Apr 27, 2018Beautiful graphics and good gameplay. It lacks of a solod plot and is really short,, but besides that I liked the game

Feb 5, 2019If you enjoy the psychonauts universe, you probably won't be disappointed with this. It isn't as good as it could be but definitely worth playing.

Mar 14, 2017I agree with gusman, the adventure genre works perfectly and I would like to see more like this. I usually get sick when playing VR games, but this was perfectly fine. Good puzzles, mostly - and a fun experience all the way. Highly recommended.

Apr 25, 2018I was looking forward to playing this, but the gameplay wasn't that interesting or fun. The VR component was also not as good as other games. The plot seemed really random if you are not familiar with the psychonauts universe. A pretty mediocre game besides the enjoyable cartoony Psychonauts aesthetics.

Apr 19, 2018In all, there feel like somewhat minor gripes for a well-crafted, if somewhat brief, VR experience that delivers great storytelling and characterisation in a fascinating and funny universe. If it had a proper ended instead of just..stopping, it would be truly sublime.

Jan 2, 2018As a point-and-click experience in spirit, Psychonauts in the Rhombus of Ruin is much better suited to hardcore adventure gamers than its sometimes demanding platforming predecessor ever was, but it isn’t a standout game in terms of enjoyment or quality. It’s a short side mission that doesn’t wow with its puzzles or offer anything revolutionary in terms of gameplay or narrative. But it accomplishes what it sets out to do, by bringing a sorely-needed new dose of Psychonauts to the faithful, or at least those with a PlayStation 4 and a PSVR headset. It neither particularly delights nor disappoints, but marks its place as a competent placeholder in the expanding Psychonauts series, and a reasonable point of entry for those new to the virtual reality experience.

Nov 26, 2017Double Fine brings us back some very good memories of Raz and all of the other Psychonauts on this new adventure exclusively for the PlayStation VR, which performs a different gameplay from its first entry and lacks charm.
