    Avoid like Covid! Everything this game presents itself as it's not. It looks like a high speed, precision, platformer. However in the devs attempt to make it difficult. They just cut corners and put out another broken indy game. Almost nothing works correctly in this pile of steaming trash. Even attempting to jump on an enemies head mario style is 50/50 at best. It will either work orAvoid like Covid! Everything this game presents itself as it's not. It looks like a high speed, precision, platformer. However in the devs attempt to make it difficult. It will either work or you'll die. The hit detection is laughably bad. The games input lag is terrible. Even with your controller plugged in and game mode on. 90% of your deaths are not your fault. Sometimes the game will start your character in a spot where as soon as you move you'll die. The Pumpqueen boss is a enragingly random, cheap fight. Even though she has a pattern. There's random tentacles and pumpkins and pumpkin people that will just simply kill you. You usually can't even do anything about it. Even when you beat any stage or boss in this game.There's is no satisfaction because it's almost completely luck based. The game basically decides if you die or not most times. This is why independent games get a bad wrap. Lazy cash grabbing devs. Shame on them. Sony shouldn't allow QUByte Interactive to sell their shovel ware. Update. So i beat the Pumpqueen and the game locked my character off to the side of the screen so i can't move or finish the game. No way to fix it either. Garbage!… Expand

    Spooky Chase manages to execute on a fairly clever premise. The unpredictable nature of the game helps deliver something easy to grasp but potentially tricky to accomplish. The bonus items give you reason to persevere and return. There's not much on the periphery but it is mechanically intriguing and worth a look.
