People giving p4g 0's because it runs at 1080p instead of 4k on ps4 or ps5 shows you just how these so Called gamers today have forgotten what being a gamer is really about!!! Anyways p4g is a masterpiece for $20 on all consoles. I'm playing on a ps5 and I'm impressed how great p4g still plays and looks. Don't miss this treasure of a game.

O jogo roda perfeitamente no Switch, parece até que foi feito para essa plataforma. Apesar do meu preferido ser o 2 Eternal Punshiment, esse tbm é um dos Persona que mais gosto.

I'll keep this short: Play this game. It's a solid 10/10 masterpiece.

First things first I just want to say that the game's composer, Shoji Meguro, is a f'n god. Just listen to the Persona 5 or 4 OST, it's amazing. There is no other composer whose music upgrades and fits a game so much as his to the Persona series. Meguro-san, thank you!. The game itself has it all. A peaceful rural

A peaceful rural town that's suddenly hunted by a mysterious serial killer and a protagonist who discovers that there is an alternate world inside the TV's. An amazing cast of characters that genuinely feel like your real friends and about whom you'll shed a couple of tears when this game ends.

Now concerning the length: it's long. Like really long but it never feels like it artificially stretches things out. The 80 - 100 hrs are a mix of going to school, developing your relationships with people (Social Links as they are called in-game), spending time with friends, working part-time jobs and clearing the dungeons.
The dungeons itself have a specific theme to the characters they belong to, since the dungeons design is a product of the characters subconsciousness.

The graphics: I mean sure they're outdated in 2023 and in 2008 there were games out there that looked better (FF 12 for example), but the game still looks good and seriously this game is too f'n good to be reduced to it's graphics and thus be missed out on.

Let me emphasize this one more time: It's one of the best games ever made. It's shorter than Persona 5 (which itself is a content-colossus) but with approx 80 - 100 hrs it's still filled with content and an amazing plot with some of the most intriguing characters with whom you'll share fun and wholesome moments.

I seriously can't stress it enough: buy this game, play it and experience greatness.

If you never played a JRPG or any turn-based game at all, this is the one to start with. A masterpiece in every sense, maybe even better than Persona 5 Royal (which was my favorite game for a long time).

Despite being essentially the same game that was first released over a decade ago, Persona 4 Golden manages to avoid feeling dated to this day. A great cast of characters, an intriguing murder mystery story, and satisfying storytelling that moves at an unhurried pace are all completed by fun combat mechanics to preserve the game’s high standard. Even as the Golden iteration added some new content to it, these core sentiments remain largely unchanged. With a handful of exceptions, the majority of Social Links and sidequests underwhelm, while dungeons can be lengthy chores and the day-by-day calendar system makes completing all the behind-the-scenes checklists unnecessarily stressful, but though these annoyances require some getting used to, the game ultimately remains as much worth playing today as ever. The PlayStation 4 release may not bring anything new to the table, but those who’ve never experienced the game before will find a filling and satisfying meal awaits.

It’s hard to say P4G is definitely better. While still somewhat procedurally generated, the dungeons feel like more of a slog given how the design, heavy on long corridors, makes thing more spread out, and while there are great stories in the social links they can certainly sag a bit. The focus on boundary-pushing inner turmoil hasn’t aged as gracefully as some might remember either, Kanji’s struggle with masculinity and Naoto’s with gender both weak swings that never amount to much.2 Still a fantastic adventure, but not the shining jewel it was once touted as. Persona 4 Golden remains a very good JRPG, but the most important virtue of this re-release is that it makes you appreciate even more Persona 5 and the later entries. Unfortunately, this remaster will not make the list of best practices. In particular, the graphics are underwhelming, so only those with nostalgia for the PS2 era will probably be able to enjoy it fully. The rest of the players will tolerate it together with other quirks of the game, in order see through the great story, while focusing on the gameplay experience. With some more effort and budget invested, we could have gotten a true remaster, which could have elevated the entire game and make it memorable for new audiences.
