May 22, 2019One of the best games that I have ever played on PS4. The story was very intriguing and made me want to play a lot more. I was satisfied with all the endings but i wouldn't mind a continuation of the same game and building more depth into the endings.

Apr 25, 2017Extremely forgettable game with some of the worst mechanics I've ever seen.
There is no point in having "Max Mode" and the dialogue is pretty terrible as well.
There are multiple endings, but I stopped after the first playthrough. There's nothing fun about it that makes you want to keep playing like in 999. -

Feb 6, 2017Proving too slow-paced and repetitive for its own good, Root Letter fails to seal the deal on its promising set-up, though it may yet pave the way for improved Kadokawa mysteries to come.

Jan 17, 2017Root Letter is an intriguing title with an interesting story that manages to stay engaging throughout. Although a couple of weird Japanisms occasionally get in the way, I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys visual novels and detective games.

Dec 23, 2016A unique style and intriguing storyline unfortunately aren't enough to make up for the title's lack of interactivity and overall boring gameplay.
