    It is looking very good like retro arcade action fighting game , but the timer …..oh this wonderful timer , is ruining the whole game ! I hate timers! But when you play as a white belt there is no timer but the game is like set on hard mode ?! The controls on ps4 are horrible . The game has many moves to master but I was smashing my buttons like crazy and it helped anyways.     We are very used to seeing old arcade games used as a basis for lazy indie rehashes but Okinawa Rush is one of the few that elevates the source material to new levels.

    After my 12 plus hours of playtime with Okinawa Rush, I can confidently say that this is the best beat-em-up I’ve played in the past decade. With nine endings, a co-op campaign, a plethora of things to unlock, and a light touch of Dark Souls RPG elements, Okinawa Rush is one game that I can see both fans and non-fans of the genre sinking a good chunk of time into, if not for conventional reasons, then for the sheer variety and ambition on display here.

    It pains me to say it, but I came away from Okinawa Rush with the sense that it’s a huge missed opportunity. The frustration of dealing with the timer quickly builds up and overshadows everything that the developers get right.
