    En este caso nuestro protagonista es un gato salvaje, que vive tan contento con su manada hasta que en una de sus excursiones rutinarias ocurre un accidente y se ve inmerso en un extraño mundo que era totalmente inexistente para él. Tu objetivo en el juego es superar todos los obstáculos para salir de allí y volver con tu manada.

    Por el camino conoceremos una historia paralela apasionante, en una sucia y oscura ciudad habitada por unos robots con los que tendremos que interactuar para poder llegar a nuestro objetivo.

    En cuanto a mecánicas, Stray es una aventura que pica de muchos géneros. Tiene un toque de plataformas, exploración, aventura gráfica.... Las animaciones del gato están cuidadas al detalle, es simplemente una delicia verlo moverse. Si eres una persona que convive con gatos, te darás cuenta enseguida.

    No se trata de un juego largo. A mi me ha durado menos de una semana, soy una persona ocupada y no suelo pasar de una hora u hora y media de partida al día, calculo que unas 7 u 8 horas. Por lo que para terminarlo a full en un fin de semana va fetén.

    Un juego original por la idea de ser gato pero que jugablemente es muy simple, no añade nada nuevo, todo muy obvio.
    El final está bien pero mal llevado, podrían haberlo hecho mucho mejor y no acabar tan rápido.

    This is a good game, but it is a bit overhyped. Its never explained, why the cat is able to communicate with the robots, nor is the cat a very interesting character, which is of course given, because its just a house cat.

    Just completed the game, its fantastic! I'm glad this got popular. Was afraid it was going to be another indie gem hidden underneath all the triple A bloat Who woulda thought a simplistic game would actually look so cool?

    Bello lo stile artistico, originale l'idea di giocare nei panni di un gatto.
    Passata la prima ora di gioco, ci si scontra però con un gameplay ripetitivo e noioso, che alterna fasi di esplorazione poco stimolanti a sezioni action ripetitive e poco profonde.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Auténtico juegazo. Tiene la mejor ambientación que he visto en mi vida, los robots pegan al 100% con la estética, etc... Obviamente no todo en el juego es perfecto; me he encontrado con algún que otro bug, a veces caían los frames (aunque esto creo que es por mi PS4 que está en las últimas), el movimiento del gato y de los robots a veces me resultaba poco pulido...
    Pero en general y obviando esos detalles, es un auténtico juegazo, no llega a obra maestra por poco, aunque si lo comparamos solamente con otros indies para mí es de los mejores. La verticalidad es espectacular en varios puntos del juego, la iluminación, el sonido. Los numerosos recovecos... Es espectacular.
    Sin embargo y como dije antes, algunas cosas no me dejaron del todo buen sabor de boca. Por ejemplo, la última ciudad, con tanto edificio alto, me pareció que no tenía la verticalidad que debería, al contrario de los suburbios, que ahí sí que nos encontramos con una verticalidad excelente. Además, eché en falta algún que otro recoveco más, algún coleccionable extra, más habitaciones ocultas... Pero ojo, que eso no significa que ande falto de todo esto que acabo de mencionar. Lo que pasa es que cuando estás ante un juego tan pulido a veces le exiges más de la cuenta, y cuando no puedes entrar en tal sitio porque la puerta no se abre, o escalas a un tejado alto y no hay nada especialmente importante, pues te decepciona un poco. En realidad esto que menciono me ha pasado en muy pocas ocasiones, y no es que me decepcione en realidad.
    Esto se relaciona también con el sistema de saltos y movimiento. En general me ha molado mucho controlar al gatete, se sentía muy bien, sin embargo, y como mencionan por ahí en otra review, me hubiese gustado poder saltar a donde quisiese, tener más libertad de movimiento, pero entiendo que al ser un indie, les seria mucho más complicado y daría pie a más Bugs, además de que por la naturaleza del juego (al ser más o menos lineal) pues decidieran ''scriptear" un poco los saltos (y aún así saltar de un sitio pa otro mola mucho).
    SPOILER DEL FINAL A CONTINUACIÓN:
    El contexto y el Lore del juego me fascinaron, todo este tipo de juegos post apocalipticos tienen algo que me enamoran. Sin embargo la escena final me dejó un poco frío, me hubiese gustado que abriesen más el plano para ver con claridad el estado del mundo exterior, o haber obtenido más información sobre la pandemia, pero vaya, esto es totalmente subjetivo al tratarse de mis gustos personales sobre la historia.

    Sin embargo y a pesar de que haya mencionado varias cosas no tan buenas del juego, las cosas buenas que tiene sobresalen infinitamente, es un must en toda regla, el cual se ha colado en mi top 10 (quizás top 5) de todos los tiempos. RESUMEN:

    Для меня пока лучшая игра года, после работы придти и расслабиться в ней самое то!
    Игра не сложная, но думать немного придётся, думаю с ней справиться ребёнок лет 10+ (если конечно учиться хорошо :)) )
    Графика меня порадовала и оптимизация тоже, котик очень плавный и милый. Ну и самое главное, тут можно мяукать на кнопку О и точить коготки. 10/10    Для меня пока лучшая игра года, после работы придти и расслабиться в ней самое то!

    Stray is a nice game, very short (4-5 hours) with a beautiful aesthetic. Unfortunately it is not very replayable, the interactions are very limited (you can only jump in certain parts that the game tells you) and the entry price ($30 USD) is too high for what is advertised.
    And for anyone wondering Stray isn't a game of the year candidate, but it's not a bad game, it's just...good.

    What a little gem of a game this is. Small French developers Blue Twelve have done a fantastic job here, the cat is amazingly lifelike, the robots are so well portrayed and emotive, and the dystopian world they inhabit is so immersive and well realised. This is not a difficult game but it is an absolute joy to play, it is beautiful and not just to look at.

    In my opinion it was fun being a cat in a very atmospheric world, with a decent story. The only issue for me is that it get´s old pretty quickly, and I found that you actually had very little to do. I think there´s way too few actual game mechanics to make this a good game. It´s sad really. It´s a cat platformer, where you can jumb, run and meow.

In my opinion it’s one of the best games I’ve played, while yeah probably I ain’t the guy that plays Final Fantasy or COD I enjoy games, but this one was just wonderful, amazing. Not only because there are cats included (which gives bonus points in my scale) but the gameplay is a breath of fresh airWell first of all I’d like to thank the creators of this beautiful experience of a game.     I loved the game and I would rate it 10/10 if it wasn't for the occasional frame drop on PS4, which is what i played it on. I think had i played it on PS5 it would be a solid 10/10. The story is intriguing, it keeps you glued to the screen. Graphics are insane. The portrayal of the cat was just exceptional, it's just so authentic; the movement of the cat was so realistic and all the non-story necessary actions like scratching on carpets, sofas, and curtains, running on keyboards, knocking things off shelves and high areas, and rubbing up against the robots made the portrayal and playing as the cat so believable. The gameplay is just so much fun, I especially love the platforming and puzzle solving elements of the gameplay and I loved how little direction you're given so you have to explore and find clues a lot to figure out what your next step is. The world design is outstanding, I love how detailed the cities are and how each time you circle the cities you find new things to look at. The visuals are so beautiful animated especially the cat and the robots. The writing is excellent especially the story, which was fun, cute, beautiful, powerful, and touching, and the characterization of the robots which made them very personable NPCs. The soundtrack is superb and love the unique sound and heavy use of synth. The sound design was excellent. An A+ video game.… Expand

    Stray was a pleasant surprise. Loved the sci-fi dystopia atmosphere. The detail in the world was impressive for an indie game. Really enjoyed the uniqueness of playing a cat and helping robots out. The tone of the game was refreshing and I like how the gameplay was focused on something other than combat like most games nowadays.

    This is a very good game, from my point of view. Apart from the cool fact that the main character is a cat, gameplay and graphics are well-achieved. Above all, it is story-wise and has an idiosyncratic atmosphere. This is definitely worth playing.

    From one side - pleasent atmosphere, beautiful graphic even on PS4, some interesting moments in the story and in the gameplay. From the other side - in general almost all aspects of the game are medium or below: the story itself, the game mechanics, the wick characters and etc. The thing which was annoing me the whloe game - B12's voice,    I felt very strange during playing this game.

    Есть в игре головоломки на уровне 5го класса школы. Вообще игра больше подойдёт для детей 8 -12 лет.
    Хорошо, что Sony додумалась включить её в пакет PS Plus Extra. Просто платить за неё 2500 рублей я бы не стал. А так игра себя полностью оправдывает.
    Советую всем подписчикам PS Plus Extra, проведите 3 - 4 часа с удовольствием, к тому же бесплатно!    … Expand

    Conclusão: O jogo em si é mt simples mas bem divertido, não vejo o fato dele ter uma campanha curta como ponto negativo, acho que a experiencia durou o suficiente, recomendo para quem busca um game diferente pra dar uma relaxada.

    Поставил 8, но на самом деле это скорее 7.5. Не буду расписывать достоинства игры - кота, киберпанк, роботов и тд, скажу скорее о недостатках. Игра, при всех своих плюсах, лишена самого главного - интересного геймплея. При том, что играешь за кота, нельзя просто прыгать по локациям, только в определенных местах по нажатии "х" кот примагничивается к поверхности, упасть ниоткуда тоже нельзя.Поставил 8, но на самом деле это скорее 7.5. Не буду расписывать достоинства игры - кота, киберпанк, роботов и тд, скажу скорее о недостатках. Игра, при всех своих плюсах, лишена самого главного - интересного геймплея. При том, что играешь за кота, нельзя просто прыгать по локациям, только в определенных местах по нажатии "х" кот примагничивается к поверхности, упасть ниоткуда тоже нельзя. Механики типа мяуканья или точения когтей о поверхности реально нужны пару раз за игру, в остальном бесполезны и использовать их нужно только для получения соответствующих трофеев. Сюжет достаточно интересный, чтобы пройти игру с интересом, но ему не хватает оригинальности и глубины, все лежит на поверхности и становится полностью понятно за одно прохождение. В целом игра не шедевр и не совсем заслуживает такого хайпа, тем не менее сейчас не так часто выходят качественный одиночные, короткие и душевные игры, поэтому Stray хочется простить все недочеты за ее ламповость и пушистого котика (все таки насколько нечестный ход со стороны разработчиков сделать кота главным героем - сразу подкупает игроков и заставляет садиться за игру). Поэтому однозначно советую с игрой ознакомиться, она того стоит. Ах да, еще в игре очень крутой саундтрек, я теперь под него работаю.… Expand

    There are so many good ideas here! The plot is very interesting, the dialogues are well written and the two main characters are amazing.
    The art direction does an amazing job to create this world. The places are lived, they tell a story.
    Minor mistakes like some clumsy controls cant affect my thoughts that this game is one of the best indies ver made!

For me the thing that doesn't make this a perfect game is really anything to do with the zurks.     I've played a lot of games that purport to be Cyberpunk, and only a handful of them feel like a retro futuristic experience. Stray is one of them. A chill game, just enjoy it, solve some puzzles on the roof, run and don't let rot catch you. Small steps in a future to which we humans no longer belong. You are constantly invaded by melancholy    A graphic adventure of the new age.

    This game is all about exploration and a little of straightforward puzzles. Well you play as a cat so the world doesn't feels small but it's actually a very small world which is why the game can be beaten even less than 5 hours or in one sitting of gaming session.

    "Don't value game base on its length" That's what people said. But let me tell one simple fact behind the game length, the amount of time you need to beat a game is also a reflection of how many content or activities that you can do in the game.

    Yes, Annapurna manage to create a good looking/ graphic and fluid animation for the cat but Stray completely feels lifeless and it's way too linear for a game that focus on exploration. You don't even have to play the game, just watch it on Youtube and you can completely get the same experience as playing it. Problem with gaming nowadays, good graphic = good game. If that the case, I believe all games out there are considered good and games like minecraft probably feels like crap for them.

    Well, can't say anything other than generic and basic game that doesn't even deserve 23-25$. And the spot for GOTY 2022 is completely nonsense. Give that to other game like Kirby, Splatoon 3, Gran Turismo 7, and other games that feels like a game.    … Expand

    Such a beautiful game. The cat, the graphics, the world, the story, the messages that the writers try to share hit home without being preachy or annoying. I had a great time playing this game and even though i just finished it 5 minutes ago, i already know i am going to play it again. And again. It is one of those rare times when i feel happy that i did not find all the collectibles, allSuch a beautiful game.     Stray es un buen juego de historia lineal y con un enfoque diferente a lo que hemos visto antes, poniendo a un michi de protagonista sin duda la historia es buena y la jugabilidad igual, para cualquier amante de los gatos será un viaje increíble, lo recomiendo gratamente.

    I not gonna lie, the first time thia game got a trailer I was hyped up, and when I got to play it, it wasn't a disappointment at all, the game is short but I feel as like, if the game was longer it wouldn't be as great. Plus, it is a cat with a backpack and there is a button to meow.

    The visual language and the lore is superb, lots of attention to details. Same goes for the Cat Feel™ (though whenever the cat's mouth moves it looks obviously fake, but I imagine rigging that would be impossible) - the animation, the footsteps (or beansteps, I suppose), it feels awesome to just be jumping around. And I feel like the story (despite being "insert cyberpunk here") is as long as it needs to be. I also liked how they do lean into the cat nature of the protagonist for some of the puzzles

    The stuff that should have been done better:
    Introduce your threats properly. First off, Zurks. Show use why they're dangerous and what consequences are for not treating the threat seriously, don't just go from 0 to "run away to not die" without establishing anything! And shaking them off feels weird, cats don't just stand there doing nothing when attacked, they scratch, they kick, they jump, it really feels fake even by videogame standards. Just mash Circle to do.. what, exactly? Oh, I guess one fell off now. Yay?
    Secondly, the sentinels. It makes sense that a game with a cat protagonist would have a stealth mechanic, but again, this is not introduced, you just walk into a new area, and there we go, one of them is roaming around with something that looks like a visibility cone and we (and the cat) are supposed to figure out that those things will track and shoot you. I've had this strange situation where I stumbled my way through those without being spotted up until the moment you have to lure them into prison cells, but even then I didn't manage to trigger their "we're gonna shoot you now" state, so I've done a pretty much perfect stealth run and then the game throws one of those cinematic chase sequences where it was the first time I saw them in the "gonna shoot you" state. Yes they do shoot you at the end of the previous chapter but you survive that encounter, so I don't count that as the game doing a proper introduction.
    This is all fixable stuff and something that I feel like should be combat design 101 - teach the players what the threat is, how to avoid it and what the consequences of failure are. This isn't a trial and error game, we shouldn't be blindsided by death traps.

    A good linear game with an interesting plot, at the end you feel that this is not the end. Very little playing time. Finished the game in two sittings.

    Boring cat simulator. Though i can say the graphics and world look nice at least mean this might be nice and relaxing for some people but as someone who already has a friend with cats not for me
