    I can guarantee many of these negative reviews are simply band wagoners or haven’t even played the game. While the game is short, what is there IS amazing. I’d rather play a really great 5 hour game to a less stellar 30 hour game. If you enjoyed the RE2 remake you’re pretty much guaranteed to enjoy this as well.

    RE 3R is an action packed adventure set in final hours of Racoon City, it follows The sexy badarse femme actoin heros Jill Valentines escape from the city and a giant mutant psycho.
    I personally really enjoyed the game as there really hasnt been alot of good horror games latly, with most studios opting for the cheap and boring walking simulator approach to horror.

    I have some complaints, Nemisis was irritating at times, it was a bit short lived and a bit more combat would have been good. A few sections where you are focused on clearing zombies would have added to the length and satisfaction overall. As the gunplay in RE3 R is perfect, your not OP and always on the back foot making the wins feel very relieving. Its just as Survival horror combst should be. This game has received alot of critisism and most is fair, I guess the floors are wirse for some than other. I liked it.    … Expand

    Не смотря на то что, визуально и геймплейно игра основана на 90% с RE2, получилась совершенно полноценная и самостоятельная история, с классной героиней и крутым антагонистом, Немезис настоящее украшение игры, крайне злобный, отлично нарисованный, с интересными боссфайт механиками.

    Визуальная часть прекрасна, дизайн локаций проработан, в мир зомби апокалипсиса веришь и легко    Не смотря на то что, визуально и геймплейно игра основана на 90% с RE2, получилась совершенно полноценная и самостоятельная история, с классной героиней и крутым антагонистом, Немезис настоящее украшение игры, крайне злобный, отлично нарисованный, с интересными боссфайт механиками.

    Визуальная часть прекрасна, дизайн локаций проработан, в мир зомби апокалипсиса веришь и легко погружаешься. Главная претензия ряда игроков про продолжительность, возникает только у тех кто играл на нормале или изи, на харде с этим все в порядке.     Probably my favorite Resident Evil game yet. Nightmare and Inferno Modes change up more than Scenario B ever did in last year's RE2 remake.

    What this lacks in terms of campaign length, it makes up in spades with it's impeccable replayability.

    **** the toxics fans ! The original game have the same period of time. It no have Tower Clock but they have another new things, Raccon park have mixes parts like the Subway, building zones, sewers and more. The Game don't deserve this.

    The overall reviews are very much positive. I for one enjoyed the game. I hear people’s concerns regarding the length and Nemesis not being as much fun towards the end. Overall the fans can’t complain, Capcom have given us fans what we wanted and brought back two classics. The game going forward has to evolve and unfortunately that won’t please everyone. Bring on RE8.

    The original RE3 has been one of my all time favorite games, I loved the game and was looking forward to the Remake. Reading the reviews, I was worried maybe I should wait for the bargains and cancel my preorder. So happy I didn't!
    Do yourself a favor, play the game on Hardcore on the first run and you will truly enjoy the run.     The original RE games were some of my favorite as a kid. I played RE1 when I was 11, back when it first came out. I was always drawn to RE3 because I thought Nemesis was cool and I loved how he hunted you down throughout the game. I also like seeing more of Raccoon City and being less confined to a mansion or police station. This remake of Resident Evil 3 is great. I like it a little more than RE2 and like the added dodge mechanics. RE3 feels a little faster paced on the standard difficulty and has less tedious backtracking IMO. Once again I like this title because you get to spend more time seeing the actual city, and less of the game is spent in underground Umbrella facilities. Those that are complaining about the game length confuse me. All of the original RE 1-3, can be beaten in a little over an hour and thirty minutes. The Resident Evil Gamecube remake can be beaten in about an hour and a half, and the door loading times take up about 25 of those minutes. The RE games are only long the first play through or on more challenging difficulties. Once you know where everything is at you can cruise through the game. I beat RE3 Remake on standard difficulty my first time through in 6 hours and 38 mins. My second time through took me 1 hour and 35 mins using an infinite rocket launcher that you can unlock. I love this game, and I have a lot of fun replaying it. I also love RE2 remake, RE3 is just a little more fun for me to replay with less tedious back tracking.… Expand

With that said here is my review

    The main campaign is about 6 to 8 hours long depending on how you explore and how many times you die. The main story is EXACTLY the same as the original. Yes the final section is pretty much like the final section of Resident Evil 2 but it is still nice and makes a bit more sense than a random factory dead center in the city with Military Early Warning Systems that can track a ballistic missile with pinpoint accuracy. The city streets weren’t as long as the original and the clock tower was cut down to a boss arena however they made up for it by expanding the hospital and lab a little more. Upon completion of the game you unlock a store that encourages you to beat the game again to unlock new items ranging from tokens for extra damage to weapons. Now this does come with Resistance, which I have not played and have no intention of playing because it’s not my cup of tea, which is an online Multiplayer mode similar to dead by daylight. Overall if you are not a series die hard just wait for a good sale on it. The Original Resident Evil 3 was only relplayable due to its RNG but it was all pretty much the same story over and over just at a different location.

    Also read the 0 reviews closely. None of them are saying anything that’s actually wrong with the game and just what they feel is wrong with the main character. “Oh ShE iSnT jUlIa VoTh 0/10”, “oH sHe SaYs ThE f WoRd”, “oH iGn GaVe It ThIs So It MuSt Be BaD”, and my favorite from a Youtube Troll channel “SoUlLeSs CaShGrAb”. Metacritic needs to delete every review with a 0. Its really getting out of hand    … Expand

    RE 3 is great game, great gameplay, Carlos is very cool character to play.. Nemesis is awesome.. Jill is amazing to play.. Graphic is incredible.. Story is undecided yet

    People need to realise this is a reimagination, not a remake. Just like the RE2R, it takes the best parts of the original and expands on that. The clock tower was boring, the Gravedigger annoying. The game is great but of course old boomers stuck in the past will find any opportunity to hate on something new and modern. 10/10, can't wait for the next remake Capcom. Keep em coming.

    reimagination of Resident Evil 3 (1999)", there's no sense throw hate in the 2020s version. The gameplay is excelent, the way that Jill moves is so light! Nemesis is so freaking awesome, the storyline is credible and all the scenarios... I just loved RE3 (2020).

    Прошел с огромным удовольствием за один заход и буду проходить еще как минимум пару раз обязательно, в оригинальную часть не играл поэтому ныть что что вырезали и упростили не буду. Сюжет его подача, атмосфера понравились. Главная героиня прекрасна. Если вы не токсичный старый фанат и желаете приобщится к серии Resident Evil то рекомендую!Прошел с огромным удовольствием за один заход и буду проходить еще как минимум пару раз обязательно, в оригинальную часть не играл поэтому ныть что что вырезали и упростили не буду. Capcom shouldn't have forgotten that, but it was still a lot of fun, even if Nemesis is not a big threat now. Overall, the game has turned out very well. But as I said, some things are missing from the original. Capcom could have brought them in, then the game would haveI don't understand the bad ratings. Of course, resi3 is much too short and a few things from the original are missing. Capcom shouldn't have forgotten that, but it was still a lot of fun, even if Nemesis is not a big threat now. Overall, the game has turned out very well. But as I said, some things are missing from the original. Capcom could have brought them in, then the game would have been longer. The gore effect has been reduced, for whatever reason. The city and places look fantastic. But at one point I agree with some, for 60 euros the game is too short. 5 hours in 3 years of development is laughable.… Expand

    I haven't played the original so I don't understand all the hate. As a new comer to the series I'm loving the game and recommend anyone give it a chance. Doesn't deserve the hate in my opinion but I guess you can't please everyone.

    I didn't get to play the original game so I'm really glad i was able to play it now.
    I absolutely enjoyed every second playing it. Would highly recommend it to anyone how love horror/action game.

    Hoping for Resident Evil 4 remake maybe??!

    The game is outstanding and is probably the Resident Evil title that benefits the most from a remake. Both Jill and Carlos are fantastic and the dialogue lacks any of the cringe of the RE2 remake (looking at you, Claire). The knife, dodge, and zombie action are all improved over the previous remake. Liked RE2 better? Yo, no one cares. Did you finish the game quickly on an easier difficulty setting? Next time, read (or have someone read for you if you are incapable) and choose the difficulty setting that will match your expectations. Upset about the omission of the clocktower? Uh, that was absolutely the most tedious part of the original release. The story in this game is tight, to the point, and does not include any frivolous exploration that frankly has no place in a story about an outbreak. All of the players that wanted to slowly creep around, get upgrades, and plant a garden or whatever have something wrong with them. If you are influenced by them and their inability to understand that quality always trumps quantity, then there is something wrong with you.

    So don't be a dunce. Buy Resident Evil 3 and have an outstanding time. Hell, play the game on nightmare and inferno modes and have a true S.T.A.R.S. experience. And if you know someone from the church of RE2 remake, wait until the end of the pandemic and throw something messy (but safe!) at them. You'll be doing anyone with an IQ score (any IQ score) a favor.    … Expand

    The game is flawed, as a fan of the original I will say that, still it is a remake, a new version of a 20 years old game. Is there things they could have done differently? Yes. Are there things they cut that I would prefer it they had included? Yes.
    It is a good, but short game. So if your plan is to not replay it then I would wait for a sale, if you plan to run it multiple times then I would get it now.

    Pros.
    It looks great.
    Good controlls, minus one thing I will mention further down.
    Sounds great.
    It is good to be back.

    Cons.
    It is on the short end, makes it feel rushed.
    Sometimes pressing to get out from something does not work even if you fill that circle, that needs to be patched.
    Nemesis does not feel scary.

    It is a good game that, had they given it more time in development, could have been great. Removing and changing things in a remake I have no problem with, just that if you do that you have to replace it with something new. Perhaps they could have expanded the first area with Jill searching for survivers. They could have also expanded some of the other areas, perhaps even having Nemesis showing up less, but making him more scary the few times he shows up.
    It could have been so much better, but it is still good, and does not deserve all these 0 from people who think in 0 or 10.    … Expand

    This game has a Resident Evil 4 feeling, which is my favorite of the RE franchise.
    Of course, people was specting something more like Resident Evil 2 Remake, and get frustrated. But, if you like Resident Evil, you must play this game.

    Jogo fantástico, ficou excelente. Vale cada centavo investido. O Nemesis ficou foda demais. Jogabilidade excelente, gráficos muito bonitos e história excelente. Demorei aproximadamente 13 horas pra zerar. Super recomendo o jogo.

    As someone who never played the original, I love this game. If you just wanted to play Resident evil 3 again go play the original or embrace the remake for what it is. A beautiful, terrifyingly good game.

    If you don't try to compare this game to the PSX version, you are going to enjoy this game. If you want to see an exact copy of the original game but with new graphics, this game is not for you.

Beautifully put together graphic wise, amazing game play with that good old resi evil horror feel to it. My only complaint is i felt Nemesis human form was underused. I got tired of seeing the giant Nemesis forms. And this is someone who enjoyed every minute Mr. X in RE2.     Yup. It's an AWESOME remake. The cancerous fans of the original RE3, should understand what a REMAKE means. This is not a remaster.... IT.IS.A.REMAKE. So they removed clock tower and some other areas, but they added new areas and expanded some other! I really enjoyed the game from A to Z.

Jugabilidad muy buena, práctica e intuitiva. El suvivor está presente, la parte de las cloacas y el hospital, es lo más angustiante y terrorífico.     The game is way better than RE2 remake, unlike RE2 difficulty is very balanced in RE3, you couldn't find any ammo (even on standard difficulty) in RE2, MR.X was so annoying in RE2 and would chase you everywhere. But nemesis is very balanced and its only in some specificed locations, gun play is way more better than RE2, graphics are way better than Re2. My first play took 6.5 hours but that’s not counting cutscenes or time reading or looking at map. It also comes with Resitance which is a separate game with a separate trophy list and platinum.     A must buy for a RE and survival horror fans.

    They did cut a lot of content from the original game, yes they extended some other parts, but it could have been a 95/100, they made wrong decisions, and they put too much effort on the multiplayer. He chases u up to the last 2nd to last section only to boss fights all re boss fights are scripted duh the last section builds tensions way better than boring police station sme new verity of enemy’s played straight on hardcore good challenge connects and ads and flushed out the sme stars members like brad how the lutenant from re2R got bitten it’s survival horror action with great characters mechs that being a depth of realism to the characters pulse great acting not 2D like Leon and Claire much more invested in them flushed out the story way better then original re3 it’s samall quality over quantity both re2 re3 under 5hours love it amazing better than 2 for me… Expand

    After a stellar remake of an arguably the best Resident Evil game ever made, Capcom has let down our expectations by giving us a more scripted, more linear survival horror action game that will probably be forgotten like so many sequels that have gone the path of less resistance when it comes to game design. RE3 make feels more like a DLC than a full-blown game.
