    Not the best Spider-Man game out there but for the time it was released it’s decent. It’s hard to not have fun swinging around as Spider-Man! The gameplay is very outdated of course and the voice acting is horrendous but it was all we really had at the time before Insomniacs Spider-Man series .

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The game was glitchy and the game had pop in lagging and glitchy, and the game did not run at 60 FPS and the graphics looks OK bud. I expected more from PlayStation because of them being in the market later because the graphics don’t look impressive and there’s too much glitching and too much lagging, and too much of the graphics not being impressive in the game not running at 60 FPS… Expand

    Although it is a product of 2014, it has very good graphics and the fact that the game is short and the boss fights are consecutive is enjoyable.

    This movie is a good as Avengers 1. Peter is as funny as Deadpool. Mary Jane is a beautiful as Gwen Stacy. The movie is entertaining as Spider Man 1.
    I recommend this movie because is a genre of action and entertainment. The visual effects are impressive. And it is a movie that is in the Marvel Comics.    … Expand

    This is the first spider-man game and I honestly think it's great. I've played Arkham city and understand that it's a great game but also super gritty. I feel this game gives you the fun I was looking for to just be a superhero.

And the mention of Gwen Stacy (despite not being shown). It is hard to understand whether this is a continuation of the film or another universe due to this. But back to the game. The problem with the storyline of this game follows the same problem the film had. Too many villains! it would've been better had the game been after one villain and was longer without introducing too many different plots. But this game isn't at all "Bad". It has amazing web-swinging. shooting and stays quite consistently when fighting villains (which can be repetitive at times). There are a few side missions which could've been better done with more voice-overs. Nonetheless, this game is good the first time around but won't have you playing week after week wondering what size mission you have to do. But it will keep you entertained while being played.… Expand

    Such an Amazing Game, i feel so nostalgic when playing this! I like the Movement, and the Fighting-System feels smooth and cool, yea sometime it gets kinda boring but the Bosses where cool too.

    Play literally any other spider-man game and you'll probably have a better time. The gameplay is pretty average for a spider-man game, but the story is terrible and throws out the cannon of the amazing spider-man movie universe completely, which is what this game is supposed to be based on.

    this game had everything to be very good, but it ruined everything !! the web swing was extremely poorly executed, the game dialogs are heartbreaking, the graphics are very bad compared to The previous game , The game he disappoints in all aspects !! He could be much better but the creator ended the game, he seems to have been released in a hurry.

    This game has many interesting concepts; swinging with each hand, pretty cool stealth segments, a reputation system, but this game needed another year in development

    This game sucks guys I don't know how's it possible to **** up this game. The first game was better with everything graphics, combat, diteils etc. it wasn't something good but it could still entertain but second part I don't know what to say ****.

    Somehow this game is worse than the first one. The combat is **** the grahics suck, the story is confusing. The swinging is bad and not pratical at all.Also, its buggy as hell. Maybe the worse Spider-Man game ever.

Yes and no, the swinging is okay and the combat is pretty much the first games combat (batman arkham) all I can say is play the game if you want. Everything looks so cheap too.     This game is **** T for teen? More like E for everyone. This game is made for kids. With bad graphics and bad story. Only good things i found was good skins and good for kids. I can't belive that this game exist.

    El juego no tiene nada que ver con la película, muchas misiones repetidas y muy poca variedad de enemigos durante el juego y un mal control y camara de juego, la verdad los juegos del aracnido han decaído mucho desde los juegos del Play Station One, pero si eres fan de los comics y del aracnido adelante.

    With Beenoxs newest addition to the Spider-Man universe, I feel as if they really quit when trying to create a universe that was both fun and also made sense. There were a lot of confusing concepts in this game, the story wasn't interesting and the gameplay never changed, the web swinging was the best it had been in the last 5 years but it also feels extremely plastic. You press the button, you hold on to the web for 2 seconds until it automatically lets go. The animation for the web swinging isn't creative and doesn't hold on type of good physics. He always looks the same when swinging. The graphics are OK, nothing incredible but they are exceptable. I however did enjoy fighting crimes and unlocking new suits. The fighting wasn't bad but it was just too easy. The boss fights could break the game over time too. I feel as if it wasn't beenox's fault of creating such a mediocre title, instead with the recent flaws that activision has been committing, such as low budget quick cash grabs, Activision really just cared about stealing money from young spidey fans. Beenox could have created an incredible game like they did with Shattered Dimensions, however activision slowly started to shift away to the Call of Duty genre. What doesn't make sense as well is that Activision just stopped caring about its fans. Adding Micro-DLC to every game possible, such as recent Call of Duty titles.

    Verdict:
    If you're a fan of spider man and you're looking for a game to waste a bit of time playing you won't be disappointed. However this game isn't worth half of its retail price. If you find this game for around 10 bucks, I would say its pretty fun, however a game so broken and unfinished doesn't deserve even 30 dollars.    … Expand

    This game is very good,I also like the kind of the game but the graphics are not excellent!If you are fan of Spider-Man I am sure you will like it!I also disagree with the Metascore Critic,I think it worth something else

    The amazing spider-man 2 is a brilliant film the ending was so unexpected and i was really entertained but they could of chose a better actor to play spider-man he just doesn't look the part.

    I would normally go into the good points about this game, but I really can't. What can I say, you can still web-swing? No, glitches multiplied by 10 from The Amazing Spider-Man makes it near impossible to complete any mission or side-challenge without running into a problem with the game.

    The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is one of those games that I want to call bad, but in reality, there really isn't anything terribly bad about this game. However, it didn't do a whole lot right, either. Swinging around New York City is very satisfying, and gives a very accurate representation of Spider-Man. It has a Hero/Menace system similar to Infamous, and it's done well.    It's.. not great.

There's a lot that TASM 2 did right, but then there's the things that this game did wrong. The combat is boring, the side quests are stupid, and the plot is stupid and predictable. It's fun to swing around in this game, but everything else is just unenjoyable and dumb.

    This game is a mess! i felt like the director of the game just don't want to make the game so people come to him "is that dialogue fine?" and he like "Yea yea, just put it in....." i can't enjoy this game, even if i want to.

    I am a die hard Spider-Man fan but this game was a major disappointment. The story was so dull and the dialogue was really cheesy. The graphics sucked and I really didn't enjoy this game. The gameplay is similar to the Batman Arkham series but it just doesn't feel as fluid and fun. The only thing they did right was the web slinging mechanics.
