Technologically advanced, but the most important factor, the story, did not take center stage. The biggest problem is that making abby as playable character. Perhaps the producer induced Abby to understand her revenge more by playing it ourselves, but I would say it was a big mistake. The most important thing when we understand others is the position of a third party. This is where altruism works because humans can never be anyone else. However, when he is busy cursing the character who killed the main character of previous and the representative character of this franchise, which user would be able to understand? If only they had made Ellie playable and showed Abby's story only through video, there might have been users who understood even a little bit. During the game, when the transition from Elly to Abby was made, the level of immersion in the game dropped sharply.This eventually faded the subject of vengeance that Naughtydog pursued.The second problem is of course the killing of Joel. The anger of the users is natural because they killed the main character who was emotionally involved in previous work. I can say without hesitation that this is a very rude behavior that does not care for the fans of the previous work.Surely revenge must be a very difficult and uncomfortable subject.     Graphics... That's the only good thing about this. Everything else is either mediocre or down right awful. The game play did not evolve one bit since 2013. It's still a walking simulator that's more a movie than a game, which would be enjoyable if it had a good story but God damn is it bad. The story simply broke my heart and not in the good way. It's like a spit in the face of the entire fan base. It's like the worst fan fiction you could possibly find. Seriously? This is what you came up after 7 years? Did Twitter write this game? It's full of plot holes and the characters you fell in love with in the first game are completely ruined and you are forced to play with the character that ruined them. I don't mind the woke stuff but when so much of it is obviously forced down your throat it feels like the entire game was built around it so if people don't like it you can pull the victim card and say that they are ists and phobes and whatever. And the director to preach so much about sexualising women in games is bad only than to put that Abby scene in the game? I can't unsee that. WTF were you thinking? I'd rather watch 2 girls one cup on repeat while eating. Let me tell you a little secret western game devs. People are playing games for entertainment and they'd rather see pretty things while doing it than ugl.. excuse me FUGLY ones! This is never going to change. How is sexualising men was never an issue? People don't like to be preached to and to be told what to think. In a video game setting, that choice should be always ours.
    Overall, I don't recommend this, especially if you were a fan of the previous one. maybe buy it when it's on a massive sale. Shame    … Expand

    this is best game ever create . gameplay 10/10 location 10/10 and more 10/10 if you really understand the story then you give perfect score . wtf its a drama story . Do not expect to be told a heroic story. In the second half of the game, a concept story is defined for you. Unfortunately, many people do not understand it. FU#K ALL OF YOU :) wait to see it as goty

    You don't need a good history anymore, just put some teenage drama and some artificial relashionships while demolish the one relashionship that we are realy invested. So tired of swallowing progressive propaganda in my games. Leave the gamer alone **** SWJ. Besides that this game has poor, contrived writing that is just trying to prove a point. OMG just stop, i want my money back.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Прошёл игру и теперь точно игра хорошая, но не шедевр. Не смотря на то, что это не то что мы ждали, сюжет в общем хороший.
    Самое худшее для меня, это персонажи, которые не интересны. Дина самый слабый персонаж, можно было вырезать из игры и все стало бы лучше.
    Так же ноти доги прогнулись абсолютно перед всеми, кроме тех перед кем реально нужно было. В игре одни фемки, трансы, лесби и чёрные. Нет ни одной симпатичной девушки, почти нет ни одного сильного мужика лидера, с если и есть, то его обязательно выпилят, например Джоэл или Мэнни, моя оценка 7/10

    One of these employees must’ve thought Batman vs Superman was a theatrical masterpiece and decided to have an actual repeat of the “Martha” moment in game. You would think that they would learn the mistake and not repeat it, but that’s what happens when you get cocky.

    One of this generation’s defining achievements. Slick, versatile combat/stealth mechanics. Impeccable visuals and world-building. Masterly use of tension and release. Some of the best voice acting in gaming. And a gripping non-linear narrative that pushes the medium forward.

    Finished the game. Completely and utterly terrible. This is a story driven game, if you played the 1st game and loved these characters and their journey, do not buy or play this game.

    Cisgender that kills main character under hypocrisy and joel Is getting killed in the stupidest way possible despite the only character that kills him is the doctors daughter' from the end which you are forced to kill. 20 years killing people and just a cisgender the only one in the whole 2 games kills him . 0 a fake copy form uncharted, the evil within 2 and many more games +fakest cgi blood    … Expand

    The 'gameplay' is so few and far between that when the cutscenes are taken out of a 15 hour game you're perhaps left with around half of that as gameplay, when I mean gameplay around half of my time was spent walking or running between 'zones' there's no focus on exploration at all and is in many ways even more linear than the original. The downtime between gameplay is astoundingly obnoxious. When theres actual gameplay its refreshing to be met with a fresher take on the originals combat and I enjoyed the lethality it represented. Ignore fake 10 review scores and masterpiece buzzwords, don't be a corporate sympathiser. The criticism leading up to the game is wholeheartedly justified. Reviewers that gave this game a perfect score have now handed in their credibility as reviewers and should no longer be taken seriously. This is false advertising and its now clear that they were paid off. Nobody that respects the original would rate this game perfect especially over the dozen reviewers that rated it perfect for a flash of their name on the posters especially when the story is so controversial, its impossible to rate them all the same. Metacritic are also losing credibility to support a platform for reviewing.    … Expand

I am sorry, the first game was a story about retaining humanity in trying times, even the DLC was excellent, but this just seems shoehorned and uncompelling and hell.     Despite what the trolls said, this game is truly an amazing game. The graphic, the mechanics, sound, voice acting are all incredible. The story may not be what people expected, but that's the beauty of it. I love every single second of this game!

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
