    Scram Kitty DX is a platformer/shooter hybrid in which the player traverses the levels by riding rails along the walls. The goal of each level is to rescue (collect) a set number of cats in order to unlock subsequent levels.

Early on in particular I found myself missing jump after jump, to the point that the whole experience became very frustrating, and the fact that the game ratchets up the difficulty very quickly just added to this frustration.

    Having read some good reviews I decided to persevere and did began to get a slightly better handle on the controls. It soon became apparent however that there is little real variety from level to level and this, alongside the difficulty, meant I lost all interest in playing any further...    … Expand

    There is just too much happening not to have some fun for a while. It is a cool, visually-appealing game that definitely will entertain you – and at times enrage you. Its level of polish, including the funky music soundtrack, is outstanding. Just know that this is a smaller, casual game, and you will start to find the sameness a bit tedious after a while.
