tree with snow on it and the snow falls off the footprint in the snow or when you kill someone in water the way the blood will spread in the water looks so beautiful and realistic. I love the story of this game I think Joel got the story he deserved in this game. I think killing Joel off was the right thing to do as his story of redemption is done if they kept Joel alive and did what they did in the first game they would be milking the cow dry. I think the way Abby killed Joel was the perfect way for the story she killed him in such a brutal way that it make us as the player so angry that we want to go and kill Abby in the slowest way possible. Walking through Joel's house was one of the saddest parts of the game as we saw that Joel had a life he had hobbies. Then when we set of to Seattle to hunt down Abby and her friends we are so to kill her and her friends for what they did to joel. I like how on the way we find people who were in Jackson when Joel got killed been beaten to death by Tommy. Then as we get further on on the game and we start to kill WLF soldiers and we hear their friends crying out there names it then starts to take and emotional effect on us as we then realize all these people we are killing have a life have a family and hobbies just like joel. I love the flashback parts of the game with Ellie and Joel they were the best bits of the whole game. Then when we get to the second half of the game and we have to play as Abby I was like why God why I don't want to play as Abby but I picked up the controller and carried on playing as I started to play with Abby more and more I really started to like her and her friends and got really close to them and when we find them dead because Ellie killed them I would feel really upset about. Then when we find out that the head surgeon who Joel killed in the first game was Abby dad when then feel really bad for Abby and realize why she killed Joel in such a brutal way. I love the story of Abby and Lev on how Abby fells like now it her job to protect Lev and teach him how to stay safe in this world. Then when we got to the farm house after Abby killed Jesse and nearly killed Tommy, Dina and Ellie we then see Ellie and Dina are living in a farm house together with Dina and Jesse baby who they called JJ like most people I thought it was going to end here and Ellie and Dina would live happily ever after but then Elle goes into to shed to heard sheep up and one lamb knock over a spade and Ellie and flashback of Joel death so we learn that Joel's death is still consuming Ellie. When we saw Tommy came and visited Ellie and Dina and told Ellie about Abbie's where abouts and Dina say she not doing that anymore then later that night Ellie get ready to set off to find Abby and Dina say if she leave Dina won't be back waiting for her. I felt really sad learning that revenge has totally overthinking Ellie life. Then when we cut back to Abby and Lev and they make contact with fireflies and then they get kidnapped by rattlers and I started to worry about Thier safety then when Ellie find Abby and Lev and cut them down and we see Abby and lost her normal muscular physique and she now skinny and weak we really start to feel bad for her. Then when Ellie demand Abby that they fight to the death and put her knife to Lev throat we are like Ellie no let them go and then when Abby and Ellie start fighting even though Abby didn't want to and then when Ellie was drowning Abby and Abby bit Ellie fingers off and the as Ellie was drowning Abby and got a flashback to Joel and let Abby up to breathe and let Abby live was so happy that Ellie realize that revenge doesn't do any good all that would happen is someone would hunt Ellie to kill her for killing abby. Then when Ellie got back to the farm house and couldn't play her guitar and had a flashback to her and Joel last conservation and we learn that Ellie was going to try and forgive Joel it made me feel really sad for Ellie and we learn that Ellie biggest fear has now become true her alone now and off to Jackson to try and fix her relationship with Dina. One of the best ending to any video game in my opinion Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Absolutely a masterpiece! This game has brought so many emotions and the flashbacks really add to the story. Yes, I can see why some people are upset but there's no reason to give it a 0/10. SPOILERS BELOW! The game is gorgeous and Joel's death is possibly the only reason why Ellie would go on such a journey once again.

Finally, at first I too didn't like Abby. However, as you get to progress through her story, you see that both Ellie's and Abby's story are a parallel of each other. As for the ending, I liked it. The cycle of violence is broken now, Ellie won't be chased down by Lev now that she didn't kill Abby. I enjoyed the game a lot and there are some absolutely beautiful and wholesome moments.

After finding out who killed their father, both of them go for revenge, without caring for the other ones who their acts will affect.
In my opinion, the game is one of the best I played because the way it makes you connect with both characters. It tries to make you feel what Ellie and Abby feels so you, as a player, can put in their shoes for a while and know that in the game (and in life) there are no good and bad, it's all grey, middle point, depending wich point of view you want to see.

An incredible experience. Always been a huge fan of TLOU since it first came out. I loved both the main game and Left Behind and played them both several times to platinum the game. I loved both the main game and Left Behind and played them both several times to platinum the game. I have always considered TLOU to be my favourite game and scrawled through every nook and cranny to find every detail possible for it. I recently just got a platinum on TLOUII and I loved every minute of it. It was honestly one of the most emotional games I’ve ever played. It made me feel emotions that I have never felt in any other type of game. I’ve barely felt some of the emotions I’ve felt playing this game with some movies. It made me cry, laugh, tense, vindictive and remorseful, one emotion after the other. It was honestly such an emotional rollercoaster. When I finished the game, I couldn’t sleep properly for two nights over the emotions I felt. The music is unbelievable, which was always to be expected. It definitely helped with controlling my emotions. The graphics are out of this world. I have a Basic PS4, and it ran so smoothly with breath taking sceneries. The details are everything. I thought RDR2 took it to the next level but TLOUII ran with their ideas and elevated it even further. The hidden details, nods and metaphors to the first game were incredible. The character development was something else entirely. I really felt like I connected with these characters over time. No character trait or flaw was without reasoning. Even though this game doesn’t spell out every detail to you, it didn’t have to if you paid attention to the game, the background and the characters, the notes, etc. The acting and voice acting was nothing like I’ve ever seen before. Ashley Johnson blew me away with her acting for Ellie and brought it to the next level for me. The story, which is the controversial part here, was exactly the direction I expected them to take since I’ve dreamt of there being a sequel and it didn’t disappoint. It took my expectations and brought it to such an amazing place. The contrast between emotions being felt in the moment and the flashbacks were such a nice contrast, as well as being such heartfelt and deep moments to the story. There’s other things to note where they elevated the game: the combat was a huge improvement, the upgrades (both player and workbenches), stealth was a bigger focus and was more hashed out, the puzzles were improved, the AI was incredible and as a person with a disability, the accessibility was so touching to see. And there is so much
More than could be added to this list. I don’t think I will ever experience a game like this again. But I hope I will.

I loved that TLOU2 felt very much like the first one, but with some small tweaks like improved melee combat, some new weapons, enemies and abilities. I was extremely impressed by how the difference between Abby and Elie in combat style was presented, I knew I still played the same game, but it felt totally different.

I need to say that graphics are amazing and that the mood is set very well, I really enjoyed running around that post apocalyptic world.

TLOU2 is supposed to make you feel conflicted, angry, sad and in very rare cases happy. This approach in games usually comes across as soulless cliché story, but for me this game did it just right. This game even made my girlfriend cry a few times, which not a lot of games can achieve.

Of course there are some small things that bugged me like some small bug here and there, or some of the character choices that I found rather stupid, but nothing really big.

I'm truly sad that game receives so much hate, because I don't think it deserves it. For all of those who worked on this game I just want to say that you rock and you should be proud of what you achieved and what masterpiece you helped to build. Thank you for this amazing experience.

The game is beautiful graphically it is incredible to see how a PS4 can run that game, the city of Seattle despite not being an open world and not giving you the possibility of going back to a previous point it looks very very big almost as if you were in a real city , the story at the beginning is heartbreaking makes you mourn the death of Joel and makes you want to kill all those responsible, the game talks about revenge and being blinded by it can leave you empty inside and leave you with nothing making you lose what else you want in the end Ellie loses everything and you will feel that Ellie should have been more grateful to Joel. in short it is a game that you have to play if or if to decide if you like it or not since the end may leave you waiting for more but if you pay attention to how the characters feel you will understand what they are going through. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. After playing 48 hours, two playthroughs and gaining the platinum trophy I am finally ready to let out my opinion of this conserverial sequel.

Before I get into the negative I will like to start with what I loved about the game.

    1. Ellies half of the game had the most interesting part of the story and best cutscenes. When she gets to bounce off side characters like Dina ( who was one of my favorite side characters) it really showed a great side of Ellie.

    2. Abbys gameplay was the most fun since it was more of my play style. While Ellie sneaks around Abby is an army of one. With a flamethrower, hunting rifle and pipe bombs nothing can stop her. She can literally just punch an infected to death and it is brutal.

    3. The one thing everyone praises this game for even if you just hated it is the graphics. This game is beyond beautiful. The music is always perfect for what's happening.

Now let's get into what I disliked

    1. This game just dragged on and on. It tricked me I believe like three times where I thought I was close to the end oh no I still have 10 hours left alright okay here is the ending nope. Not going to lie got pretty frustrated and just wanted to finish it already. In fact where Ellie and Dina are in that awesome farm house then Tommy comes in telling her where abby was last seen . Honestly I would of been okay with the last scene Ellie going off into the night leaving Dina sad and feeling alone. Then bam alright setting up for the next game.

    2. The actual ending was just anti climatic. Ellie travels two states fights of this evil rattlers frees Abby from dying on the beach lets her grab a boat about to let them go and then goes no can't let you go. Okay has this big fight about to drown her and then was like nah go. Okay go backs to the farmhouse and no duh Dina is gone.

All in all it is not better than the first one and doesn't add much to mechanics/gameplay. I dont think its the worst game this year and I understand where they were going with the whole revenge thing it just didn't quite land.

A philological masterpiece about hate. Naughty Dog takes all the elements that made the first part one of the best games ever made and builds on that achieving nearly perfection.

    -Story:
The story is perfect, it just plays with you from the start to the end. You don't know anything the first half of the game, but later in the game, you began slowly to see that appearances are deceiving and you literally didn't know anything about anything.
It takes you through an emotional roller coaster and when you just think that you know something it just slaps your face and gives you the most amazing revelations filled with deep philosophy. These revelations that you will have when playing The Last Of Us Part 2 are often painful, but true and veracious.

This story is one of the darkest and beautiful game stories that I have ever played. On the outer level, the story appears to be depressing and sad, but once you understand fully the philosophy you began to see that the main core of this marvelous piece of art is filled with hope and love.

The story keeps you immersed through your hole play trough, I often found myself screaming at the TV. If you let the game do its thing and let you transposed to its universe it just feels real, you feel every emotional thing that the characters experience, I found myself having tears in my eyes, cried, being filled with happiness, and those big revelations moments felt like being struck by lighting remaining shocked and stunned.
It can't be explained in words, the only way is to experience it, the number of emotions that you feel, I felt during my play trough are overwhelming. After I finished the game I needed a few days off because I couldn't do anything, the greatness of this masterpiece story left me damaged and could not think about anything else.

    -Graphics
The Graphics are astonishing, this graphical fidelity that The Last Of Us Part II touched, by far, beats every other game ever created. The technical achievements and optimizations are amazing. Naughty Dog made the best looking game ever made on old PS4 hardware. This game spits in the face the PC games that run on much powerful hardware and have mediocre graphics. The attention to detail is exquisite, not a thing is left untaught, the animations, the blood every detail is carefully taught and implemented in the game.

    -Gameplay
The gameplay is another place that this game is achieving the ultimate greatness, like the story, the gameplay is perfect, perfect!. Even if you choose to go stealthy and sneak, or go brute force, or just run past your enemies and flank them and escape, you will encounter the most well-crafted game mechanics ever made. The regular enemy feels like real people, having backstories and names, and the AI that drives them is the most real one that I have ever seen. The weapons have a rewarding feeling and when Ellie uses her knife you see the best killing animations ever accomplished.

    -Sound
Sound effects are well executed and contribute to the overall impressiveness of the game. The weapons sound is different based on the location you are. And again the attention to detail is on the next level on the sound branch. If you are paying attention you can hear Ellie breath, the steps, the backpack that is swinging, the ponds that you step in, everything.

    -Conclusion
In conclusion, I want to tell you that you should unquestionably play The Last Of Us Part II, as it took the whole game expectations and set them up to a whole new level, and lays the foreground on what is to come with the next generation of consoles and video games.
