I bought this game after reading positive reviews on Reddit. i was intrigued with the premise of playing PSVR game and getting a full cardio workout. i only played through tutorials but I can already confirm that this game will challenge you physically. I started sweating just ten minutes into the game. There is a LOT of hand movements required in this game. I am also excited about online racing mode with seven PSVR users. This is why I love PSVR because PSVR allows me to enjoy video games without sitting on the couch all day long. I recommend this game. There is a lot of content in the game. Very good selection of tracks, several characters to choose from. Graphics are nice on PS4 Pro. This is another great game from the same studio that brought us Raw Data. Expand

Not only is this one of my top 5 VR games, it’s one of my favorite racing games ever made. If you own a VR headset and are cool with a little workout, Sprint Vector is a must buy. Expand

Easily one of the best PSVR games to date, Sprint Vector is just pure fun. There's a real sense of immersion and though the full range of controls takes a little getting used to, once you have it down you'll be flying around around the tracks with ease. It's a total blast!

Sprint Vector is a winner for me. Unlike some other VR-sports games, this game has fairly good AI competitors to assist you with learning the basics. I'm still working out the basics since there are a lot of button/movement combos that you need to master to just get through some courses. Graphically, well it's a PSVR game, don't expect much here. It's bright and colorful, and you'll be too busy swinging your arms to notice the lack of detail.

But in a nutshell here's what its like: it's like standing on a skateboard or chair with wheels and you can't use your feet, you have to push and turn yourself with your hands, like using ski poles, instead. While pushing yourself along with your hands, you must also jump, drift, "fly", etc using your hands. And if you're not in shape, the first few sessions are going to hurt later on. Now add weapons, power-ups, etc. It gets pretty hectic to say the least. Multiple routes in each course allow you to finish the basic way, or the advanced way. Although I still find myself stuck in corners from time to time as turning your sprinter is a little awkward.

So why not a 10? Voice acting. Imagine an annoying futuristic wealthy-brat versus tv host robot. It's not a good combo and gets old fast. Also, mastering the more advanced button/movement combos could take a while. And like I mentioned, the graphics are a tad underwhelming. But overall, a fun PSVR experience.

    Hells bells no!

Could not even get through the tutorial portion of the game after more than a half hour of struggling. I hit the wall at the wall and found the climbing mechanic exceptionally difficult and tricky - flick here, click there and do it at the right time and angle!? Kind of completely demolishes what would have been an excellent running mechanic. When you hit the wall, it

When you hit the wall, it should be from sweat and hard work, not because of a wonky jump mechanic. I deleted this the same day i downloaded it.

Even the offline AI can't dampen the sheer sweaty joy of Sprint Vector's handling. Speed, frantic movement and not a moment of motion sickness, Sprint Vector is a landmark release. [Apr 2018, p.97]

If you have PSVR and are looking for a racing game that captures the playful spirit of the Mario Kart games but will also make you work for that sweet taste of victory, then definitely give Sprint Vector a look.
