You can still obviously tell this was a PS2 game and the gameplay has gone completely unchanged. As a result, those looking for a supped up version are likely to be disappointed. However those looking to experience the game or the first time or revisit it with some extra PS4 goodies, then this will be a steal at the price of $9.99.

    One of the things that struck me most about the game is it's story. It's just fantastic. It really does a fantastic job of fleshing out the Jango Fett character. We get to see the origin of his relationship with Zam Wesell, how he acquired his legendary ship the Slave I, and how he literally became the face of the clone army. All the while there is this original plot going on with it's own unique characters and locations. Every character is brought to life by fantastic writing and an incredibly talented voice cast that features actors from the movies in returning roles.

    The gameplay side of things holds up just as well. From his dual blasters right down to the jetpack, flamethrower and everything in between, you'll get your hands on Jango's entire arsenal. Part third-person action-adventure and part bounty hunter life-simulator, going around the galaxy and blasting anyone foolish enough to stand between you and your target really does sell the feeling of being the baddest bounty hunter there is.

    The levels themselves range from larger exploration levels to frantic combat mayhem zones. Regardless of which kind you're playing the game stays fresh throughout and makes great use of everything it gives you. This allows you to approach situations anyway you see fit. The best part is that it offers a healthy challenge for you across it's 18 levels. Occasionally the game's tendency to swarm you with enemies as you enter a larger, but still confined, area is irritating, but it's never anything the game doesn't give you the tools to deal with. Just know it's going to give you a nice fight to the finish.

    Now these are some pretty huge levels. I haven't seen level design like this in years. Now perhaps their layout isn't always the most intuitive, but it hard to deny how and organic they feel. You may get lost, but it's not that bad considering how alive these worlds feel. The biggest issue I have with the level design are the number of instant death pits there are. Most of deaths actually didn't come from the enemies, but from making and mistake a falling to my death. When the game dives into jetpack-centric platforming it can get a bit frustrating. It's limited, but thankfully recharging, fuel supply leaves little room for error at times.

    It can't praise this title enough for how well it's aged. The controls are spot-on and the approach is great. Yes, enemy AI is a bit iffy at times and the occasionally obscure path to your objective is a sign of this games time, but I never felt like I was playing some outdated action game. The only aspect of it's age that really bothered me was it's life system. There are checkpoints, but you only get 5 continues before it sends you back to the beginning of the level. It can kind of suck to get sent all the way back to the beginning when you mess up on new sections and run out of lives. Yet, it's not too bad of an issue given the relative brevity of the game's levels.

    There are also some bonus objectives to tackle here in the form of side bounties to hunt down. You have to scan them out yourself and bring them is dead or alive based on the contract. This is probably the most flawed aspect of the game given that mistakes can be made in a crowd of enemies that ends up with you losing your target. Especially given the game's lock-on system. As a result I ditched this diversion early on because it was just too much effort for what seemed to be a worthless reward; credits. I once even witnessed one of my bounties walk off of a cliff. I'm not kidding.

    So yeah, the game has got it's issues. However none of that stopped my enjoyment of it. It's a slick, cool, and remarkably well-aged action-adventure title. One with great content and a satisfyingly challenging level of difficulty. It also does a wonderful job of expanding upon one of the Star Wars series coolest characters that I feel wasn't done justice in the film(s). All around I consider a must play for hardcore Star Wars fans. It's just hard to not recommend taking a chance to experience the thrills of living the life of a ruthless bounty hunter, especially when it's one of the coolest in the Star Wars fiction.

    And it was a 10 for sure when it launched but I barely playd it then...
    ***This game would be amazing if they made a sequel... The 'Bounty Hunting/wanted' side quest HAS SOOOO MUCH POTENTIAL!!!!
    ***Totally reminds me of what 'Prey2' was going to be before it got cancelled for the garbage Prey we recently got...Actually they are only the same in name only...…
    Prey2 was going to have a BountyHunter/wanted scanner system probably 100% inspired from this game...You scan people in a crowd if you have the patience and can/areWilling to follow and if said dude is wanted then you can subdue them...
    ~~Remember how much fun MetalGearSolid Nonlethal takedowns are because as gamers we loooooooooove the gameplay concept of subdue and use to improve our base or skills or whatevs…..
    Would you rather kill the bad guy for 100 credits or subdue for 25 credits that repeats every day etc...this is like the basic concept of the dishonest/greedy freemium BS but it could work in a non micro transaction kind of way...

    ****SW Bounty HunterTHE GAME****
    does show it's age but so what.. it's a fun 2-3 session game on the old school style of linear levels with a boss at the end..think of 'Acts' instead of levels...
    And you have the aweome Jetpack that allows flying for a few seconds & you get good at it as you master it...like Gliding in The Batman Arkham Games...
    You learn to fly high so you can spam the fly button and get more distance...
    and there's hidden gems & PSN added achievments!!! whaaaa!!! epic if you care about that
    fake clout nonsense...
    IMO achievments are only good for when you're all but done w/ a game you mastered but want more & don't wanna put it down but are out of content...replaying for achievments makes sense there...BUT not when Millenials use it to flex Big Johnson cause of their uber PSN scores...
    meaningless in todays era of achievments for just inserting the game & saving the game...

    ***StarWars BountyHunter got the FULL treatment from ILM(Insustrial Light & Magic)
    back when StarWars Gaming had integrity...
    And the sound is a perk...it's complete..
    *Trevor Morrison(sp) gets a A+ for caring soooo much about this franchise...
    He never turns down a role w/ Jango.. and that commands respect & appreciation 4 sure.....

    I bought this in starwars bundle that gave me this,,,StarWars Jedi Starfighter & SUperSW..
    Jedi STarfighter is another hidden gem..
    You play Adi Galia & fly that awesome ship ObiWan flew in Episode2 when he was chasing JangoFett….
    That triangle ship looks 100X's better then the weird one they used in Ep3....

    The game is awesome but does show it's age..
    If you can disregard the age then put on you're good headphones or whatever soundbar w/ uber bass ya got cause the SW soundtrack was FACT uber high quality...
    ****FYI~ The audio tech of 15 years ago was still very advanced if developers had the budget...
    and ILM used the legendary ' Jeremy Soule ' (I think) to do this game.....
    He did all SW AAA games back then that had he budget...
    im pretty sure Jeremy did the amazing audio job on that Original legendary surprise hit Podracing game...….
