    With SGW 3 is like with Alfa Romeo. Buggy as hell but still everyone wants it. It's really good game! Pitty that reviewers smash it just because of bugs. It's small develoeper after all! Give it a chance.

    I prefer to play interesting but buggy gameplay, rather than well polished boring, linear game.

    Get it very cheap. Some quick notes. Game came out, looked like crap on console. Ps4 pro patch some time later, now looks great. Climbing mechanics feel clunky. This game is just Farcry. Middle chunk of game was great. Ending was painfully disappointing. Story is from the pages of cliche. No creative twists. Odd. Game play loop feels good. Thats about it. Recommend this game at $15 or less.

    i don't know why it only has a metascore of 56 it feels almost as good as the average triple - A game and was maby as fun as call of duty.
    As we know city interactive didn't brought many good games however they are learning

    city interactive brought there best game yet ( i guess ) with great gameplay and great open world , but the technical issues are to big to speak as a must have , if they don't fix this then i don't see a bright future for this game

    This is an older game but I wanted to review it now so if like me you decide to buy it you'll have an idea of what you're in for.

    second and most frustratingly the game has no replay ability, once you complete a mission it's gone for good which is made all the more irksome because of the poor game design.

    For example, one mission with a Target objective I accidentally sniped from far away just trying to get a long shot... the mission instantly ended with red x of no other objectives completed. I didn't even realize it was the target but City Interactive decided to not only overwrite your save immediately with no warning, they also give you no other save slots and you can not replay the mission, or CHOOSE to save or not save yourself... this is frustrating especially when they know you haven't completed all or even any other objectives which you will NEVER be about to do on this playthrough once it auto saves... terrible terrible game design.

    Finally there are many minor annoyances NPC may fail to path or ignore lures thankfully this is seldom, swapped/dropped items may disappear into the ground never to be seen again, and while there is driving in this game, ALL vehicles are decorative and locked... while I understand making many drivable vehicles would be a big task... they simply could have put the ONE truck they give you on the different lots randomly with a color swap... I don't care, I'd just like to jump in a vehicle and go.

    Overall you can have some fun with this game if you get it for cheap with a deep discount, other than that it's been a frustrating experience.    … Expand

    For some reason the designers of the Ghost Warrior series persist in turning out questionable games. The latest iteration in the series is for my money actually less enjoyable than the second game. Perhaps the biggest shortcoming is the weird game physics. Things just don't work as you would expect them to do. Weapons handling is erratic and inconsistent. The open world model often leave you wasting time unnecessarily wandering from place to place which is far from exciting.

    On the upside sniping sequences can be enjoyable and the kill shots are fun.

    That said there are other games who do this too and are more polished affairs. The enjoyable moments in this game are hamstrung by its not inconspicuous shortcomings leaving a title I'd be inclined to pass over in favour of other games in a similar vein.    … Expand

    Despite the game being called sniper, this isn’t a sniper simulator…
    The words ghost and warrior hint at options… and that’s exactly what you get here
    This is an open world game with a base that you use to buy new weapons you unclock from completing missions or picking up off of enemies, as well as buy ammo and gear and choose your next mission…
    But this open world isn’t vast, it isn’t connected…
    it just exists…
    it’s a world to put missions into and nothing else..
    You have a buggy to drive around, but there are no other vehicles on the road and the ones off road are all locked…
    There are points of interest around the map though if you are into the ubisoft style clean up…
    Or you can stick to the 11 hour campaign
    The campaign is fun to get through, and challenging…
    Its satisfying scoping out the place with your drone, sniping out enemies from a distance and then going in for the objective, or being a ghost, sneaking in, taking enemues out silently while you try not to alert anyone or be caught on camera.. and then theres the warrior option of just going in guns blazing…
    There are mandatory do not get detection sections of the game, but for the most part.. youre free to tackle a mission any way youd like..
    You can even mix your play style up like I did…
    This means youre going to be unlocking perks in all 3 skill trees for sniper ghost and warrior, but if you prefer one play style then that means of course youll be more decked out for that style with the skill tree..
    Missions are what youd expect…
    Get a point on the map to go to and complete the objective.. nothing more..
    And despite the missions structure being the same throughout, the missions all felt unique thanks to the great level design this game has…
    The game felt fresh throughout…
    However the performance of this game brings all of the great parts down…
    For starts the load times…
    Theyre painful…
    Some missions take place on different sections of the map.. and to get to these sectiosn you have to deal with the games initial load screen..
    Which is 4 minutes long, I wish I was kidding, but the load time for this game is longer than this review…
    Its painful…
    The game also froze trying to load in 2 times….
    And the game would freeze and crash mid shot probably 3 or 4 times….
    its just not reliable…
    and its only made worse by again the 4 minute load time to get back into the game and the fact that checkpoints in missions are so awful…
    Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is enjoyable,
    The calculating, the scouting, the turning the dials of your scope to adjust to a targets distance..
    All of this makes the campaign so satisfying to get through…
    But the freezes, the crashes, the load times…
    Theyre going to annoy… so be prepared…

    I love sniper games! And this game is awesome!!
    Graphic is Awesome , Music is nice! And vary important things for each game is story and offline mode! This game has best story - offline mode and i love it !

    I don't understand these 5 and below scores. I agree the game is not pretty(I am playing on a day one ps4 with original hdd) I liken it to the ps4 version of Skyrim, which if you can play that this game shouldn't be a problem. The sniping and open world setting are amazing for choices. I have yet to run into a crash or frame rate dip, so maybe I am lucky but none of the technical problemsI don't understand these 5 and below scores.     It's not perfect and it has it's bugs but it is decent to play. The first person perspective lends itself nice to sniping and I do enjoy the feel of it more than something like Sniper Elite (which is still good in its own right). Most of my complaints are towards bugs that I think can be patched out such as collision issues and I did fall through the game world once. I haven't seen any AI glitches in my 7 hours in and while they aren't breaking new ground they are serviceable enough. I can say there is a nice satisfaction from seeing a gaping glory hole in an enemies head from pulling off a good headshot though. If you catch this on sale then definitely give it a look if you're interested just keep your expectations in check, this isn't competing with Battlefield or Call of Duty.… Expand

    Having an absolute blast with this game! Technically speaking - it's got its bugs and optimization issues, but NONE of that has stopped me from having an incredible time playing this game. The guns feel great, the environments are really awesome and interesting to look around, it borrows plenty of the 'better' ideas from other great games and I'm more than happy with that.     I am not understanding these low scores. I have been playing it for 3 hours and it is a blast. There are some buggy issues but I have noticed the same thing with several games in the past and they always offer a patch to fix them. Everyone needs to give it a chance. This game is intense and beautiful!

Loading time on PS4 is less than a minute - probably the long waiting times reffer to PC or this has been fixed allready. Don't understand why critics smashed it so hard.     Refreshing in the whole shooter franchise, where every game is the same! Great graphic, great side-quests! I loved the way this game ended. Awsome! Best of the trilogy!

The cons that I have personally found (PS4) include crashing, and it makes my console sound like it's ready for lift off at all times. It runs my system hard and that's not good. I can handle the bugs, wait for a patch, etc. as we are unfortunately accustomed to nowadays, but system performance is aWhile the graphics and ambition are very admirable, this game was not ready for release.     full of bug, low poly character, after kill an enermy with headshot, thier animation will be "dull", and when you walk close the the "headshot-ed" target, you will see surprise! sound like ci games try to copy alot from the other games(ghost recon, sniper elite,...) than make thier product have    i don't know what to say more, but i few lucky because i don't spend money on this trash!

    First off I don't think the game deserves a 10. That being said its more of a 7ish game, however I gave it a ten to offset the jackasses that are giving it a zero. If you are in to sniper games then this game is awesome. I am currently in act 4 and the only bad thing I can really say about this game is the freezing issue.     Giving nine due to the lack of multiplayer and some minor bugs. Graphics and sound effects are very very nice - in every aspect. The overall gaming experience is rather good, however I'm just at the beginning of the campaign.

I would not even be satisfied with this game if it came out on PS1. For the price that this game is selling for in AUS it is a massive rip off. I would not pay $10 for this game, it is that bad. I will be completely honest - this negative rating is a counter-attack to the fake reviews made by the developer. The game is probably 4/10, maybe 5/10 but what the studio behind the game is doing right now is absolutely 1/10. Shame.

City will not have my support for DLCs just for full 1000G is all I care about this bad game.

    City need to drop this Franchise in future and bringing better AAA games. They failed once again with this Franchise, Also SWG 3 is bit of Far Cry rip-off but way way worse than any games this generation.

    I don't usuals complaints but from look at this game is big messy just like Assassin's Creed: Unity and Homefront: The Revolution all over again as well all series of SWG too. :) :)    … Expand

    A buggy mess of a game. No idea where the 10/10 reviews come from other than the developers themselves. You are much better off playing Sniper Elite 4, it's still not a 10/10 but it's at least a functioning game. This is barely ready for Steam Early Access.

    la mecánica del disparo es perfecta creo q mejor q elite, ya q es lo q siempre buscaba y por primera ves lo encuentro, medir viendo distancia y tirar sin guía de punto rojo para saber donde va el disparo y acertar de verdad por calibración propia.
    (en elite aun me falta probarlo bien sin guía, pero creo q es imposible acertar al blanco 100% por mas q tomes las medidas q tengas q tomas del tiro, es como aleatorio por momentos.
    en cuanto a warrior, creo q es un 7.5 como minimo para cualquier pagina, lo analizan personas q se sentaron como yo a probar lo fundamental (el rifle de un francotirador) o de q trata sino? eso esta mas q perfecto y luego súmale el entorno q no esta para nada mal, no son los gráficos de mgs pero son super dignos, la IA es quizá como miles de juegos q tienen puntajes mejores, puede q le falte mas desplazamiento pero cumple su función, q si hay pocos vehículos, q es esto? no todo es un gta, tienes un auto y listo te mueves con ese, en tu vida real no subes a 5 autos en un dia, detalles menores q no me opacan la experiencia. en fin el juego no es malo para nada. tiene lo suyo para los q les interese ser un francotirador . saludos    … Expand

The AI is inconsistent, loading times are terribly long (can take up to 5 minutes or more to load into the game) low textures and texture pop in all through out the game, bland graphics (the first two look way better) bad draw distance, empty world, laughably bad crafting and looting elements, terrible parkour even the gunplay can be a chore. it's just a complete mess of a game. It feels like it should've been an early access title. It kind of reminds me of homefront the revolution. That game was near broken and terrible buggy at launch but later it got fixed up where it actually became fun and playable. I hope sniper ends up getting fixed up but even then it still would be a pretty mediocre game. Right now it's just a bad disappointing game. I can't recommend going to buy it especially not at $60. I can't really recommend it at all. Maybe if the developers work on fixing it's issues It could become better. Right now though it's just a bad game. 2/10    … Expand

    Then there is the long load times as mentioned before. Also the collecting of resources. This game does have the potential to be an excellent game. But people need to think before throwing something out on the market.    … Expand

    Gameplay is frustrating as in getting stuck on balconies or in rocks, mission replay points are painful and if you've played an hour you've done all of it, in a word "Boring" and let's not talk about the ridiculous number and size of patches!!

Way too many games that claims stealth yet force a gun fight. I am able to spend almost every mission from a distance popping off rounds through skulls and it is deeply gratifying.     1. The story is bland and dull. It's clearly aimed at 12 year old boys (lots of sexy female characters and cleavage shots) but every cut scene is just bleh. There's an ex girlfriend who was treated badly but falls into bed with you at the first apology. (Don't get too excited, it fades to black)
    2. Driving is AWFUL. I mean, utterly pointless. What's more there's no traffic at all - other than the occasional helicopter. This kills realism. The mechanics are dull, boring and just, well, did I mention boring?
    3. Most of the character models are the same. In one of the locations it was filled entirely with the same eastern-european bearded chap. I killed the same man 12 times. I bet he was pretty fed up with it at the end. The other models are all very similar too.
    4. Winery mission. Firstly, you have a winery high up in snowy mountains. Has anyone read about grapes and where they grow?! It ain't in the alps, kiddos. At the winery there are lots and lots of braziers glowing away in the middle of the fields. (Aha! I bet that's how they keep the grapes warm, eh?) And in the Winery itself, there's a woman model in a tight red dress wandering around outside without any context at all. You can't interact with her, there's no reason for her to be there. There's just this woman dressed for a high-end party somewhere tropical wandering around in the dark in a snowy mountain range.
    5. Later in the winery mission, you stash you weapons and as soon as you do this, MASSIVE headbob for no reason. I could take no more than five minutes of this before nausea came knocking and I had to stop, which was a relief, because the whole game was becoming annoying.
    6. The open world is boring. The same models are used over and over (random towers, for example). There's no reason for them to be there so why are they there? I found no interesting little corners that were a pleasant surprise (the sort of thing Farcry is full of), and even the points of interest are depressingly pointless. Points of uninsterest, really. "Oh wow, you freed some prisoners. Where did they go? What was the point of that?"
    7. I've yet to figure out the point of fast travel points. You get them when you encounter a signpost, unlocking that as a fast travel location, but you also get points. Why?
    8. The starting rifle is good enough for everything. Okay, you might want to upgrade the capacity, but that's about it. That and the pistol will take care of everything. The whole weapons-tier thing seems a waste of time when I can one-shot everything. (Okay, not playing at hard level, but there should still be a reason to upgrade)
    9. I can't run it fullscreen - it just crashes every time. (Very new Ryzon and Radeon, drivers up to date etc). You can play it windowed, but every now and then (usually when you're about to take an important shot) the window switches out of focus.

    In short, this is a lazy game. No attention to detail. Immersion is almost missing entirely (Apart from when you're zoomed in on the enemy, that bit's okay). Don't waste your time or money.    … Expand

Yes is buggy and i have some crashes , but the core game is great . i play all prives ghos warrior games and are gadbeges, first one was thrash 2/10 second was bad 4/10, but this one surprised me in a positive way . Seeing they got a lot bigger budget and it being open world I was excited to see what they were going to do. But it's Sniper 2 all over again. Terrible dialogue, outdated graphics, and a bad story. I will admit the combat was enjoyable. At least they got the sniping right. This is the bestNot a huge fan of the Sniper Ghost Warrior series, but I was willing to give this one a chance. Unfortunately, that's where the compliments end. This game is a mess and as someone who was hyped for this game, I'm sooo damn disappointed.. I didn't expect greatness, but at least release a game that runs well and is playable. Definitely wait for a ton of updates and a price drop before buying this game, or don't buy it at all.… Expand

    This is a great game. I love it. Does it deserve a 10? Of course not, but it also doesn't deserve a 6.3 or a below 60 Metascore. This is a fun game to play especially if you like shooters. You can pick a ton of different ways to go about doing each mission. The graphics are okay. Not great but nlt bad by any means. Overall, this game should be a 6.7-7.0.

    In this game we can quietly kill enemies with a sniper rifle or loudly barge in and kill all of the machine. Sniper gameplay I like, we need to calculate the distance to the target, but if hit in the head, pluchery slowmo when the bullet in slow motion pierces the skull of an enemy. Ballistics in the game are normal. Here, the weapons felt.
    The plot of the game is. Developers sometimes even try to present a drama or reveal the relationship of the protagonist and his girlfriend. But the game has no really interesting characters, and silently kill enemies from a sniper rifle or noisy machine can be in the same Far Cry. GHOST WARRIOR 3 loses creature Ubisof in all respects, and I just don't see the point to play GHOST WARRIOR 3, if you have Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. Even if you played these games, that GHOST WARRIOR 3 will be a poor substitute - you will quickly get bored. If you want to buy up to the 75% discount, it is not longer necessary.
    In addition to ballistics and sniper rifles I liked the animation. When the hero karapetsas, realistic touches, klogd edit in the car includes the ignition key and so on. The game has such nice things, but it's boring and not optimized.    … Expand

    What I like most is the game was BANNED in Russia.
    Gunnin for Russian soldiers apparently not funny for the regime...

    As for the gameplay and overall experience the physics is excellent, had a few glitches initially with textures but fixes solved that. Captivating.

I was getting a lot of crashes and freezes, but I deleted the game and reinstalled in full and it seems to have improved stability. So I am thinking maybe a initial corrupted download.

    Nice little arsenal of gadgets and nades to use to mix up the tactics. The drone gimmick is kind of a fun and cool to use to scout out the areas. The drone recall animation might look cool, but it takes time. So if a mortar attack is incoming or under small arms fire you can do nothing, but die which is annoying.

    The looting and crafting is just basic. I liked the fact I could now do non-linear non-scripted free roam activities in a SGW game. The mini open world is ok, but what never gets old is the slow motion sniper bullet camera. The bullet time camera gimmick is a fun hook for sure. This is a low production budget title for sure and I had more fun with it than I thought I would.

    SIDE OP MISSION NOTE: The "Bridge" mission forces the player into a long drive. Then a time wasting mountain climb. To a scripted tiny fixed snipe point. While providing cover for a scripted infiltration team mission. The checkpoint system is broke on this mission. So a alert fail is a complete redo. Yes all the way back to driving to climbing to sniping all over again. Do yourself a time saving favor and watch a walk through first maybe.    … Expand

    Put the game in hard mode and set out for a trilling hunt, take your time to scout the surroundings and you will have amazing fun.

    But be prepared and expect...
    Long times to load between "worlds"
    You will find bugs ... be sure of this ;-)
    But most of all, be prepared to have lots of fun with Sniper Ghost Warrior 3

I complete most games in about 3-5 days, maybe 7 if I try hard to drag em out, but for me personally, it seemed like even on the easiest difficulty, it still wasn't easy at all, maybe it's just me, no idea, but it I managed to drag the story out for about 2 weeks, thanks to the open world that had me searching for other guns or collectables.    … Expand

I usually prefer third person view on any game, but this is one of the few games where FPV stealth actually works.
    I would say this game differs from most FPV shooters and stealth games, you have freedom to execute missions in multiple ways. But, having said that, sniper/ghost/warrior approaches could’ve been emphasized more, maybe adding some challenges for replay value, which comes down to the negatives.

    Replay value is minimal, almost a year after launch, with patches, DLC and multiplayer, they still haven’t added at least second save slot. So many gadgets for different types of gameplay, grenades, traps, anti-personnel and -vehicle mines, but nothing to do with them (for example, I remember only a single enemy patrol truck in the whole game).
    Multiple launch bugs were probably the reason for initial reviews being so low. I must have come across every possible bug and borderline game breaking glitch on my first play-though, but enjoyed the game so much that they were manageable. Some minor bugs still exist after the patch.

    Would be a 10 game if it weren’t for the reasons mentioned above, so strong 9.

    I only briefly tried the multiplayer, bounty hunter mode seems ok if you’re into camp out sniping, second mode’s lobby had too long waiting time, third one crashed the game.

    At daytime I was able to get in to random quick matches, now later in the evening seems there are not enough players in multiplayer. 15-20 minutes in the lobby loading screen tells so.    … Expand

    I bought the third part on PS4 because I like stealth, sniper rifles, etc. I also bought because I heard that it is Polish game and I like to support my countrymen, but **** ... that part cannot be played (at least on PS4). It loads for hours and even if it were only after the game started, I would get over it, but it's the same when you start a mission again, e.g.

    you died. And I was totally discouraged by the fact that the game hangs up from time to time and it sometimes crashes so that then the PS4 had something with a 3-minute drive before it rises. I do not know which mission I came to, but unfortunately after 50 attempts I find that you can not go because it always hangs in the game.

    Especially for this game I changed the disk (I thought something was wrong with it and that's why it hangs and works so slowly) first on 2TB 7200rpm HDD - I thought it would be a little faster then on SSD but it is practically no difference.
    You start the game, order pizza by phone. Pizza arrives, you have time to eat it, drink it and at this moment the game has uploaded. :(

    This is basically a combination of Far Cry and Sniper Elite 4, except worse than both at everything and full of really basic bugs like not being able to switch to your pistol. Still worth $8 on sale

    Este juego no me gusto. La historia la siento mediocre ya que al principio si es interesante a medida que vas avanzando se pone muy aburrida. La jugabilidad no me gusto no es lo que yo esperaba. Lo único bueno que le doy es el diseño del mundo abierto ya que algunas zonas si me gustaron. De allí las misiones son aburridas. Los personajes no son nada entrañables y el juego en mi opinión noEste juego no me gusto.     Good, but could be better. The open world is very empty, and it doesn't do any good for the SGW. Feels like there was no time to polish it. Besides that, the sniping is satisfying, and you should get it on a deep sale.

    I finished playing the game. It amused me, the action part is very good. Artificial intelligence is a bit stupid. But I recommend.

    Nice music choices, Weapon variety, Enjoyable gameplay but a classic story and fps problems are the bad side of the game.

    Despite still being mired with an unhealthy assortment of technical hiccups and a paper thin narrative that feels like a rejected Call of Duty plot line, there is still fun to be mined out of Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 but it's entirely dependent on an individual's tolerance of the occasional glitch. Sure, it could have done with a lot more time in the oven, and even after a number of sizeable patches its litany of issues still make it a fairly tough recommendation, so it would be remiss not to slap a 'Buyer Beware' sticker on it. At its core, the sniping itself can be pretty satisfying, and Georgia makes for an interesting, if sparse, playground but, ultimately, this isn't really enough to carry the game over the constant threat of unexpected setbacks and, as such, it's unlikely to win over non-fans of the series when there are much slicker alternatives available.

    While Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 may be the ultimate modern sniping experience, it also offers a clear sign that sniping games may soon go the way of flight simulators, in that it’s only possible to make engaging ones set before technology makes the human factor obsolete. One unlockable in the arsenal are ‘DARPA bullets’, which are prototype in-flight auto-correcting projectiles — and yes, they’re real. Simply point a laser at a target and the bullet strikes it dead-on, every time. The player isn’t forced to use these bullets, of course, but as technology barrels forward, the concept of a man in a ghillie suit crawling through brush with a rifle strapped to his back is going to feel anachronistic, and will likely survive only as nostalgic looks back at the history of violence.
