I like this game, for $12 season pass you get a great movie experience. The art style is like comic book with marvel anime. So if you are up for watching like 5 episodes of Guardian of the Galaxy anime then this is awesome.

Just another average standard telltale series. Nothing very special here but if you like Guardians of the Galaxy then there are some interesting moments.

Juegazo de Telltale, mi favorito hasta la fecha. Toda la historia, y la manera que llevan a los personajes por ella está muy bien pensado, además de contar con una gran banda sonora.

Telltale games takes another critically acclaimed franchise under their wing (Guardians of the Galaxy) bringing us what seems to be the best storytelling in the video game industry. In episode 1 you begin on the guardian's ship and are looking to take down Thanos the galaxies most notorious criminal, you get shot down on a strange planet in the kree district which Thanos has stolen an artifact from. The Guardians continue to pursue Thanos through which seems to be a temple of some sort, from there the Guardians have a very intense battle and end up killing Thanos with a gun that Rocket claims he made. After killing Thanos it was time to celebrate with drinks and social gatherings at a bar, having conversations with your colleagues and just having a good time, waking up from having too much to drink you and your crew are trying to decide what to do with the corpse of Thanos; you have two options of taking it to a collector who will pay you top dollar on Rockets recommendation or take it to the nova corps on Gamora's recommendation. Whatever decision you make Hala will ambush your team and take the artifact you retrieved from Thanos, you then pursue her to her ship with either Drax or Gamora as you get there you will have a confrontation conversation with Hala which ends up getting Star-Lord stabbed and being seriously injured and ends up on the verge of death, but this artifact has some weird powers and his mother somehow brings him back to life even though his mother is dead.

A decent game that isn't too terrible. It is a nice story and it feels much like the movies, but you control the characters. Rocket was a little off, and the villain wasn't very interesting, but the story itself was very compelling.

First impressions of this game were not great to begin with, when revisiting this game after all the episodes were released gave me an enjoyable experience. Choices seemed very irrelevant in hindsight of things in my opinion but it left me with a great story, Telltale managed to study enough source material to bring every character to life from the comics.

This is not a film tie in,

This is not a film tie in, this is a stand alone story derived from the comic books.
Enjoyable but diving in hoping for a film tie in is not the way to go with this.

    Recomendado.

If one day, the creators of this game create a season 2, I hope that inside, we can find a way to bring back the 3 (if we bring back one thanks to the forge of eternity because we choose to activate it) or the 4 dear people of Peter, Gamora, Rocket and Drax to the life that we choose to destroy the Eternity Forge or to activate it in episode 3 of the first: Lylla: Rocket's beloved otter, Kamaria: Drax's daughter, Nebula: Gamora's sister (unless she stays alive if we choose to separate from her in episode 2 or 3 and save her in 5) and Meredith: Peter's mother.

And I also hope that we will see the worm again: Blue, Hungry, “ Obviously A Death Trap ” or Bowie (if we choose to keep it in episode 4 of season 1), Hala (if we choose to activate the Eternity Forge in episode 3 of season 1, if we convince her to surrender and choose to deliver it to the delivered to the Nova Corps or to make it to Bal-Dinn and the Kree in episode 5), Bal-Dinn and the rest of the Kree in addition of Yondu, Mantis and the man or creature that takes hold of Thanos' body at the end of episode 5 of season 1.

It’s got a few issues, mainly the voice overs in the early couple episodes, and a few of the decisions feeling a bit like filler, but this game succeeded in what it set out to do: Be a fun, funny action-filled adventure through space. If you love the comics, films or TV show, this is worth checking out. It’s all the characters you love portrayed very well and you’re in for a blast.
