    Uma adaptacion un poco extraña de resident evil 4, y silent hill, una trama que deja mucho que desear, en donde tu eres un policia que investiga un caso, y los enemigos son mmm un tanto psicologicos, muy fuertes abrumador y tu un simple policia los derrotas, mejorando armas y habilidades,

    A nivel grafico es mmm aceptable sin anda que descatar, tomando en cuenta que es un juego de la pasada generacion, el nivel de dificultad es bueno, tienes que pensar en el tipo de arma a utiilizar pero muy lineal, demasiado para mi gusto, en cuanto a detalle, me parecio muy cool que los saves del titulo sea a traves de espejos, y cuando lo hagas se haga un grieta y la musica muy buena xD
    Pero mmm hizo falta mas contenido, extra o secundario, una trama que pudo ver sido mejor, ya que mm lfue como una pelicula, y yo no busco eso en un videojuego, tiene que ser mas asombroso.
    Aunque dejenme decirles la escena inicial en la mansion es muy buena, y eso fue por el cual lo compre, xD, lo consegui en $40 en su lanzamiento a PS4.    … Expand

    El juego está bien, pero siendo del creador de DMC y RE me esperava más. La primera hora y media es colosal la verdad pero luego navega entre un juego de accion y terror sin definirse muy bien. Excelentes DLCs por cierto. Si te gusta el terror, por el precio que a dia de hoy tiene 2019... compra fija. Grande Sebastian !!

    The Evil Within is a awesome survivor/horror game. Playing EW brought back memories of playing the early RE games on ps1. Resident Evil 2 and 3 are my favorite survivor/horror games and I will be putting EW right next to those on my list. The survivor part of EW is great you really feel the need to conserve ammo and health in order to proceed. Definitely need to be creative in how youThe Evil Within is a awesome survivor/horror game. The game play was great and once you get used to the controls it feels really comfortable. graphics are nice and the sounds really add to that horror element.     This game is from the master of Survival-Horror, the man that gave us RE1 and RE4. It's a game from him in every aspect.
    First stop, the beginning is slow, just like in RE1 and RE4. But after chapter 3 you get into the game. The story is weird, I wouldn't say it is awful, but it is not clear. Which most horror fans should like.

    Just one of my favourite action-horror games, it is a combination of Silent Hill with Resident Evil 4 with some very terrifying situations that made me scream to my monitor.

The problem of the game is that it came out at one time with fashionable screamers like Fivi Nights at Freddy and Outlast. For example, in this game you are trying to frighten the atmosphere and plot instead of stupid crawlers in an unexpected place. TheI can't understand the haters of this game. This is an objectively excellent horror, which is made in the best traditions of this genre.     This was a surprise for me. I enjoyed the heck out of this game. I was far removed from when the game dropped and had no expectations going into the game. It was rather zany and unconventional, but I loved the approach they went with. A friend and I sat and beat it in two sittings and thoroughly enjoyed the survival horror game.     Pretty good, almost a guilty pleasure with just how much AAA **** there is in this game. The usual one-hit-kill stealth, action more than horror, and crafting but still ends up its own unique beast. Areas/sections of the game go all over the place from every horror cliches like hospitals, villages, ruin cities, etc. If you want a good story and likable characters, you're gonna hate this.

    The evil within um jogo com um enredo confuso mas envolvente! é tensão a cada minuto. inimigos criativos e com significados. personagens carismáticos que combinam com a trama horripilante! o que peca neste game e os constantes bugs mais tirando isto e um excelente jogo de terror e sobrevivência!

    Pero a partir de poco antes de la mitad, muy decepcionante, muy corto, una historia no muy buena, pero sus boss son muy muy entretenidos, pero no encajan en la historia, son muy buenos    The Evil Within, un titulo que esperaba mucho mas de lo ofrecido, el inicio del juego es frenetico, muy bueno, te transmite una sensacion de un horror survivor, muy entretenidas las primeras horas de juego.
    Pero a partir de poco antes de la mitad, muy decepcionante, muy corto, una historia no muy buena, pero sus boss son muy muy entretenidos, pero no encajan en la historia, son muy buenos modelados, diseños pero no pegan con la historia, un progreso estilo RPG que deja mucho que desear, la jugabilidad es mala, a mi en lo personal no me gusto.
    Graficamente: Es un port de PS3, si ya lo jugaste en PS3, no vale la pena re jugarlo en PS4.
    Jugabilidad: Muy malo, es al estilo de resident evil 4, sinseramente paso de jugar asi en la actual generacion o incluso en PS3.
    Narrativa: MMM muy extraña la historia, como digo los personajes, los boss, tienen un diseño excelente, la sensacion al huir de ellos es grata, es lo que se espera de un horror survival, pero la trama no, es malisima.
    Controles: Pues no es dificil, muy bien adaptados.
    El juego lo compre en $40 , usado, me senti estafado al terminarlo, y otro mas que cuenta con DLC.
    Mi nota es alta para este titulo, pero es que los enemigos son asombrosos, es una recopilacion de enemigos, y han creado a uno en especial que me encanta, y no no me refiero a la mujer gritona, me refiero al de la portada.

    A mi parecer este juego es una mezcla perfecta entre Resident Evil 4, The Last of us y cierto toque a Silent Hill, es un survival horror en toda regla, que tiene momentos muy estresantes en los que tendremos muy poca munición para plantar cara a los enemigos, en cuanto a nivel de historia aunque sea confusa la campaña principal, una vez pasado los DLC´s todo lo que ocurre dentro del juegoA mi parecer este juego es una mezcla perfecta entre Resident Evil 4, The Last of us y cierto toque a Silent Hill, es un survival horror en toda regla, que tiene momentos muy estresantes en los que tendremos muy poca munición para plantar cara a los enemigos, en cuanto a nivel de historia aunque sea confusa la campaña principal, una vez pasado los DLC´s todo lo que ocurre dentro del juego cobra mucho más sentido, y a mi parecer son indispensables para poder disfrutar por completo de este gran juego que no llega al nivel de obra maestra, pero si de ser uno de los mejores juegos de la pasada generación.… Expand

    The Evil Within is a one-of-a-kind game. It blends many elements from past and current survival horror titles into an unforgettable experience. The interesting atmosphere and story, the varied areas and bosses. The combat is a bit clunky though and the traps sprinkled in every area may take a bit to get used to. If you can look past the few gameplay flaws, you'll have a blast.

    Fantastic!!! Shinji Mikami should be proud into making something so original. The Evil Within has so much to offer and it shows on how an actually survival horror is made. I didn't like the redundant level progression, which shows on how cliche some games can be.     This game and it's DLC's is a horror rollercoaster ride. Characters, graphics, story are very well done. You don't have many places in the game where you fell really safe. You love horror and survival with a challenge this game is for you.

    Теперь о не очень весёлом. Мне не понравилась шутерная часть игры, стрелять мне было не удобно. Передвигаться кстати тоже. Не знаю какая то корявость была во всём этом. Это касается и стэлса.
    Да в этом игра чем то напоминала Resident Evil 4, но только в этом.
    История, ну лично для меня, была не плохая.
    Честно говоря выдохнул когда прошел игру до конца, это мне чем то напомнило прохождение Resident Evil 7. Игра не плохая, но возвращаться в неё я не хочу.
    Кстати в сиквеле исправили всё то, что мня так угнетало в оригинале. Да и эта душащая атмосфера исчезла. Как по мне сплошные плюсы.
    Проходил игру на XBox 360, но пробовал и на PlayStation 4. Визульно разницы не заметил, может разрешение повыше. Поэтому и оценки +- одинаковые.    … Expand

    This is a solid survival horror game that could’ve been even much better. The scares are genuine, and this is no easy game that is for certain. I’ve been playing survival horror for 24years and this one is very very frightening at points. Also the ability to craft and level up is solid.

The story and writing are very cryptic . I have no idea with a good story like this why they decided not to tell the player more clearly what was going on.
    So, it can be frustrating at times to not know what is really happening.

In addition, the graphics look noticeably outdated for a 2014 game. The textures are muddy and the picture throughout is grainy and blurry. This looks more like a PS3/Xbox 360 game from 2008 than a product fromMediocre horror game at best. The mechanics are also not properly explained at the start, even on the casual difficulty, making the experience confusing for new players. At times, I found myself stuck in certain scenarios without a clue or walkthrough to guide me. What is a visual object and an actual game-changing item is hard to figure out unless done through trial and error. I do not recommend this game at all. Go play Resident Evil 7 or Village instead.     Um dos melhores games de survival horror que eu já joguei. Mistura psicologia e psicanálise com questões políticas e filosóficas, tudo para formar um enredo que é muito mais complexo do que aparenta ser. Os graficos são ultrapassados, é bem verdade, mas ainda assim o game possui um sistema de iluminação incrível.

    I would like to call it " Resident evil 4.5". Everything is perfect but it's very laggy, sometimes game crashing. They really like use flash light to hurt players' eye, it's annoying.

    If you can accept laggy and flash light to hurt your eyes, believe me, it's a good game, I am evry enjoy it. Don't give up "Akumu" mode, lot of fun there.

    Despite the 7 i really enjoyed this game a lot, i was reading the collectables to undertstand even more about the game. The probems are the grapichs i also hate the annoying black bars on the top and bottem of the screen and theres not much horror, felt more like a resident evil game but with bad graphics

    I finally beat this game after playing it a few times and getting bored. It was quite the torturous chore to beat because of the trial and error gameplay that you had to nearly perfect before proceeding forward. It was more of a challenge to overcome than a fun game to play. The plot/story didn't seem to really amount to anything even by the credits which was a disappointment.

    Este juego está lleno de violencia extrema, escenas grotescas y viscerales, lo cual no es algo negativo,    ``Mucho Ruido. Sin nueces´´
    Evil Within es un juego del visionario director Shinjii Mikami, conocido como el padrino del Survival Horror, y mente maestra de franquicias como Resident Evil y Dino Crisis. En esta ocasión nos trajo la que vendría siendo su peor y más floja entrega.

    Este juego está lleno de violencia extrema, escenas grotescas y viscerales, lo cual no es algo negativo, pero se vuelve tan gratuito que arruina por completo la experiencia de adentrarse al mundo que se nos presenta en pantalla. Por no mencionar además que los movimientos de cámara no ayudan en lo absoluto, el plano medio se mantiene fijo en nuestro protagonista a lo largo de todo el juego, y esto puede cansar o frustrar a más de un jugador.

    A pesar de sus considerables puntos negativos. Evil Within es un juego que se puede disfrutar si eres nuevo en el Survival Horror y no has jugado otros títulos de este subgénero. Conlleva una mezcla de sonido espectacular, asi como el diseño de los villanos que son tan creativos como aterradores.

    En resumen, es un juego mediocre, que pudo haber sido mucho mejor si se hubieran enfocado en la narrativa visual, química, coherencia y desarrollo de personajes, en vez de invertir todo en el estilo y el ´Shock Factor´. Sin embargo todo esto puede resultar funcional y efectivo para varios jugadores que buscan un juego con abundante oscuridad y ultra-violencia para entretenerse. Pero aquellos que buscan una entrega que esté al nivel de Resident Evil, este juego no es para ustedes.

    Ok it is like Resident Evil meets Silent Hill sort of-ish. It does all the cliché trope horror things. So at no point was I even scared. I liked the action orientated gameplay. It was fun shooting up those freaky freaks. Stealth was ok and mostly not needed. Some meh QTE and scripted instant kill BS, but not that many. The bosses were fun and Silent Hill type memorable. I liked how the environment was used to make it more challenging and also helpful to the player. Progression based skills with scavenging lite and ultra basic crafting is a ok carrot on stick.

    The story is ok, but the VA is mostly bad and the dialogue is just crap. The game play and level design is where the fun stuff is at. Thankfully multiple saves even though they are only check point saves. So no save anywhere or any time. I almost thought I would need to reload for lack of health midway, but I scraped through on a tiny bit of health for one entire level. The game throws out a lot of cheap tactics and cheap traps. Which is compounded by a bad camera angle at times with a constant poor frame rate. The purposely wobbly aim and terrible lighting in some sections doesn't really help.

    The atrocious frame rate was such a big issue on the PS3 I literally gave up on the game. Optimization is barely better on the PS4. I had bought this game twice now So I was determined to finish it on the PS4 and I did. I have no wish to replay this atrocious unoptimized game ever again on the PS4.    … Expand

    The game is strong on the horror element, but it's hard to ignore the issues with the camera positioning. Also the story was kinda underwhelming.

    During the initial chapters it hints at some incredible twists and you start imagining convoluted explanations for what is going on, but in the end it was just the most simple scenario.     我玩到第十章，已经快没有耐心了。因为美术和引擎的原因，初代不如续作优秀。相比二代，场景和节奏有些紧张的让人透不过气，关卡重复度也过高，玩到后面有些枯燥乏味。我接触过生化7，恶灵附身2，生化2重置这些三上真司作品的续作，都不错，然而他亲手制作的原版ip却不觉得好玩。

    Хорошая игра всем советую, отличный сюжет, кинематогрофичные сцены, хороший геймплей(только на высоких сложностях за счёт дефицита боеприпасов). Конченые 30 фпс!!!!

    Una entrega de 8.5 para arriba. La estética, el diseño de niveles y la ambientación son sublimes, y más teniendo en cuenta la época de lanzamiento. Presenta un punto de terror más intenso que su secuela, y aunque jugablemente es más tosco, merece mucho la adquisición de esta obra de arte.

    Mención añadida merecen sus DLC, ambos complementan la experiencia de manera sublime.

    It has its ups and downs not gonna lie. The story is a mess, in a good way I think. It's so confusing at times but understandable to a degree. Sadly they didn't pick it up in the sequel but maybe in the third game. The Gameplay is fun, it reminds me of The Last of Us, but it's also like RE4.     Jogo interessante, com história fraca, mas ao menos nos deixa curioso. Por ser um game de 2014 achei uma jogabilidade muito ruim, travada e com muitos erros e glitches. A trilha sonora, mix sound também ruins. Joguei até o final para entender o hype, e continuo não entendendo.

    There's a comical amount of gore in this game. I can't take the horror element seriously. There's a frickin blood-drenched slip n slide 10 minutes in. Honestly, I find this game to simply be more unpleasant than horrific. The slow pace of moving around the environment isn't really setting a mood for me. Hiding just makes this feel like Outlast.

    The guy with the chainsaw bounces around like a kid throwing a tantrum. While I'm sure it'd be a "wtf" moment in real life, it doesn't translate into the game.

    Yet somehow, I have to watch the camera bounce with Sebastian as he limps. Odd what they choose to emphasize.

    Speaking of, the characters are so lacking in character that they pretty much fit the role of meatbags which the bad guys treat you as. So it doesn't really feel like much is at stake. Just a whole bunch of trial and error. Might as well call it Trial And Error: The Game (Soaked in Blood edition).
    There isn't any way to revert to the last checkpoint without dying so you're literally just going to stand there taking 5 chainsaw slashes waiting to die, meanwhile the first guy you see auto kills you? I don't understand the pacing choices.

    The grainy filters are really monotonous, btw. That actually references the overarching issue here: it's just a mix of random horror elements thrown into an action game without much explanation.

    Okay, he just limped for a while, and then something pounded on the ceiling and he started running. Umm... Why? Did the vibration somehow heal him? You know what, I'm just going to accept that this game makes zero sense.

    I'll update my review as I continue to play, but this isn't looking very promising. Really don't see what the hype is about.    … Expand

    Final Thoughts:

    The Evil Within is great fun…as an action game. Its gameplay and mechanics make the player think about their next moves, and with some thrilling tension and glimmers of plot potential, it’s a decent start to a series I’m looking forward to continuing.

    A este juego le tengo mucho cariño, lo jugué cuando tenia 12, y esa sensación de peligro es inolvidable, no se ni como me lo pase porque sufría cada que lo jugaba, el mejor survival horror que he jugado, este juego no es un 10, pero para mi si lo es

    This game was not only great for its time, but is objectively great now. Yes, the graphics are rough, the controls are clunky and the mechanics are dated. But there is a genuine sense of horror and suspense throughout the game. Something RE4R failed to offer at all.     The Evil Within sembra essere il figlio illegittimo della più famosa saga "Resident Evil". Un survival horror che non è solo scare jump. Impersonando i panni del detective Castellanos ci si avventura in un mistero dove niente sembra essere quello che è. Alcuni ambienti portano a semplici, forse troppo, enigmi da risolvere. Ma queste situazioni sono in linea con i survival horror piùThe Evil Within sembra essere il figlio illegittimo della più famosa saga "Resident Evil". Un survival horror che non è solo scare jump. Impersonando i panni del detective Castellanos ci si avventura in un mistero dove niente sembra essere quello che è. Alcuni ambienti portano a semplici, forse troppo, enigmi da risolvere. Ma queste situazioni sono in linea con i survival horror più datati. I comuni nemici sono divertenti da affrontare, sia silenziosamente che a viso aperto. La difficoltà è alta e costringerà il giocatore a trovare ogni risorsa possibile per andare avanti. Alcuni boss invece fin troppo simili tra loro. Il forte tributo voluto da Shinji Mikami alla saga Capcom si sente, ma non scade nel "plagio" ma bensì nell'"omaggio". D'altra parte chi se non lui poteva arrogarsene il diritto?… Expand
