    Another solid game from Rockstars . The enviroment is beautifull , the story is very well written , you just feel connected to the characters .The only part that felt a bit boring was the horse riding which takes up about 40% of your time .Over all a great game deffinitely worth my money .

RDR2 tem um dos mundos mais incríveis que já vi. Os NPCS carregando madeira por Saint Dennis, conversando, saindo bebados do bar, etc etc e etc.
    A história? Nem tenho o que dizer. No começo, você apenas quer laçar pessoas e matar. Mas com o sistema de honra que te deixa mal a cada npc morto por você sem motivo, você se importa cada vez mais com o mundo. E até o final da história, você realmente fica mal pelo final do jogo.
    Gráficos maravilhosos. nunca pensei que isso rodaria em um PS4 (Fat, original de 2013, comprado em 2016), nem preciso afirmar né?

    ill star by saying i wasnt the biggest fan of the 1st. mostly cause my disc was corrupted before i finished it and had to watch someone else finish offline. But this game truly is FUN to just do whatever and nothing at the same time. Overall i really enjoyed it although the online left me very disappointed wich is why id give it a 8.6 so a 9/10

    Red Dead Redemption 2 is nothing short of flawless. It captures your heart in it's opening moments as protagonist Arthur Morgan and the rest of the Van der Linde gang mourn the loss of one of it's members, Davey, as they struggle to find shelter in the middle of a blizzard on the run from America's coming of civility. At this moment, my heart was captured and Red Dead Redemption 2 held onto it right up until it's very last breath's - nothing a video game has ever done for me before.

    I originally played this game right as the clock struck midnight on October 26, 2018 on PS4 and have dumped many more hours into it on PC and still play it regularly to this day, whether it be fooling around with mods or goofing around with friends in the rather lackluster Red Dead Online, but I'm not going to be reviewing that today. RDR2 is one of the most authentic experiences ever. It's down to earth and it's human. Every single character, whether it be a random NPC who triggers a side quest or a member of camp, is fully realised with goals, aspirations, morals, ideologies and more. They're made to feel human and Rockstar does an incredible job of developing each character's personality to match the circumstances of the story throughout the game. Without spoiling too much, the Arthur you play as in Chapter 1 & 2 is not the same man you're playing as in Chapter 4 and is completely different again come Chapter 6. The world adapts to you more so than you adapt to it and that's this games' biggest strength. Commit a crime in Valentine and get away; come back a few days later and the Sheriff will question you about your actions if you're recognised, every NPC has a fully scripted routine that they follow and they will react in a variety of ways depending on how you interrupt that routine. The long, lonely stretches of land, watching the wind get torn in half by you on your horse is a sight to behold and the townships and cities that inhabit RDR2's game world are sprawling with lively characters to meet, activity's to participate in and crimes to commit. This is a game where no detail is left untouched; it is absolutely uncanny the amount of time it must've taken to realise every nook and cranny this world has to offer from the cinematic train heists to Dutch Van der Linde's, the gang's charismatic leader, an idealist of a new world, descent into madness as he falls victim to his own arrogance and the toxicity of the ego fueling psychopathic traitor Micah Bell. There are twists and turns in this story that you will not expect and some events are thrown at you so quickly you don't even know they hit you. You feel so connected, so engrossed in this virtual world that no other game has come close to replicating before. You feel the magnitude of every decision you make and eventually it will wear numb until Rockstar hands you a rude awakening and you're made to step back and look at the bigger picture. The way this games' story is told is nothing short of magnificent, props to Dan and Sam Houser and the rest of the narrative team crafting such an intricate and beautiful story about human nature.

    Obviously though, this is a video game, right? You can have the most beautiful world with the most amazing story being told in the world but if it's not fun to play then you won't be able to enjoy the game, right? Well, luckily RDR2 nails it in this department to. Micromanaging your horse, your beard, your hair and your weight never feels like a chore because it's never truly forced upon you, it's simply there if you wish to utilise it for increased immersion, rarely is any of it made a necessity. Riding your horse, which is what you'll spend a majority of the game doing, feels natural and intuitive and you can tell Rockstar took what they did well in the first game back in 2010 and updated it to give it a more modern feel while retaining that smooth feeling RDR1 had to it. The gunplay went rather unchanged and I know this was an annoyance for some people, but for me personally I think the gunplay was perfect the way it was and Rockstar didn't need to change it. They found themselves a serviceable system, tightened it up for eighth gen standards and ran with it and I didn't have a problem with that at all - don't fix it if it ain't broke. Most importantly in an open world game, interacting with the world around you feels seamless, it's like the world jumps at you right when you want it to and shies away when it knows you need some peace. I seriously have nothing to complain about here, all praise from me.

    Finally, the soundtrack. Oh my god. Some of the most memorable and emotional moments are heightened because of the superb selection of tracks that play just at the right moments and really engulf you in the mind of Arthur Morgan. It makes you empathise with him and the people around him on a whole new level, it is truly spectacular.

    I experienced the most realistic world in video games history in Rockstar's red dead redemption 2. Even the fast travel system feels so real.
    That amazing soundtrack , character design , environment design , .... Wow just wow.
    Thanks Rockstar for creating this masterpiece.

    And this game is a 10/10. It's the best game of the decade. It has everything. Maybe, just maybe a tiny bit too linear, but that's the assumption of the game. I don't mind. It allows for everything else to be absolutely perfect. The only game I've ever enjoyed as much from start to finish.

    Best game I have ever played. Highly recommend it. Storyline is the best. But it’s only misses the fast travel. For that you need to set up a camp in Forest but it’s Ok.

Not only is it a work of art but this masterpiece takes you on one of the most thoroughly genuine open world rides I've ever experienced. From the raw companionship you feel with your gang to the mesmerizing action scenes and dialogue, the vast landscapes and animals, to the smallest detail of a weapon, bug, or foliage....You actually felt like you were apart of this world and it hit every level of entertainment for me in terms of comedy, love, sadness, and horror.     It took a second attempt to get in to this game. The beginning is massively slow, but if you can get past this......what a game. Graphics and story are amazing. Game play is a bit clunky and controls could be improved, but overall it's a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

It has one of the best endings I've ever seen even. The Epilogue is just awesome I was so disappointed when Arthur Morgan died but oh boy din't they just nail that Epilogue with John Marston starting off as ranch worker and eventually showing how he built his own ranch. I spent days after completing the game just to improve my ranch when a game makes you open after beating it's story mode you know it's one of the best game ever. No one can't beat R* on Game design. Can't wait for GTA VI or whatever their next title is :)… Expand

Другого ожидаешь от РокСтарИгра очень неоднозначная. The most immersive open world I’ve ever encountered in a video game full of realistic events and interactions. It’s visually and audibly stunning. Эта игра стала для меня нечто большим, чем просто проходняк. После основной сюжетной линии я продолжаю играть в сюжетный режим, любоваться горами, пустыней и вообще фауной игры. Я следу за людьми, разговариваю с ними и натыкаюсь на различных странствующих ковбоев. Как жалко, что век их истек и игра передала это очень и очень хорошо. Когда наступает конец игры, то у тебя появляется еще одно маленькое, не законченное дело - проехаться по могилам тех, кто отдавал за правое дело жизнь. По могилам своих друзей. Игра научила меня, научила помогать тем, кто этого действительно прости, а главное помогать родным в любой ситуации. Чтобы не оставаться на грустной ноте, то если вы дочитали до этого момента, то я скажу только одно: I have a plane ;)… Expand

    I hadn't played RDR, but from the start, you could find that the game would immerse you into it.

    In the first gunfight of the game, I died within a minute. This meant that the game wasn't meant to be played all guns blazing. Over the 50 odd hours of game time, I learned to respect the gameplay, understand Arthur's background and appreciated the wonderful storytelling and character development.

    An excellent adventure game, slow, but with breathtaking writing skills. The technique is excellent, the game is magnificent, optimizes very well and the bugs are quite rare. The gameplay can be quite difficult to take in hand and the fights are repetitive. But it is especially for the walks in the open world which make that one takes pleasure there.

    Game gets a bit boring at times but otherwise an good game with tons and tons of detailing. If you like details in games and lots of tiny things to explore, this is perfect for you. Not for me though, became a bit of a slog to get through the prologue. And things didn't get a lot better from there.

    Sometimes the gameplay is kinda clunky because of the realism approach, but the graphics, the story, the acting, undoubtly, one of, if not, the best of the decade, revenge arc for Arthur Morgan executed perfectly, the easter egg and all the reference from the 1st game implemented flawlessly, considering they never planned a sequel when developing the 1st game, absolute masterpiece.

    I spent many hours of my life hunting, fishing and just killing bandits in the game. It's truly amazing and a must play for anyone.

I played this game the day it released, and was instantly pulled into the game by its gripping, tension filled intro cut scene. The tension in this scene portrays the bond of Dutch and his gang perfectly, and helps elevate the game and its story in its most important narrativeFirst of all, I want to say that after Rockstar's absence of video games for 5 years, this game is a master piece.     The games mechanics are smooth and fleshed out and suit the games setting perfectly. The level of detail in the game world is amazing. While the random encounters stand out as slightly scripted occasions they still fit into the world as believably as they could. the visuals are beautiful and compliment the realism of the story perfectly.

    Rockstar put out one of the best voice acted cinematic games the world has ever seen but it falls victim to the same problems most triple A games have. My main problem is that this is not a $60 game, its a $40 game with the best graphics and characters.     Ever since i first stepped into Arthur Morgans Boots there hasn't been a game that has quite grabbed me like RDR2, beautiful immersive world and amazing characters and Arthur Morgan is a great protagonist, the game starts off slow and builds up as you move in the story. Fun Action Packed Missions, Great Hunting and fishing gameplay,    Red Dead Redemption 2 is my favourite game ever.

    I rarely ever give a game a 10/10 …. I would only do so for classics I played and enjoyed as a kid for nostalgic reasons at best…. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 is without a doubt one of the most breathtaking and enjoyable modern games I have EVER played on the current and next gen. I would definitely put it within my top 3 games of all time…

Going on here I see people blasting this game for it’s awkward controls and walking being the reason for its low score …. Honestly If you grown men/women can’t use this game properly and don’t give it a chance because of that , it’s seriously sad… controls are everything I understand that …but in this game , especially on console I had not bother adapting to the controls at what … 16. Three years later it fits like a glove… so to speak. In terms of the slow story. Yes this games start is very …. VERY tedious and slow … especially the first Snow missions… in the beginning it was actually really cool and fun but having replayed the game 2-3 times … this is definitely a slow start, that doesn’t mean it isn’t enjoyable… but please trust me , if you stick it out this games story is one of the richest and unique , the most heart warming and heartbreaking stories…. There’s moments of laughter and utter sadness.. In terms of the realism and open world , I’m personally not a fan of role playing to the the extreme , but this game balances it out somewhat Nicely. I can understand people from the original game wanting to just run and gun but feeling restricted…. There is …. But there is two sides to that … if you want the Main Character with a high honour and a pretty redemable and rounded story , you play as he would , the options for a killer badass with low honour and outcome is also there. This games world is , just really **** gorgeous and Beautiful and it’s just WOW Three years later I’m STILL finding , side missions , secrets … loot … things to DO … for people saying it’s boring … it has such a VARIETY of well EVERYTHING… Please , please just … give it a go TRUST ME … if your bored … stick it through … hating the main missions … go off do your own thing and then come back … Just don’t ever pass on this game.    … Expand

    The story is a 10/10 a bit lingo but still a 10. Playability in console is like a 6 maximum and I am being kind. But online mode is a 0/10. This was a game that didn't need online mode in the first place. I give it an 8 in general. Highly recommended

    But this is the usual Rockstar game where you look at the minimap and see where it tells you to go.
    I will admit that sometime i like that type of gameplay, but it would have been nice to see them try out something new.

    An absolute must play, best graphics and details ever , too many memorable moments with good story and characters Maybe mission are too scripted but the world is alive everywhere I finished the game 100% whiteout knowing that the fast travel existed
    But some anex missions are boring and VERY LONG And the online has a lot of potential but he is abondant now

    It’s an huge, outstanding piece of art – worth the hard-earned cash as well as countless hours that are needed to get to know at least some of the attractions of Rockstar’s rendition of Wild West. For those who put story first – the biggest virtue of Red Dead Redemption 2 is that it sets the stage for RDR 1 and does it wonderfully. [13/2018, p.40]
