    It's an 8 if you don't care about trophies. Base Rise was kind of meh, due to boring end game and the gear/deco slots made it really tough toIt's an 8 if you don't care about trophies. Base Rise was kind of meh, due to boring end game and the gear/deco slots made it really tough to find fun builds. Sunbreak fixed all that. The build variation in this one is probably the best in franchise, in my humble opinion. End game is a lot of fun (albeit grindy like any MH). It is a bit of an easier entry, but as a lance main, it's the best lance moveset I've seen in any MH (as far back as Tri, anyway). Anyway, anyone who's on the fence, or played base Rise and was looking for more should definitely give this a shot. It's really good.

    It's a 5 because there is a trophy to complete the master rank arena quests. These are worse than ever. Terrible builds, can't switch your switch skills, zero lives, and you have 5 minutes of loading screens every time you die. Truly a terrible experience.
    My only other major gripe is that they didn't include a separate platinum trophy for Sunbreak like they did with Iceborne. For something that takes a few hundred hours, we really oughta be rewarded a shiny new plat for our efforts.... :sadface:    … Full Review »
