    This is the first NBA 2k I've ever owned and the first "modern" NBA game that I have actually played for more than a few minutes (my previous experience is with the 16bit era Live series, and classic NBA Jam). So perhaps my perspective is different from the typical one you might find amongst user reviews.

    My first impression of the game is that it all seems quite overwhelming.     My first impression of the game is that it all seems quite overwhelming. My only comparison for a modern sports game is FIFA 13, since its the only other one I own. While both have a learning curve, I find that NBA2k15 is completely merciless to newcomers. There are ways to practice, but they are buried within menus. There is no proper tutorial mode, there aren't even really any tool tips to help you learn anything. FIFA has numerous drills that teach you important skills, and it loaded them before each match to give you a random warm up. NBA 2k15 assumes that you already know everything there is to know about basketball and the 2k series. Thankfully, its not impossible to figure out, and watching a bunch of Youtubers play will get you the basics.

    I've mostly focused my attention to MyCareer. My impression of it so far? It is thoroughly entertaining, but it feels very limited in many ways. It tries to be very narrative, which is nice, but the lack of resources means it doesn't feel as if anything could happen as well. There are certain events that are supposed to happen, and by gum, they are going to happen, generally. You also don't really have much in the way of voice choices. In a world where games like Saints Row have way more character dialog, it is really disappointing to only have two similar voices to choose from.

    For overall game play, it seems solid enough, but I have little to compare it to. I think the worst thing about the game are the canned animations, which can create huge problems in control, since people get stuck doing certain things and can't be interrupted it seems. I am also not a fan of the shot meter and being hot or cold. I feel like sometimes the game, via dice roll (or RNG, if you prefer), simply decides that I am going to miss easy shots. I've missed open shots that were extremely close to the line on the meter tons of times, even though I've nailed the same shots many times before and after. Passing is also very weird, and the AI has some weird ideas for what an acceptable pass looks like.

    There is a bunch of stuff I haven't tried yet. I've tried to play online via the MyPark mode but the lag seems pretty noticeable, which is bad for a game where you have to actually time your button presses. There didn't seem to be a way to warm up once in the park, so the only way to get adjusted to the delay is to join a game and ruin other people's team. I suppose you could try to play head to head via exhibition, but I feel like the lag there wouldn't be the same since that is only 2 players, instead of a park filled with people. The other modes, MyTeam, MyGM, etc, I haven't tried, so I won't comment.

    The graphics are nice, but facial animations during cut scenes are terrible, and people have robot hands a lot of the time. My biggest pet peeve is that referees and other players can cover your shot meter, making it very difficult to shoot if you rely on it.

    The sound is fine, but I wish the game supported custom soundtracks. A friend of mine edited his NHL 14 to have a bunch of custom tracks, so I am not sure why 2k15 doesn't have this simple technology. GTA San Andreas even had it back on the PC. SimCity 4 had it 10 years ago!

    I give it a 7/10 because it is a solid basketball game, but there is a ton they could do to make it untouchable. A good game, but very tough on new players and lacking some simple quality of life features.    … Expand

    One of the worst games I have ever played. Shooting is terrible. The meter's pace changes with how well they are at the range, so inconsistent. Not to mention other players heads often block the meter. Not a fan of EA but at least they figured out a basic in FIFA. Defense don't try it just watch them score and try to break but again forget consistency. Mostly just lose. Glad to see 2kOne of the worst games I have ever played. Shooting is terrible.     I bought this game a few weeks after release to avoid the server issues.
    I really enjoy playing through. The MyCareer Mode is absolutely fantastic! I thought I wouldn't like the career mode without a draft, but it actually works out really nicely.
    The story is great and engaging so far, with nice added in clips, they have done Career mode better than I have seen before in their previous    I bought this game a few weeks after release to avoid the server issues.

    What I don't understand and is really frustrating is the fact that my shooting % is about 25%, regardless of things I do to get space for my guy if I line up a shot in yellow. It's really frustrating making a good move to get space, releasing a little right of the line and putting it off the hoop and out most of the time.

    One other thing I don't like is free thrown you need to release when you think the motion is done. Motion changes for each player, so you don't really have a great way to know when to release.    … Expand

    I was torn with this game. I say this because after I started playing My Player I was not fully immersed from the simple fact the VOs they use for our characters are simply...horrible. They let you scan your face to get a decent representation of you physically but then make you talk like a moron? I mean they did add one voice to add to the one voice they had in 2K14 but both sound likeI was torn with this game.     The addition of scanning your face is great...but why only one player? Why not in created player? I have friends...I want them in the game as well.

    After the two above things I was done with 2k15 and would have given a 4.0 because sure the game looks great but it just had miscues on the things I enjoy I did not want to play it. And in the end that is what it is all about. But low and behold a fan created a 90s roster that I downloaded 4 weeks ago and started a franchise with. I created a whole bunch of my friends in the limited player creator(no tats, no headbands, no goggles, no glasses, really?) and took over the Raptors.

    Before this point I had written off the series...but being able to play against the legends and players of the era I enjoyed most finally allowed me to see how well this game plays.

    This is truly a good game at the core.

    The "Servers" 2K has one of the most highly used video game servers. I do not believe that their network is not able to withstand the amount of users that they anticipate to actually purchase their game. Being as though the most commonly used feature on their game runs via online you would think this feature would be fixed already... right? WRONG. NBA 2k15s network is so bad that it ruins everything that could be perfect about the game.
    You want to go to the Park to showoff your skills.
    DENIED 2K server is going to be down for the next 6 Hours. And then it will only be running mediocre. This type of constant issue murders your motivation to even play the game anymore!

    Online gameplay is just as bad. I have had games where I honestly had to quit because the game lagged more than it played smoothly. And after blaming my Cable company for a few hours I realized that it was the crappy 2k network.

    The gameplay and controls are a lot tighter this year. Last years 2k felt like an NBA Jam game with Next gen graphics. This years is way better and more responsive. However "defense" is still almost impossible to be consistent with. Way to many times I find myself lateral shuffling pass a defender or not shuffling fast enough, There is no great "balance."

    Also at times playing the computer can be the fastest way to the emergency room... ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE THE COMPETITIVE TYPE. After utilizing all the settings given to help enhance the IQ of your AL defense. I was still scorched by the computer for about 75% shooting in the second half. After keeping them to a reasonable 40% in the 1st half.
    The shots that they were hitting were contested layups, mid range pulls ups over double teams, fadeaway 3 pointers (contested of course)
    Quite literately I slammed my controller, And the last time it almost went through my television. Oh did i mention that I was playing as the bulls and I played against THE SUNS???
    Oh not to mention that if the computer starts to drive the lane your defender is FROZEN. The game won't allow you to contest the shot, strip the ball, or even MOVE! This happens constantly so its not a glitch its a problem!

    These issues help ruin what could have been the best basketball game I feel like I've played in years. My career (when working) has the promises to finally keep players interested beyond the 1st season. Of your players career.

    All and all if a few patches are put out my review could possibly become a 10. However its a 6 because the features that could make this game perfect are its biggest weakness!    … Expand

Last year was pretty bad, BUT somehow playable. This year, the online match is a dumbed-down version of last year. Also, its unplayable, suffering from online/input lag and connection issues.

    They do have some interesting modes that were introduced this year, including MyTeam. But, the year is 2014 and this is the age of online mulitiplayer and most games have an online element added to further the game experience. Even games, which are more known for their campaign (offline) modes, have smooth operating online modes.

    This is a black eye for a great sport simulation franchise. Great game, but without smooth online experience, its basically unplayable.    … Expand

    Since the servers arent working correctly, you can't really play the most interesting part of the game. I'm not really interested in playing anyone online, I just want to play the MyCareer mode solo...which I cant because of the broke servers. Really bummed and feel like I wasted money on this game. Buyer beware.

    My review is based on gameplay only. I feel like I am playing NBA 2K14. I'm not saying 2K14 is a bad game (it's a terrific bball sim), but on 2K15 I was expecting improvements and bug fixes.

    The game itself is good, but not revolutionary. This alone would've earned it a 5/10, but the server issues that many people are experiencing (myself included... hello to the "MyPlayer account expired" bug just make this an infuriating experience. Just google the support forums to see what sort of issues this game is having on PC especially...

MyTeam auction house is down because of a duplicate glitch, and you can't buy any packs.     The MyCareer is a fun and defienetly improved than last years version, and for the first time you feel you have control of your career. Free agency, demanding trades, realistic injuries and on court strategy are engaging.
    Down side? Lip syncing and athletes are poor actors when    I would advise picking this up if you are a fan of basketball and aren't looking to be competitive online.
    The MyCareer is a fun and defienetly improved than last years version, and for the first time you feel you have control of your career. Free agency, demanding trades, realistic injuries and on court strategy are engaging.
    Down side? Lip syncing and athletes are poor actors when reading lines. More comical than distracting. There are occasional script glitches, but are in the minority.
    Online players: Just like EVERY online sports game, there will be issues depending on your internet and those you play who try and cheat with internet speed toggling. It can be fun or frustrating, but I found it's okay.

    Just getting to the points that matter. When the servers work this game is a lot of fun. IF the servers are down then you're not able to enjoy the best of what the game has to offer. As of the first week of the game being out there have been a lot of problems with the servers on the PS4 for me. Hope they patch this up and get things working for those who will buy this in the future.

But man, my teammates(Faried and a gen rookie rated 80) were useless, they get beat by Brandan Wright and Aaron Gordon? regularly. Shelvin Mack makes jump shots regularly off a Westbrook/Marcus Smart double team. Next REBOUNDING. So Taj Gibson was beating Mirotic to the boards. Fair enough. So I used Mirotic to lockdown Gibson. Surprise, now Steven Adams was beating Drummond to the boards. Next PASSING. Steve Nash can't make the pass on a 3 on 1 break? Standard basketball. Stop on the 3 point/free throw line make the pass. Super defender intercepts the pass. Passing to the paint almost always gets stolen. Next OFF BALL MOVEMENT. Why the does the roller on a pick and roll always run towards the sides? Roll towards the middle. Why does fastbreaking guards always run towards the 3 point line even on a 2 on 1 or even a 3 on 1 break?

    Minor stuff. Referee taking too long to give the ball. Not playing the game to watch a referee give the ball. Too much realism there. Fantasy draft on myGM. Is there any way to change draft order?

    Overall, 2k15 is an offense-oriented arcade style jump-shooting basketball sim.Is 2k better than Live? Yes. Is 2k superb and Live trash? No. This year I'm giving Live a chance.    … Expand

    I thought that last years game was much better! The players are almost all the same size, Damian Lillard is about the same body mass as Robin Lopez, it's weird. I feel the game plays lethargically slow in terms of pace. Overall I thought it was many steps back from last seasons installment.

    Amazing game, like every NBA 2k game. I just would like 2k re-make Michael Jordan 2012 2k with all the new stuffs and for the new gen, It is the only game I still play in my ps3

    Nba2k15 is the best 2k game so far. Graphics looks so good I canot stop smiling when playing. I know that a lot of people are dissapointed at those sever issues but so far for me I have access to everything with no lag whatsoever. I really like the smoothness of gameplay and really hard D

MyTeam is unplayable, Park is unplayable, even MyCareer is unplayable. Face Scan is an overcomplicated hit-or-miss feature. The gameplay is almost a carbon copy of 2K14, except with a couple of changes,2K servers - that is all. No; in all seriousness, this game is, for all intents and purposes, unplayable. The game wastes so much time while you wait to pass the ball in the time just ticks away, so if you are losing or in a close game, its a serious disadvantage. Also have to mention that in NBA2k14 the charge was too easy to take, in 2K15 its impossible to take, even when you set up nicely.     Their is a huge difference in this 2k and the others. It is a completely new experience. With all the features will keep your face glued to the TV screen

My issue this year is that I didn't see an option to edit players. I love to customize accessories and items as true to life as possible and tinker with stats as players improve or or struggle throughout the season.

    Graphics: This game boasts some of the most impressive graphics ever seen in a sports game. With that said I'd say that most player models are amazing, but you can tell that some players did not receive much attention. I could easily recommend this game. All of the modes/features that 2k14 left out are reintroduced, including create a player and association mode, and the ones that 2k14 dumbed down are back in their old state once again. MyGM and MyTeam are back to being content rich modes. In addition, the presentation has been much improved and looks like an actual TVNBA 2k15 is easily one of the best basketball video games to date.     A true "next gen" title. Revamped my career, updated animations. Nice soundtrack. Online play very solid. Would love to be able to take my player and team and play online (not park). I am very happy with this iteration. Good work!

But then the worst thing came about. Everything I did wasn't good enough. I would grab rebounds even though my rebounding skills were low. Now here was where I was totally pissed off till the end. The CPU have gotten more aggressive, more magnetizing, and flat out annoying. It's like the CPU players can't miss no shots at all. They can get to the basket without hesitation. And it seems like 2K just took a complete huge crap on MyCareer. Everything has kept happening and I couldn't stop anyone from making shots. It's like there is no kind of user defense for me in this game. I kept losing games back to back. I couldn't redeem myself from none of those games. It's like 2K is really forcing you to losing a lot of games to make their stupid story mode continue. That is the most disgusting thing I have ever encountered. 2K always say they are going to keep making the games better and better, but they always keep slipping up and making things worst then ever. I've upgraded my players attributes, but i'll like nothing will not click. Driving to the basket is impossible for me and not only that, I can't make a damn layup. Now what kind of horse S#^T is that. Let's face it, 2K will never admit the issues that they see in the game, but we can.     Personally I think this is a step back from last year. Player models look great other than that there is a new shot meter that is horrible. Open lanes and missed layups seem constant as well. Alley oops are just as bad and online lag still plagues this game. As a huge nba 2k fan im so disappointed with this year rendition. Also face scan is a marketing ploy it looks nothing like you.

    For me the one and only true next gen game in terms of graphics (started with nka 2k14), since everytime I play I can believe how good it looks and how close it is to be watching a real game. All the game modes are top notch, and I find it difficult to spend my time equally in all the modes since I don't have really that much time.     I am really liking this game so far. The defense is really improved although there is still some sliding by the cpu. MyCareer is a blast and i love the cut scenes. I also like how you have ten day contracts instead of getting picked in the draft. The way you level up your player is a big improvement. You can earn vc really fast if you play on high difficulty. 2K15 has turned out really nice but there are a few things i didn't like which is why i didn't give a 9 or a 10. First is the music. There are a lot of terrible songs in the game. Please don't allow pharrell to pick the music anymore. And also the server errors which happen every year. I wish 2K would have the servers up and running from the start. Every year we grab the game early and end up not able to play because of server issues. Right now as i am writing this review i can't connect to the 2K server and can't play any mode which uses their servers. This includes, mycareer, mypark, myteam, and anything online. This game was test to see how Kobe would play in this game. I was right about what was going to happen. He barely missed any shots even with hands in his face and it was like anything around the basket contested or not was going in. I even rotated double teams towards him on the drive and decided to pressure him before he got the ball so he would move around more and that didn't work. He just cut to the basket and got the ball anyway. That is my one gripe about the game. There were some small annoyances, the biggest thing that spoiled my experience was when my opponent was down 2pts 2.8 secs before the end of the game and the cpu just passed to their PG and took a shot from their own paint which was a huge disappointement in a game that's otherwise really realistic. Oh and i'm sure i've seen Parker go for a huge alley oop dunk in the initial Spurs - Heat game (but the pass was stolen)

    My Player is really cool, although the face creation process was kinda a drag for me without a cam (so i can't say anything about the face scan too). But i'm pretty bad with faces and stuff like that so that may be the cause. I love the fact you have more control on where you play in, but still feel humble coming in due to being underrated.

    Good changes were made with the grading as well, you don't get stuck with so many bad calls for pass and bad steal attempts. After 10 games or so my PG is going for 13 points and 6.5 assists playing around 19 minutes so that's obviously good but not too much as well. Teammates are good with their passing but their shooting is pretty poor, also they could use some aggressiveness with their dunks and drives. They also tend to really go behind when i'm on the bench, and since it happened against poorer teams (my Pistons vs 76'ers for example) it seems kinda weird.

    But otherwise i'm having a blast with MyCareer, the new upgrade system is cool, the cutscenes are well crafted, entertaining and their frequency/duration is spot on, i like my player's voice acting (my mentor is ok as well but it's really uneven depending on the player from what i've heard on Youtube). Most of all the games are really enjoyable, you don't score a lot of cheesy points, and it's kind of harder to get assists but if you get them, they're really enjoyable.

    Server problems. Their pretty bad, but i've managed to play 3 MyTeam games, and once i was in game there was no lag and the gameplay was enjoyable. I like the new player quality restrictions in Road to Playoffs.

    Visually the game is simply stunning, the game presentation is fantastic as is it's audio. Music is ok, it's obviously impossible to create a soundtrack everyone will like, but i'm glad with the inclusions of some classic tracks and some new enjoyable ones. I don't like how the songs start/end when browsing through the menus though, the silent periods when something is loading etc. are too long and too frequent.

    There are some visual glitches as well - sometimes players are invisible during interviews, sometimes at a certain angle there are some weird white texture on the players' eyes/lips. The crowd could use more movement as well.

    That doesn't take away from the fact that when i first saw a replay of Kwahi Leonard dunking it down i had to pick my jaw up from the floor and it's been like that many times since.

    Also i love the fact that there really are thousands of new animations, and the nice addition of signature sizeups. It would be awesome if you could pick several to be fired up randomly or depending on input, but it's a sweet addition nonetheless. Some of the MyPark exclusive animations look sweet as hell too.

    Obviously there are a lot more modes to try out and 2K needs to get to work on their servers, but in the long run i bet those problems will become distant memories and we'll be able to concentrate on the sheer fun of fantastic gameplay and presentation 2k15 offers. The title oozes understanding and love for the game of basketball, and that's all i expect.    … Expand

    The player’s personalities are unique as they will show emotions depending on the situations of the game. Controls are solid with varied skills such as dunks, layups and fakes being easy to execute. The shooting is easier this year as there is a shooting bar shown under your player which shows you if you released the ball too early or too late and knowing where to shoot with each player will give you the upper hand.

    Playing well as a team is crucial, and this year, being able to effectively control your defender will be the key to winning games. Good spacing is one of the tactics that should be mastered as you need to know how far to be from the opponent. You shouldn’t be too close nor too far but just the right distance to block shots and dribbles; however, it is quite challenging when defending against big physical players as they will most probably score.

    Collisions are realistic and you do feel the impact between the players which adds more depth to the game. The AI is more aggressive and scoring on them won’t be an easy task, they will work together nicely to open up the game to score points. Watching a game feels like a televised match. The player animations, fans, and courts make the games more lively.

    The atmosphere adds to the overall realism which is enjoyable and if you are ahead of a home town team, then the arena will be quiet with some fans leaving the arena near the end of the game. If you are playing at your home town then the fans will erupt when you make a comeback. This feeling is great as it connects you to the game. The music is well chosen and the commentary is very good. The addition of Shaquille O’Neal and Ernie Johnson is welcome as they share nice feedback about the situation of the game during loading time.

    You are now able to scan your face using the camera; however, I tried it a couple of times and the results weren’t satisfying. The menu layout is simpler than before but there is a lot of loading time in between.

    There are different game modes. In my career, you can use your created player or scanned player and begin as an undrafted player with a dream of making it. You begin with a try out game and if the performance is good, then you will earn a 10 game contract. There will be a nice cinematic story with lots of dialogue that is voiced well. Training the skills of your player and taking him from rookie all the way to Hall Of Fame is your main objective.

    My park is a street ball mode that can be played 2 on 2 or 3 on 3. There is more space here between each character which allows you to practice on your techniques; however, the server so far isn’t very good and I faced a lot of lagging.

    In my GM, you will take the responsibility of a General Manager and you will be following up on everything from checking if players are happy, reviewing finances, drafting to releasing team members. Finally, My Team mode is a card game that allows you to auction players and working on your line ups strength by playing games to unlock rewards.

    It is great to see how far the NBA 2K series has evolved and the good thing is that it never lost that magic touch that made it so special. NBA 2K15 is a game that you will spend countless hours of fun on because of its entertaining and detailed gameplay.    … Expand

It's not competitive once your player gets to a certain point and then you never lose another game. I don't know if it is any better on the Xbox One but, really Take 2 should consider using the power of cloud based gaming to improve the AI as it gets very predictable and mostly sucks for this game.

    Do yourself a favor and get the new Madden or maybe MLB 14 if you want a quality sports game because this isn't one for sure!    … Expand

    If you’ve played the other 2K games, you probably know what to expect. Better graphics than its predecessor and some gameplay tweaks. I like the improvements to My Player, but the end-of-season awards and stat-tracking is pretty flawed. I also HATE the menu. Other than that, it’s a good game.

    Second revision of my review of this game. It's a great game. Career mode is the best I've seen in a sports game. The player interactions and presentation are second to none. I don't play online so I can't comment on that, however, that leads to the reason for the mediocre score.

You're the star player here, you cannot rely on your team for ANYTHING. You take over everyone and do their job for them or watch them fail at doing anything on their own.

    It's sad that NBA Jam, NBA Heat and NBA Street Volume 2 are still the best basketball games of all time despite the fact that their players do inhuman levels up jumps. You feel like you're in control and it feels satisfying when you pull off a sick alley oop with an AI teammate.    … Expand

    It has some few negatives (at least my nba2k came with a bugg on the nba 2 draft class), but, in general, is a very nearly perfect NBA simulator. I play a 48 minutes games with my team no my association and the stats at the send seems identical to a real NBA game.

    The game has nice modes like mycareer , with the scenes and stuff , and now is easier to improve your player , mypark is good , but has some network problems , and , during an online match , there's also a lot of lag too , but not all the time . Even though it has some letdowns , this is the best basketball experience out there

    Great new animations and game features make this game a basketball lover's dream. Getting fouled while driving to the hole looks so realistic. The My player mode is improved. Presentation and Graphics are much better than last year. My only wish is that they would have kept the Dream Team from 2k13 and also incorporate being able to play with the WNBA (maybe a separate add on).     I did not give this game a perfect 10 because I do not play online and basketball is my 3rd favorite sport. However, I do love the creativity in the GM MODE! There is so much to do! I truly feel like a GM!

    At it's core this is the most solid basketball simulator that exists, controls are tight and have alot of depth the only issue is that some of the more elite players are op and impossible to defend at times, the inclusion of the shot meter is genius and i always wondered why 2k didnt have something like this before.

    The problem with the game is all of the other features. Create-a-character is significantly worse in this game, you cant equip tattoos and hair options are shockingly disappointing, you can no longer create your own teams, user interface is alot more confusing, Mypark is a neat idea but hardly works with poor servers, you cant use custom rosters in quick game mode and lots of other little disappointing things missing that made 14 much better, the main focus here seems to be My Player mode which has been improved with cinematics, but your character still feels pretty hopeless early on and it can be a frustrating struggle.
    All in all as a pure basketball simulator, it doesnt get better then this, controls are fluid and the game looks great, it's just all of the other ambitions that 2k15 sets out to achieve fall flat, and dissapointing inclusions missing from 14 make it feel worse then its predecessor in some ways.    … Expand

At some points it is very easy to take fouls but sometimes your opponent can do whatever he wants with your players and the refs do not call anything.

    It is great, is the best Basketball game out there, it looks great, sounds great and feels great... as did NBA 2K14, 13, 12, 11...

The attention to detail is better than ever: player faces, commentary, animations, badges. The soundtrack is the best since 2K10.     I am a frequent player of 2k15. My online record is 111-75. I will be the first to say that this game does not feel authentic. I've noticed how they try to make the games stay close and always come down to the wire or instances where your player's I.Q is very minimal.     best 2k game since 2k11.....myteam mode is upgraded, you get cards/myteam points for collecting cards, they have challenges and a domination mode , new challenges added every week and new throwback onyx cards every thursday....it is the best basketball game for next gen systems....a must have for a basketball video gamer

    This was the first game I bought for the PS4 and looks great compared to the PS3 version. Although sadly, I think this is the last sports game I am going to buy due to the lack of effort the developers put in sports game. It's the same thing as 2k14 except for the menu interface and online is a drag. It may take 10-15 minutes just to get put in a match.

    NBA 2K15 is an impressive all-around product. There is a ton of content within, a lot of work has been done to the various modes, and gameplay and presentation remain strong. It's unfortunate then that once again 2K is plagued by server-related issues and with them having created what is largely an "always-online" game it's continued reason for concern.

    Really good game for any basketball fan, MY CAREER and MY GM are awesome, the graphics looks really good, the physics are decent and the regular updates on the players and the teams are more than welcomed.

    This 2k15 is a great game if you play it in "Next-Gen". There are plenty of gamemodes; MyCareer, MyTeam, MyGM... The mode i prefer is MyTeam. Before, I played a lot in MyCareer, but now is all the time the same thing, but if it's your first time you will enjoy it.

    Great offline game. Looks superb and has a huge amount of content. Online playing is worthless and this is not the first time that the online component is broken in this franchise. That's why i can't give it more than a 7.

    Messy, clunky, but real fun mess. The game is not as good as the 2016 edition, but it sets a great foundation towards it. It has several modes, and the be a pro mode is as interactive as ever.

    The gameplay is fluid and surely better than the previous title, though the game still has its notorious exploit and glitches the efforts from 2k to fix them from the previous title are notable.
    The game offers a lot of replayability with 5 game modes, MyGM, MyCareer, Quick Game, MyTeam and a remix of the former Association mode that now has more customizable options.
    MyCareer follows the story of your creatable player and features cutscenes and voice acting from the real players, you can even make dialog choices that will later have an impact on team chemistry and such, it also features as expected a leveling system that is very simple and easy to understand. It´s enjoyable to play this game mode.
    MyTeam is back and still as its major flaws like the inconstant online connection and the over-use of exploits by adversaries. Never the less this game mode is still enjoyable.
    The other game modes weren´t as interesting as the previous ones were, MyGM makes a good attempt at making you a general manager of a team and you have to accomplish the objectives wanted by your boss, the franchise owner.
    Despite it´s notable flaws NBA 2K15 is a great game and is excellent choice for basketball fans, the franchise is notably moving forward and on a nice direction.    … Expand

    As far as sports games go it is Meeeeh. Career mode however is garbage . There is God awe ful voice acting, no reasonable standards for improving your player unless you buy coins,and slow unresponsive controls. Your career player cant do basic functions like pass, dribble, and rebound. Lookout EA a new **** company is on their way to kill sports games and steal gamers money.

    Better than 2k16 and 2k14. Faster loading, fun Twitter and easy endorsement. Everything just designed and played better than 2k16. Only downside is too many loading screens and my park not as many people to play with.

    El juego tiene muy buenos graficos pero ya esta,los crontoles son super enrevesados y liosos,no hay ningun tipo de tutorial o algo para que te explique como se juega ya que es muy importante en este juego.

    When I first played this game nothing was wrong. Then after I played MyLeague the Myplayer mode starts to get messed up. I decided to change from rookie to pro because the Myplayer upgrades were good enough, but the n my teammates won't catch a ball properly, some of them will go backcourt or dribble out of bounds, and worst of all, they will miss a fast break layup. So I changed back to rookie and it had the same results but this time it wasn't just the team screwing up, it was also my player. I had a few fast breaks and I missed the layup. I also froze on defense (I kept moving the joystick to see if my player would move but didn't until we were on offence). Whenever I tried to steal a ball my player's hand would go through the ball, so I tried to steal it so many times until my player would use the damn force to foul the ball handler. Sometimes I would settle for a wide open gumption and miss then the game would say "Bad take charge attempt" Enough with Myplayer, now onto the MyLeague. In MyLeague I play All Star mode because I play as real NBA players and not some dumb player you develop. I don't know if it's the mode of the game but sometimes I block players without touching them and it is called a foul. I played as Kobe one time in MyLeague and I was at the 3pt line and had a perfect release (Green) but it just hit the rim. I really have no idea why it is happening right now.… Expand

    Didn't play the online modes so this rating will be for offline only.

    I liked the gameplay. Simple but enjoyable. The 5v5 games are great and Blacktop too. Shame they removed the 3pt and dunk contest there but it's fine. Pretty good game overall.

    huge graphic jump from 14, mycareer is fun, one of the last good myteam modes without a bunch of microtransactions, and myleague is the same as ever but at least this year it was actually a newer thing

    NBA 2K15 dribbles onto the court with potential, but its performance falls a bit flat. While it offers solid gameplay and notable improvements in certain areas, it fails to deliver at the end of the day.
