    10/10 would play again! I haven’t finished the story yet but I can honestly say I’m extremely impressed. Don’t listen to all the haters. They are literally just upset because the story didn’t go how they wanted it to. Well guess what, you’re not the artist and that’s how they wanted it to be. Giving this game a terrible score because you hate the story is so petty. The graphics are10/10 would play again! I haven’t finished the story yet but I can honestly say I’m extremely impressed. There’s loads of extra stuff to look around for. This game beat out the first one and I will never change my mind on that.     Stunning game from start to finish. Don't believe the haters and review bombers, this is Naughty Dog raising the bar for the industry yet again. An amazing acheivement that puts the rest of the industry on notice.

    Graphics:
    Needless to say that these are the best graphics of any PS4 game. What a conclusion to the PS4 era! The environments, charactercs and lightings look vivid and realistic. With a PS4 Pro and a good TV it even makes graphics of AAA PC games look obsolete!

    Gameplay:
    The mix between stealth, open fights and exploring is more than splendid! Normally, I‘m not the person to explore game enviroments exhaustively, but TLOU2 just keeps me interested enough, to keep on searching for upgrades, ammo and other supplies. Furthermore, the world is just so beautifully designed, that I often times just climb on a car and just stare at the environments. The crafting and upgrade systemis easy to understand and not as annoying as in other games. That being said, I really think people should snap out of it and learn to think outside of the nutshell. The way the story‘s told is Hollywood worthy and it‘s already one of the best games of the year. I also reckon it being relevant in 10 years.    … Expand

    Auch wenn ich den Unmut einiger hier verstehen kann, ist das Spiel für mich Weltklasse.
    Mir persönlich ist es egal, ob Ellie, oder sonst wer im Spiel, homosexuell oder sonstige Gender verkörpern.
    Oder das Druckmann irgendetwas versprochen hat, was am Ende nicht eingetreten ist. Ich hab in den letzten 20 Jahren schon einige Games gezockt, aber so emotional getroffen, wie in The Last Of Us    Auch wenn ich den Unmut einiger hier verstehen kann, ist das Spiel für mich Weltklasse.

    Musste teilweise mein Controller bei Seite legen, um das gesehene sacken zu lassen.
    Sowohl Story, als auch die Charaktere selbst, kommen so real und glaubwürdig rüber, das man nicht anders kann, als mit zu trauern,hassen, lieben.

    Für mich ist das Spiel ein unvergessliches Meisterstück, der diese Abneigung und Trotz, einiger hier nicht verdient hat.    … Expand

Me gusta, es un muy buen juego, claro no es perfecto, pienso que no llega al 10 por algunos puntos; el propio argumento del juego, el no vengarse se contradice mucho en el juego además de que no me gusto controlar a Abby por el simple hecho de que mató a Joel y me parece que al final del juego le faltó algo, no se siento que para ser tanto tiempo que esperamos sentía que iba a ser mejor pero es un muy buen juego la verdad. Solo que me faltaron varias cosas.… Expand

    Maybe some minor spoilers but absolutely no detail about anything in the story. This game was phenomenal. Graphics are breathtaking, combat is fantastic. The story... for anyone reading the user reviews complaining about it, I say play and judge for yourself. It's a mature story that has nuance and really makes you rethink the actions you take during a game. The callbacks and flashbacksMaybe some minor spoilers but absolutely no detail about anything in the story. This game was phenomenal. Graphics are breathtaking, combat is fantastic.     I have finally finished my first playthrough of The Last of Us Part 2 and I will do my bit to restore the good name of this title.
    Let's get the ugly little details out of the way first. Yes, there are some lengthy bits in that story and yes this is partly due to the massiv environments to explore, which can take you out of it a bit. But... It sooooo pays of in the end. Yes, there are some lengthy bits in that story and yes this is partly due to the massiv environments to explore, which can take you out of it a bit. But... It sooooo pays of in the end. This game is one of the only ones getting real emotions out of me and these lengthy periods contributed to that as well, as the dialog between the characters while exploring is so rich and believable. And although the story sure is devisive it all is in line with what Naughty Dog was setting out to do and it worked time and time again. All that is supported by a superb gameplay and smart as hell AI.

There are few games like this totally surpassed the previous setting and enhanced the whole story to a new level. Ellie doesn’t have a chance to forgive Joe, but she did that to Abby. We hate Abby at the beginning when she got Joel killed like a dog, but while we play as Abby, it is clear that Abby is just another Ellie who has a different background, connection, bond and of course body type(joking here, man! Abby is the beast, look how strong this character is!) Both of them could be good friends if they are in a different world, just like Joel thought Sara would like Ellie at the previous game. This game discusses the relationship between revenge and forgiveness, and the turning point is the one you want to protect with. Such a wonderful game, such a thoughtful game.… Expand

    The best game I have played this year. One of the best games I have played in my entire life. Which most people not distracted by their own bigotry seem to agree on. Beautiful graphics, improved gameplay and a visceral, emotional story (with the best characters and acting I have ever seen in a video game).     Amazing game totally make sense, ppl just dont get the idea behind it! I think that is a perfect setup for part 3.

I think the saddest part is that people went in with an opinion of i hate it, before even playing it, or before watching someone else, because of the leaks and loosing a favorite character without getting "true" revenge was too much for them to deal with. I loved it coming from things like a song of ice and fire and of course the original Last of Us, i love things that break the mold of everything is only "good" or only "evil", and good guys always win with very little negatives. In these games they changed that, they had REAL consequences for EVERY characters actions that felt like real human emotions (grief, anger, sadness, PTSD) its all captured so well, and it shows humanity in its truest form to morality, its not simply black and white (evil and good) its much more complicated than that. An amazing experience, but its very sad to see the community so torn apart because of trolls (Racists Homophobes etc) and people that loved the characters too much to let them change, as there supposed to in a story, which made them hate the game before the start, and if you go in with the mentality of looking at all the bad, you're not gonna find any good. In summary go into games with an open mind, and 0 spoilers, but most of all PLAY the game, you will find games much better that way i'm sure. worked for me anyways, Peace.… Expand

    The game is beautifully made and near perfect in every way. The bold story choices are intentional and work ideal if you understand the game on a deeper level. The game is a sequel to the first one, meant to play in extension to the first one. The storytelling, harsh environment, and beautiful combat and crafting system adds a whole new level to everything. 10/10.

The story brought me so much, it showed me how monsters don't exist but bad choices do. The world building is amazing and unforgettable. I don't hate ellie, I love her still.     Bestes Spiel überhaupt! Habe es noch nie in nem Spiel erlebt, das ich im nachhinein meine Taten bereut habe.

    Absolute Empfehlung auch wenn hier viele ungerechtfertigte Kritiken sind

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
