May 13, 2018the battle system is so painfully tedious that kills any enjoyment from the main story.

Jan 8, 2020It could have been much better: the characters are fun to play with, each one have a very different approach, but a series of bugs and crashes made it impossible for me to beat it. It crashes a lot, on battles, sometimes on dialogues. A broken game.

Apr 22, 2018The game is fun and doesn't take it self that serious, but it does have some design flaws and the combat can be quite tedious at times. It will however scratch that tactical RPG itch for you.

May 17, 2018Overall, Regalia is a beautiful adventure where each action the player takes accomplishes something, and it feels like every part of the experience has something to offer. The cast of characters and surprising story (no spoilers here!) show the developers’ dedication to both tactical RPGs and their narrative.

Apr 23, 2018Its friendly difficulty options cater to all abilities, providing strong challenges to those who want it and not getting in the way of those who don't, while the humour and vibrant graphics provide a great first impression. Its combat and gameplay loop can become a bit stale towards the end, with the kingdom building only playing a bit part and there being a few UI and control issues to overcome, but there's still plenty to like and no reason whatsoever for the developers' dynasties to end here.

Apr 18, 2018Porting the game to the PlayStation 4 after a successful PC Kickstarter project pays off relatively well. Although the controls aren't really suited to the DualShock controller the story managed to captivate us. The game is challenging and the voice-acting is solid. Combat can sometimes be a drawn-out borefest and the game suffers from repetitiveness somewhat but generally you won't mind since it still manages to entertain.
