There's a whole lot of the same here from the previous entry (Phoenix) which is the only thing preventing this game from being a 9/10. The only real change I can find from my playthrough is that synthesis has been upgraded. The upgraded synthesis is great and makes starting out the game on a harder difficulty much more manageable in comparison to the previous entry. As I stated in that review, these games are just a really fun return to basics that can feel refreshing whenever so many others become too cooky. If they just added some more classes, or made moves feel less of the same it could truly be perfect. The mercenaries series as a whole is a must play for any for of Strategy RPGs.…Full Review »
