    Singstar wants to be karaoke for PS4 but with its very limited song list on the disk and a huge paid DLC library, you would do best to find a different karaoke solution. Think YouTube.

    SingStar used to be a tremendously fun party game way back on the PlayStation 2, and I still have some fond memories of the PlayStation 3 incarnations. SingStar was a beast, but the lack of backwards functionality, latency issues and a rather generic song list is no way to “celebrate” what made SingStar so great back in the day.

    If you're looking for an accessible karaoke, and you're happy with a selection of popular songs, this is your game. If you're looking for a deeper title or a more innovative one, this isn't your game.
