Divertido, tiene atletismo, natación, y por vez primera en este tipo de juegos hay deportes de conjunto como fútbol y beisbol. Hay box, ciclismo, bastante completo. Muy fácil de jugar y divertido en multijugador. Por el costo le doy 10

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. When I heard this game was in development I was very excited as the London 2012 game was a very good game so my anticipation was high. I saw this game on ps now and took what I thought was a great deal but I was very wrong. The game shames the legacy of London 2012 and has affected my Tokyo 2020 Olympic viewing experience. This has a very low roster of events compared to 2012 and the childish graphics make them feel unrealistic and fake so is hard to get engaged with. The events that are in the game are very underwhelming and are a real problem to human sanity to play, especially the online events. Baseball is very laggy and the servers in general are very shoddy. Football and rugby sevens are ok but a real slog to play as your team is incompetent and struggles with basic human mobility. Another problem with online play is that the records display incorrectly meaning I don't know what score I should be aiming for. The single player is a slight improvement but is still a complete **** The only reason i have given this game a 1 instead of a 0 is that there are events in the game and it has online, but that's about all it has going for it. What a shame that Olympic video games have taken such a fall from grace and in my opinion is one of Segas worst games ever. I cannot recommend anyone plays this as it is truly terrible and I do not wish you to feel what I have had to go through playing this. Expand

Crappy game. Cartoony and with hundreds of sports that nobody cares about. We already have many futbol, baseball, tennis games, we want more athletism

I hope someday somebody make good olympic games again, like ESPN sports, Hyperolympic, Atlanta 96, and many others.

Stop the crappy cartoony and Marios and Sonics make out in the olympic games

It's a fun enough game, reminiscent of Wii Sports back in the day, the single-player is fun across most of the sports. The downside is the online mode. The timing is so precise, the fractions knock you off the timing. I had one successful no lag play when all of the other players were automated, but even one player from a different time zone skews terribly into unplayable lag.

+ Great single player/local player arcade sports game

Overall Score: 7.5. Overall, while it has some issues, this is a very good, fun game that I could recommend to sports fans and for those who want to enjoy playing the Olympic Games. A nice job by SEGA with this game.

Very bad. Just some mini games thrown into an Olympic Games arcade game. Gameplay is obnoxious. OBNOXIOUS. Why wouldn't you put some effort in this kind of games and create a simulation with good gameplay? Was done before on 90s console, could be done again Don't spend money for this.

XD

Overall, Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is an above-average game that is plagued by some flaws, but it also excels in the pros thanks to its low genre competition, quality of craftsmanship, some fun and a nice price. Squeezing almost twenty sports into one package so that everyone is lively and functional, turned out to be too difficult for the creators. Unfortunately, the game is a lifeless, unbalanced, and the price is exorbitant.

The base is solid, so are the minigames, but the resulting experience just isn’t deep enough for you to care about for more than a few hours. There’s no career mode and, what’s even more inexplicable, local multiplayer only supports two players. At least there’s a solid editor.

There’s an extra layer of complexity behind events such as judo that the quick and clear tutorials don’t let on about. This means it’s a game that welcomes people of all ages and skill levels, and allows them to play together. That’s the hashtag Olympic spirit! [Issue#4, p.77]
