    I didn't play last year's game because I heard it was horrible. I didn't buy MLB 15, since it's pricey for a yearly title. I ended up giving RBI 15 a shot. It's not bad. It has a season mode, rosters, all the basic stuff I want. If you don't want an super in depth baseball game, and can put up with the really shoddy animations - it's enough to satisfy the basic arcade baseball itch. Like II didn't play last year's game because I heard it was horrible. I didn't buy MLB 15, since it's pricey for a yearly title. I ended up giving RBI 15 a shot. It's not bad. It has a season mode, rosters, all the basic stuff I want. If you don't want an super in depth baseball game, and can put up with the really shoddy animations - it's enough to satisfy the basic arcade baseball itch. Like I said. Don't expect bells and whistles. But not the worst arcade game.… Expand

    Personally it’s still tough to justify the $20 price tag, but the new features make the price a little more reasonable. However, if you are looking for a game to play with others who normally don’t play games, but love baseball, give this a look.

    R.B.I. Baseball 2015 isn’t a bad game. It’s not a genre-defining game, either. At $20, there are certainly worse things you can throw your money at (I’m looking at you, Yorbie). If you need a quick arcade baseball fix, then R.B.I. Baseball 2015 can hit the spot. However, when last year’s MLB 14 The Show can be had for a mere $5 more at this point, you may want to save up a little bit to experience a more complete package.

    At the end of the day, we're not entirely sure why R.B.I. Baseball has been revived. A full-on, retro styled game would perhaps be a reasonable alternative to MLB The Show, but this game ventures way too closely to Sony's series without having the budget to compete – and it makes a poor connection as a consequence. Bench this one, and get your baseball fix elsewhere.
