Jul 6, 2017I didn't like the the first game, and this game was no different. The controls are fine, but the store is poor. The game is a platforming game, and can get frustrating at times.

Jul 23, 2014this is one of the first games I played on the PS1 and I enjoyed it back then, now that they have remade it for the PS4 I got it as soon as it came out and enjoyed it all over again, this is a very enjoyable game and everyone will enjoy it if they get it

Sep 19, 2014I like it, this game is fun and curious. I've never played the original version, but I can say: this in an awesome game, with great puzzles and beautiful graphics. For it price it's a definitely must buy if you like this kind of game.

Jul 29, 2014Abe is back for the best game of the year. The background of the game is realistic and living, Abe and all mudokons are so hilarious. Now I want the next game ... Exoddus ;)

Aug 25, 2014Incredibly beautifully game completely reconstructed from the ground up of the 1997 classic. This game sets a standard for quality in excellence toward how remasters SHOULD be approached.

Apr 20, 2015Lackluster remake of a broken game, similar to DuckTales. Story is extremely slow. Redo after redo after redo makes this content a 4/10 due to minimal interesting music, and that's it.
STAY AWAY from this and spend your money properly on better games. -

May 11, 2015Really really good remake. It brings me so many memories.
I do not have to say anything more. But i need to write one hundred and fifty characters. -

Apr 7, 2019I never played the original but enjoyed this game. Good graphics and interesting story and cutscenes. However felt the jumping and physics of the game were very challenging making it frustrating. Also it was only until halfway through the game that I realised how to actually save the creatures, and by then half had been lost.

Apr 12, 2021Molecada Nutella que não sabe o que é um jogo bom. Jogadores de Freefire não deveriam ter direito de dar uma nota.

Mar 27, 2015A fantastic remake of an exquisite game occaisionally let down by imprecise controls. The new difficulty settings would be welcomed by some, though the only way to play this game is on hard.Exoddus please!

Apr 25, 2016A perfect example of how a remake must be done: nice graphics, nice sound and a really good control.
Let's hope that next game (Exxodus) is also remaked. -

Sep 12, 2014Abe's original was the first really beautiful looking game of its time. Still the best and most addictive side scrolling adventures until now... what a trip back memory lane and with wonderful graphics. Playing it at the moment and loving it. By far the best ps4 game out at the moment. Hats off.... That is a remake..!!!

Apr 22, 2015Very nice, fun game. Good puzzles, and good controls. Definitely recommended. The story is nice, simple, but probably you'll need subtitles. Graphics upgrade make it look very nice even on a big screen.

May 13, 2015I was already a fan of the original version but now I love it even more! This remake made we want to play through it multiple times (which I plan on doing) and I will definitely buy the sequels if they are released. Enhanced graphics are amazing! Must buy if you like the original games and/or if you just enjoy playing the classics!

Mar 8, 2017A very fun game to play and has major graphical improvements over the original PS1 classic. It feels familiar yet strange when playing but they really have done a great job with this overall. If you own a PS4 then stop wasting time reading this and give it a go.

Jul 26, 2017This game is the JAM! It takes an already fun/challenging game and bumps the graphics and performance way up. I played this game to death when I was kid and I'm pumped that I get to do the same now.

Grafica dallo stile inconfondibile, ambientazioni ispirate.
Giocabilità discreta, con controlli un po' rigidi.
Puzzle interessanti e ben studiati.
Personaggi simpaticissimi.

Playstation Official Magazine AustraliaSep 19, 2014Just as delicious as we remember it, but now cut much thicker and slathered with gorgeous graphical garnish. Bon appetit. [October 2014, p74]

Sep 8, 2014New ‘N’ Tasty is exactly what it claims to be: a new experience still instantly familiar to anyone that played the original, and vital playing for those that didn’t. Oddworld was a defining presence on the Playstation, and New ‘N’ Tasty will remain a defining experience on the new generation of consoles, too. It’s a pleasure to see a remaster done so well.
