    Love the game it has a great story like the first game i love them both this game truely deserves game of the year thanks naughty dog for this game i love it.

    To hell with negative reviews! Everyone scolds the plot, but it's not that bad. Go through the game several times and maybe then you will feel what you could not feel during the first pass. I'm referring here to the relationship between Ellie and Joel, because that's what the first part was all about, right? Thanks to flashbacks, we can understand how the main characters ' relationships changed after the first part. And, damn it, the developers managed to hold this storyline to the very end that just can not but please! As much as I love this series of games, I hope that there will be no more new parts of The last of us, because this will already be a clear bust.     amazing graphics, gameplay, music and story build. even though I understand where all the user critics are coming from, a game or a story certainly isn't bad because it didn't play out the way you like it to. that aside, I absolutely enjoyed every bit of this experience. my only complaint is, that it offers no multiplayer, apart from that it's a masterpiece

    The game itself is very good, it manages to bring all the "gameplay" of the first and improves it in the second game.
    The point of the story, let's talk like a metaphor, and like an eyeglass. You put it on and don't ask someone how it was, you look in the mirror and say if it was good or not.

    One of the best games i've played. Graphics are amazing, the gameplay feels so much better and smoother than in the first game. The story is interesting in its own way. It is something different than we expected but it puts another perspective on the story of Joel and Ellie. People just need to realize that just because the story is not what they expected, it doesn't mean it is bad. IOne of the best games i've played. Firstly, I would like to say I don’t think the narrative of the story is the best and it could be improved however I don’t think the current narrative is easy to diners or understand. I know I’m going to get called an ND fanboy for this but I just want to leave my thoughts about the game.(sorry for bad English in advance)

    After reading dozens of reviews, I have realised a vast majority of the users that rated down the game did not have a valid explanation as in why the game wasn’t good. from hating on ND Because they included characters from LGBT community(you should not play ND games if you are one of these) to being upset because Joel died. Or some upset because this wasn’t a story of hope and ‘light at the end of the Tunnel’ like the first game. People need to realise this is a different game with a completely different story.

    I have seen genuine criticism and I think some of them are good I personally did not like having to play through the character that killed one of the most beloved characters from the first game however I understand Naughty dogs decision to do this as this will further justify the story and the theme they are trying explore. The story spends a long time trying to make you empathise with Abby which just didn’t do it for me personally.

    However I do not believe the game needs to receive this much hate only because majority of the players did not really understand the message naughty dog was trying to convey which is that: revenge hurts you and everyone around you and there will be blood and consequences and there isn’t really winner. I did not exactly see Abby as winner in this. She lost everyone she care about and all of her plans ruined. Neither did Ellie. Her love left her and she did not get what she wanted. She just needed to accept that the burden of Joel’s death will be with her for the rest of her life. The point is that there was no winner in this bloody revenge story.

    In terms of the gameplay, sound design and the environment, naughty dog has set the bar very high. The graphics are incredible and the movements and gameplay are amongst the best I have seen.
    I decided to rate this game 10 out of 10 simply because I thought every other aspect of the scheme was perfect and beautifully crafted and I have much appreciation for naughty dog as a game company. I just don’t Believe the game needs to get this much backlash and hate simply because of its controversial and rather complex narrative.    … Expand

    this game is really good , not the best ever but deserve a very good note , guys that spend their time saying it worth 0 are dumbb or never played any videogame this few years that's it , good gameplay/technic good story telling and wonderfull face animation . 35h of fun and no microtransactions , what could you ask more ?

    The Last of Us Part II is the high point of the PlayStation 4. The plot is controversial, but the game is the incredibly addictive adventure of Ellie, from which it is impossible to pull away from the opening and to the very end.

    Not everyone is going to enjoy the motives of The Last of Us Part II. But if you try and manage to accept the subliminal and not so subtle messages as a fact that the world has gone awry and that people have the need to have somewhere or someone to belong to as their own way out, then... You will witness the boundaries of gaming expand. You will witness a true masterpiece.
