    Hoobadventure is a 2 and a half hour long side scrolling 2d platformer and its actually kinda good.. Here you play as Marsupilami, you dodge enemies and obstacles, collect fruit for exra lives, and find each levels secrets.. all of which is completely optional, you can just go forward if youd like, though by collecting feathers you    Marsupilami: Hoobadventure

    Hoobadventure is a 2 and a half hour long side scrolling 2d platformer and its actually kinda good..
    Here you play as Marsupilami, you dodge enemies and obstacles, collect fruit for exra lives, and find each levels secrets.. all of which is completely optional, you can just go forward if youd like, though by collecting feathers you do unlock bonus levels, heres its all pretty straightforward, just a straight up platformer, smash boxes, again, dodge obstacles, collect stuff, and the game progressively gets more and more challenging so it isn’t just some mindless kids game, it does get decently hard towards the end, each of the 3 sections finishes with a boss battle, of you racing the stage, trying to get from checkpoint to checkpoint until finally you can take down the boss, gain a gem and unlock the next area… each level also feels unique.. they are by no means spcial.. but I appreciate the ffort put into this game.
    Marsupilami: Hoobadventure wont blow you away, but it will surprise you with just how good it actually is.

    Spaßiger 2D-Plattformer, welcher die Donkey Kong Country-Reihe kopiert, nur viel einfacher daher kommt. Bis auf die letzten beiden Level kam man so gut durchs Spiel. Wem das nicht stört, der hat hier kurzweiligen Spaß, soweit man Jump'n'Runs mag.

    An "easy-playing" platformer with a graphic excellence ! The music is exotic and it really fits to the tropical ambiance. The mix of music and graphics makes you feel you're in the jungle !

    It’s a real shame Marsupilami as a video game protagonist has not been explored any further. As only the second game for the spotted mammal ever since the 1995 Sega Mega Drive title, Hoobadventure delivers a pretty basic platformer that feels like it can’t decide on its target audience. Yet if you are into cute graphics and relaxing music followed by a lot of collecting, there’s plenty to love here.

    While there’s some disparity between Marsupilami – Hoobadventure‘s target audience and its difficulty spikes, there’s no denying that there’s an excellent 2D platformer here, suitable for all ages. For fans of Crash Bandicoot and Rayman, you’ll find a lot to love in this charming and surprisingly beautiful adventure – even if you aren’t familiar with its long-tailed protagonist.

    Marsupilami is a good entertainment, but it struggles to fully transport us to Palombia. Between its too short life span and its levels that all look the same, we expected much more "twists". However, the colorful universe and the gameplay associated with the genre make the game rather well adapted to the whole family.
