Jul 14, 2020Highly enjoyable as a puzzler - Superluminal is a great addition to the genre. Could the game be longer and the plot be a bit meatier? Sure! Could it be more polished? Of course. That being said, the underlying experience and the moments of delight that the game brings make it worth the time and investment.

Jun 14, 2021A fun perception-based puzzle with a nice sense of humour.
If you have any interest in the puzzle genre or enjoy thinking out of the box you want it.
Warmly recommended. -
Dec 27, 2020This game was great. The puzzles were fun for the most part and were rarely frustrating.

Dec 26, 2021Nice idea, but unfortunately I found some of the puzzles a little too obscure and couldn’t finish it. Seemed more of a chore than fun as the story was also extremely thin. A shame really. Wouldn’t recommend.

Apr 23, 2021I love first person and third person puzzle games, so I was interested in this game. I was attracted to the relaxing nature of the game with the setting and music. I couldn't get very far into the game though because the movement was so sluggish and made me so dizzy that I couldn't play anymore. A shame because the game seemed worth a playthrough.

Sep 23, 2022Nothing to add to the review by jwheeties that sums it up perfectly. Except that it's not worth the money - the current price of $20 is way too much for a couple of hours of an indie game. -50% at least is when I'd get it and only if I craved that stanley parable/portal itch.

Mar 24, 2021A fantastically entertaining game that gets the mind working, I played right through this game in one sitting and never got bored once.

Apr 25, 2023Super interessante a ideia do jogo. É bem simples, levemente bugado às vezes.

Jun 3, 2023The gameplay and physics was awesome. The message was interesting but not fully realized. I wish it was alot longer!

Apr 28, 2023Superliminal is like an optical illusion, but for your brain. It made me feel like a genius, until I got stuck on a puzzle and realized I'm just a potato

Apr 12, 2021Overall Superliminal is a great puzzle experience, and you feel throughout it that the developers had fun putting it together. This is a dream therapy that actually works, being funny and creative at the same time.

Sep 24, 2020Superliminal truly feels like a whimsical dream – it might base itself in mundane reality at first, but it doesn’t take long before that goes out the window and fantastic elements start to flourish, and I already wish I could experience it again for the first time.

Playstation Official Magazine UKAug 22, 2020A short, tightly designed, and satisfying puzzler. Changing perspectives to alter sizes and shapes is intriguing. It stumbles awake but sweet dreams are made of this. [Issue#179, p.73]
