Aug 7, 2017From going to one of the more fun game to play (when you actually got the game after paying for it ) to a free to play game with impossible trophies, and promoting you to buy content in every corner. It's just nothing more than the average mobile game.

Aug 8, 2017OMDU is an enjoyable game, with a nice combination of strategy and action gameplay with enough inherent randomness to keep the maps interesting after you've played them a number of times before. That being said, you should be aware that progression in the game comes in terms of access new traps, trap upgrades, and trap mods, as well as gear and perks, rather than in making your way through a campaign or a large number of levels. I found it odd and a little frustrating that trap upgrade points are awarded as random drops rather than through using the traps in the game, so it can take a while to upgrade the traps in your favorite loadouts while traps that you don't really use have reached higher upgrade levels. While there is variety in terms of enemy types at different difficulty levels and the number of heroes and traps you can use, the number of maps in the game is naturally limited. Achievement chasers will be in heaven, though, as the game features over 100 achievements to unlock.

Aug 5, 2017Orcs Must Die! Unchained is a shining example of how to balance a free-to-play game to be engaging without paying, yet rewarding if you do decide to drop some money into it.

Aug 1, 2017As free-to-play games come, Orcs Must Die! Unchained is quite good. The game is crafted meticulously to serve you humor and playfulness, as well as complicated strategy-led gameplay that will have you hooked after an hour or so. While the term microtransactions will be the dirty word with this game, they’re not necessary to have some real fun. Anyway, definitely check it out.
