High quality precision platformer bursting with retro charm. Love it for the late game's extreme challenge, lack of any checkpoints, and requirement for player patience.

Good puzzles to solve and fun exploration built into the level design. Medium/high friction of ground/air control regarding player character. Not slippery. Old school collision hit boxes, appropriate for the title.

Good progression regarding level unlocks to hit 100%. Fulfilling to the end - if you're a completionist there is reward right to the credits.

Platformer fans should jump on this.

Super Life of Pixel may be another retro indie platformer, but it does have heart. It presents a cool recreation of some classic graphical styles from yesteryear gaming platforms, with some slick chiptune audio to go with it. Sadly, the gameplay doesn't quite match up to the presentation. Despite this, there is still plenty to enjoy if you fancy a trip down memory lane, just expect a challenge if you do pick this one up.

The retro premise of Super Life of Pixel is fantastic but the degree of challenge is a bit too hard for its own good. As a result, many casual gamers will likely give up well before experiencing everything it has to offer.
