Ein lustiges Spiel, nicht zu einfach, schönes Design. Leider wird es zum Schluss etwas eintönig. Ich habe es mir für 5€ gekauft, dieser Preis ist komplett ok, mehr würde ich nicht zahlen.

Unfortunately, while it is still somewhat enjoyable in small bursts, the core gameplay just isn't as entertaining and the controls aren't quite as tight as Dennaton Games title and I personally found that it over stepped the line between challenging and frustrating all too often. Free on PS+ this month its worth checking out but I suspect most will give up before completing the games 20 levels. Expand

The game is kind like hotline Miami, and LA cops, but it isn't as polished as those titles. The game is fairly short, and you are going to die a lot. If you enjoy Hotline Miami it might be an pick up for you, otherwise I would stay away.

    voto 70/100.

With it's 8-bit graphics, absurd sense of humor, and over-the-top violence NOT A HERO is reminiscent of titles like BROFORCE and Super Time Force Ultra. You're tasked with sliding and shooting your way into the hearts of voters for a purple rabbit who wants to become mayor so the world doesn't end. It's ridiculous stuff, but like the previously mention games, the action is fresh and original enough to keep you playing. The sense of humor is also a plus.

The game's 21 levels go by in fast. It offers a decent little challenge, but it's not hard to notice that death doesn't always seem like your fault. For the most part the action works well. Sliding, shooting, and executing your foes feels great. There is also a fair amount of variety in the enemies you'll face. Normally the encounters you'll face are well-balanced, but every now and then the game will drop the ball and send large waves at you from multiple directions where luck is the only way to survive. These moments are just a frustrating as you'd expect. Luckily they don't happen too often.

To add a little more variety to the experience the game has different unlockable characters to use. Each of which has their own strengths and weaknesses. While it's always exciting to see that you've unlocked a new character, partially due to their humorous introductions, I found that more often than not these new characters weren't very useful. I found my favorites early on and outside of taking the new guys for a test run they are who I stayed with. I suppose it all comes down to an individual's play style in the end though. If you're really looking for a challenge, the each level's optional objectives are sure to test your skills.

Overall, it's a solid, if brief, action game with some issues. However, at the end of the day the humor and solid core gameplay make it worth a look if you're into arcade-style action games. The action is fast and furious, and the jokes keep on coming. You'll have to look past the repetition and other flaws, but the game makes a pretty nice case for itself. Vote BunnyLord!

Not A Hero is a super fun, 2D, run 'n' gun game that feels like Contra with stealth aspects mixed in. Comedic aspects that resemble something from Adult Swim takes this game over the top!

Utter joke that Sony think we deserve this as February's free ps+ game. Disgraceful, ugly little game made my a developer who clearly has no understanding of what made retro games fun. Avoid this snooze fest like the plague and pray the developer is never allowed to program garbage like this again!

"Not a Hero" is definitely "not a good game". The game's sprites are so tiny, it's sometimes hard to figure out what's going on. And the controls and gameplay are bad. Be prepared to die many times because you wanted your character to perform an execution but he shot his gun instead.

Anyway, that's a pity because, with good controls and better graphics, this could have been a pretty fun

Anyway, that's a pity because, with good controls and better graphics, this could have been a pretty fun game, with its fast-paced action and silly story. The bunnylord's monologues and speeches are pretty funny, but they get old after a while, and they're displayed so slowly, that's annoying.

Note for Trophy Hunters : The trophies aren't too hard if you can get used to the game mechanics and overcome the frustration of the bad controls.

Over all its a pretty fun, short, cover based side scroller which lacks replayability and has a pretty nasty difficulty curve in the later levels. That and the expectation of perfecting each level as well as completing every task to get the "best" ending, is a bit of a delusion of grandeur 7/10 Expand

This is a simple game with a lot of killing and fun. Sometimes the game can get a little difficult but all of it felt good to me. I've got it with the PS Plus and wasn't expecting so much but it was a good surprise, just a game to have fun.

It's a fun game to play for a few hours and get your mind off things. But nothing more.

Retro-styled 2D run & gunner that's amusing in small doses but the 21 levels are a little simplistic and brief. Worth it if you like this kind of game and can get it cheap, but it's difficult to recommend it over the likes of Metal Slug Anthology which contains a lot more bang for the buck.

While the game can be fun in short stretches and Bunnylord is deserving of further video game appearances, overall the game delivers more frustration than frills.

Riotous fun to begin with. But when the difficulty ramps up faster than a halfpipe, frustration creeps in due to loose controls and mechanics. [April 2016, p75]

Not A Hero tries so hard to be irreverent that it hurts, but, in the grand scheme of things, the game is still fairly fun. Just don't be astounded if it fails to hold your attention for long. [Issue#267, p.76]
