Jul 8, 2022This is a hidden gem in the ps4 library, the game itself is playable art and very creative in its design. The only thing I did not like was how the game forces you to play more levels where it could have been better to finish when you reach the story arc goal. however, that said is only a niche on a fantastic game wish I played it on the P.S Vita before though.

Jun 27, 2022A lot of great mechanics and options makes this game a memorable experience.

Игра для деток, сори. И это при том, что я фанат нинтендо. Зато игра использует уникальные возможности контроллера, за что ей респект! -

Jan 17, 2021This is a beautiful 3d plattformer/adventure in paper style. The gameplay is fun and the visuals still looks amazing today, 5 years after its release.

Jun 17, 2020Creative use of the PS4 controller makes for a surprising and visionary game. It's not super fun, and some sections could have been cut to make for a more focused game. But it's damn creative and visionary.

May 15, 2018Still as charming as the original game, this game is hindered by the same problems and with an overly long end portion.

Aug 18, 2017Sold after 5hrs. Such a horrendous and overrated game. The game is extremely tedious and the controls and the camera are horrendous. Not recommended at all unless you want a boring game
-
Jul 18, 2017The game has a nice idea, but it easily becomes frustrating when you have to move around your controller and it's just not precise enough to be more fun than frustrating.

May 28, 2017While there’s some fun to be had, the awkward platforming soon becomes dull. It's probably best to play when you've got a spare half hour of so, but any longer and the creative world of Tearaway Unfolded might start to become tedious.

Mar 29, 2017It is a very interesting idea of the presentation. Very good images. But the big problems are control and camera. The design of the controls and cameras are simply awful. The game itself can be fun and enjoyable. But the controls and cameras annoy you all the time.

Mar 28, 2017From the unique story to its creative gameplay, Tearaway Unfolded is truly one of the most varied games I've ever played. At its core is a simple platformer, which is effective and becomes more complex as the game goes on. The only troubles I had playing was with the camera and the ending. It doesn't seem to know when to end, but when it does it is heartwarming and worthwhile.

Nov 18, 2015Tearaway Unfolded, like its mobile forebear, is an enchanting adventure. A bedrock of strong platforming mechanics supports a world that recalls The Wizard of Oz’s wide-eyed whimsy. Children will absolutely adore it, but even grown-up gamers with a taste for handcrafted, homespun style should follow the fold.

Nov 15, 2015Serious gamers after a good mixture of challenge, story and mechanics may be left wanting. [Issue#167, p.79]

Nov 9, 2015Sony made a great decision in bringing this charming IP to PS4. Just like the Vita version, Unfolded has the same great feel of utilizing the hardware in an interesting and fun way.
