Oct 29, 2021Simply amazing. I hear the complaints about "stiff graphics" but understanding where this game comes from as well as the idea of 'art style' will get you past this barrier. This game is an experience that no gamer should go without experiencing. It will influence other games for years to come. Play a pioneer while it's still easily digestible. Also, avoid spoilers at all costs!

Mar 6, 2023Most surprising, refined game I have played in a long time.
Do yourself a favor, do not read up on it but let yourself be surprised by the story.
Story is top notch, dialogue is well written, plenty of suprising twists.
Go and enjoy this jewel! -

Aug 9, 2021There are a few technical hiccups that are to be expected (and forgiven) of a game produced primarily by three people. Textures have a habit of popping in, or in some instances not loading at all, and it’s easy to get stuck behind an innocuous piece of scenery, though I reached the end credits without a proper crash or hard reset. Despite that, The Forgotten City is a tremendous achievement, a labyrinthine little sandbox packed with interpersonal mysteries – some ghoulish, others dorkishly domestic – that unravel further and further with each pass. For me, the moment that it got its hooks into me was when I used my foreknowledge of an impending accident to ensure that an assassin met an unfortunate end without my having to raise a finger. After that I was sunk, and the credits arrived too soon. Tempus fugit, indeed.

Aug 4, 2021The transformation from mod to real game took a long time, but the final result fully convinced us.

Aug 4, 2021What was born as a Skyrim mod has come true with a full game that is around ten hours long and offers an interesting story, full of time twists, four different endings and around ten hours long. Technically worked, with specific errors in its graphics and interface and with an intelligent use of time loops to solve missions, the player is challenged to discover the ins and outs of a civilization governed by the golden rule where the consequences of a bad action, they can be fatal. Discover the ins and outs of this small-scale civilization, make decisions and discover all its characters.
