Given more effort and time from the devs, even for a Soulsesque title, this could have been a winner, but its potential is ultimately adumbrated by its egregious ignoring of critical details. A future patch could improve things, but right now, the biggest sin in this game is not to be found by any of its unfair Alighierian bosses; the sinner is not even you, as Adam or the player yourself; the biggest sin is in this game's hurried, unpolished execution.

Sinner is a boss slashing/boss rush game. Inspired by some of the best game already in the market and religion. It take all the good point and make it in a little good game. It's a dark soul-like, every mistake is a punishment. Boss are memorable and have special fight mechanics. It's not an hard game at all, 6 hr and it's done. So why everyone think it's a hard game? Because everytime you kill a boss you'll do a sacrifice, that mean you'll get a malus, like less damage, less defence etc. And you'll keep these malus the entire game.

This game have some good idea, but too short.

Hey guys, just go play dark souls again, it'd be more worth your time then this. The boss design is the only thing i can compliment about this game, but everything else from the combat to graphics and story just lack. the background is always a blurry mess and the controls seem kind of unresponsive times. My biggest gripe with the game is how the aim system and camera works, you have 0Hey guys, just go play dark souls again, it'd be more worth your time then this. My biggest gripe with the game is how the aim system and camera works, you have 0 control of the camera at all times, even when not locked on, and your character wont swing at what your locked onto unless you manually turn around at the enemy. For certain bosses the camera needs to be better, for the greed boss fight I didn't know there was an OFF SCREEN HOUSE that you can rest on to avoid getting poisoned, i only discovered this when trying to throw myself off the map, and apparently that house is detrimental to the fight, thank god its off screen though. its a shame to see a good concept go to such waste. Sinner is basicly all the good bosses from Dark Souls and Bloodborne, without the grinding and with a tactical underlayer. The game will challenge you and your choices. It's a good new and interesting indiegame worth giving a shot!

This game has cool looking bosses but thats about the only compliment i can give it. Everything else you can think of in this game is just meh or borderline garbage.

Wow what a piece of garbage is this game. Just like every chineze product this game is just as fake and bad as it could be. Horrible camera, horrible controlers, And dont get me started on the parry. This game was made by amateurs for a quick cash grab. Believe me you dont even want to bother trying this buggy game not even worth a penny.

Pretty good little indie soulslike/boss rush with nice graphics. There are 8 bosses and 2 hidden bosses and the level-down mechanic is quite clever and original. Some of the bosses were good and provided a decent challenge, but mostly the game felt a little bland and heartless. Many of the bosses were also way too easy. The vague story failed to grasp my attention. Got this on sale forPretty good little indie soulslike/boss rush with nice graphics. There is big problem with one of the most inportant things in this kind of games - dodging. 1. Rolling is very unintuitive often it even looks like lagging. 2. Even if you make “successful” roll, a lot of meele attacks from enemies just changes theyr direction mid animation to follow you where you rolled, so you still get hit. Utill that is fixed cant really reccomend

Sinner is totally anonymous from the point of view of the lore and "is inspired" excessively to the design of the most famous bosses of the soulsborne saga.

Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption is an ambitious game that brings something new to an increasingly popular style of action game.

Not only is Sinner: Sacrifice for Redemption a shameless rip-off of the Souls series, it also manages to be a downright irritating game with very little payoff. Unless you want to show off your boss fighting skills on Twitch or something, I suggest avoiding this game entirely.
