    pretty good gameplay. ultimate team was really good this year but with franchise mode was improved upon. everything else is good. l like the new gauntlet gamemode because it reminds me of the mini camp from the old games with and exciting new twist.

    Sad, but true, this is the best post-25 Madden game. It's still AWFUL. Franchise is a joke. There is no superstar mode, In depth stats, or anything that made Madden and EA great. Don't buy, sell.

    Game control and gameplay was fine, but I hated the be a pro mode, it really was something bad. There was basically nothing even remotely great compared to the FIFA be a pro. The game works fine, but needs improvements.

    Gosto de muito de ver as transmissões do "Super bowl", mas havia muita coisa que nao entendia, por confundir com as regras. Com muita pena de alguns amigos meus, prefiro NFL a Rugby, pq gosto do espectaculo, dos equipamentos e da lógica da modalide!! O jogo em si, parece-me bastante agradavel, ensinou-me    Portuguese

    Para 2014 os graficos estavam ok e em termos de jogabilidade eu gosto.
    Não gostei do online, demasiado complicado para se jogar e na carrada de DLC's que tens de ter para conseguires jogar minimamente (EA oblige!).
    Como não sou um verdadeiro critico a minha opniao vale o que vale mas para mim é um 7, pq para quem gosta, vale a pena comprar!!    … Expand

    More Madden. If you are a fan of Madden games and buy them every year, then no need to stop here. Nothing major added and no major upgrades to graphics, the downside of yearly released games.

    I had the ps3 version and the ps4 version and for some reason the ps3 version is better. Obviously the graphics on the ps4 is better, however the mechanics and fluidity of movement is way better on the ps3. I dont know how many times i caught the ball and got tackled short or ran out of bounds because the guy doesnt turn up field after catching it.

    Madden 15 seems to suffer from what all of the other Maddens ahead of it so. It has most of the same content from previous games with minor tweaks and updated rosters. Still very fun to play with friends and family.

    idk who made madden 15 ill never buy something else like dis eva in my life its the worst madden made i love madden i am medden 25 wasnt the best but on ps4 the first madden made really in this is IT!! wow i hope in pray!!!

    I'm a football fan and an energetic gamer, I've played Madden NFL since my beloved 2004- Ray Lewis cover, since that awesome title I've been trying to feel the same hype when it comes to a NFL simulator, but all I have found is a long-lasting disappointment. I ended up buying my second NFL title    (You could easily skip this first paragraph which is only a background for my actual review)
    I'm a football fan and an energetic gamer, I've played Madden NFL since my beloved 2004- Ray Lewis cover, since that awesome title I've been trying to feel the same hype when it comes to a NFL simulator, but all I have found is a long-lasting disappointment. I ended up buying my second NFL title with a new hardware, and it was Madden NFL 07 the one that wasn't that good even though the huge leap in graphics! Still having hopes I tried Madden NFL 10 which didn't liked it either as much as the previous once, that turned me down for at least 5 years, when Madden NFL 15 came out and it's actually the one I'm talking about.

    Madden NFL 15 is a really bad game. When it comes to gameplay, it feels far from realistic. And moreover when you compare it with the actual game and the way it's actually played it's far from realistic. Beginning with the movements and taunts from the players, previous Madden titles where justified to have few dynamic movements coming from the players, but we are facing a technological revolution at the time in which gaming has come to a almost realistic featured games, and such is the case that you can see it even in other EA titles such as Battlefield, FIFA and even Dragon Age. Then what's the matter that Madden doesn't even have cheerleaders? Is it so difficult to add a ton of movements and different taunts, instead of a cyclical of a few poor ones?
    Secondly, controls. The controls at least for the PS4 are ridiculous, for instance the right stick for tackling isn't even helping that much as previous titles, furthermore the evasive buttons do not work either, but that doesn't even matter most as in any Madd titles before they have been helpful. Moreover and the most painful one is the touchpad, by just slipping your finger upwards through the touchpad accidentally it automatically calls a challenge play! That is ridiculous! I've lost a ton of timeouts thanks to that stupid command!
    Another thing that is far from making a difference in Madd titles is the voice presenters. This unrealistic commentators are simply annoying! They just repeat the same things all over again I would just prefer to play on mute mode. And I know I can complain about that because FIFA presenters aren't bad, actually make the gameplay even more realistic, why then Madd titles have such a bad commentator acting?
    Ultimate team is another example of how bad does EA wants Madden to be like FIFA, but also how bad the try. MUT is a pay to win simulator where if you don't invest hours, and I mean literally hundred of them you won't make the top rewards. The worst part is that as a new Madden title will overshadow the previous one in just a year, there is no actual sense of progression and even an intensive to care.
    Finally and I think is the most intriguing thing is the lack of realistic features that make Madden NFL 15 the worst Madd title I have played ever. For instance the worst of all is the fact that when gaining yards after a run or complete pass but thrown back by a tackle your actually start the next down in the longest yardage previously completed, in spanish called "Máximo avance". In the game when being tackled right at the line of conversion and thrown back by the defender you do not make the first down! That is ridiculous!
    Another ridiculous situation is when the opponent team (and the AI actually makes this all the time) punts the football away out of the sideline and for no reason you end up starting back the 20 from your side of the field, this stupid call is far from reality because of the impression of any mean to actually look at the right spot where the ball went out of bounds, in the f* air! OMG you guys at EA actually know the ground rules of football?
    Other example of the lack of realistic situations according to the rules is the constant plays where the referee does not call a pass interference, or even a clear personal foul! All these may be seen as bugs, but after months of release I just realised is that devs don't give a damn on the resemblance with reality.

    I'm seriously disappointed with this title after being a Madd fan for more than 10 years. I just wish developers actually made a good call and start from scratch a new simulator that we NFL dabblers deserve.    … Expand

    Madden 15 is what Madden 25 should have been. This game is nothing special, it uses noticeable aspects from the previous game. The only really new things that are noticeable are:

    I thought Madden was a great addition to the series. Is it perfect, no. But it is definitely a step in the right direction. I have a couple complaints with the stat overlays that added, hardly worked in CFM Player and when they did show up the stats were usually wrong. Presentation(even though they claimed they did alot) still was not that great. And they need to work on the FA inI thought Madden was a great addition to the series. Is it perfect, no.     Despite all of those issues, Madden 15 manages to be a fun game, albeit one that consistently shows flashes of unfulfilled potential and sloppy production values that have carried over since the development of Madden 06 and have never been conquered. A development team with real passion could run it in for a winning touchdown. Sadly, EA Tiburon is not that team; EA Tiburon is a team that chooses to pass middle-field from the 1-yard line and get intercepted each and every season.    … Expand

    The game is so much better than Madden 25 but they didn't really add any new features. The graphics are slightly improved. Gameplay is the same but is still fun! However, PLAYERS CANNOT TURN IN THIS GAME .

    I will preface this review to say I am 32 and have owned every madden from 93 on except madden 25.This review is mainly about online play as who cant beat the cpu on all pro with little difficulty by now?

    Well another year and another Madden. This year like most years has me starting off liking the game a lot but the more games I play the more fault I find with it.     Well another year and another Madden. This year like most years has me starting off liking the game a lot but the more games I play the more fault I find with it. I bought this game at the end of october and it was the sole reason I purchased a ps4 so I basically dropped down 900.00 to play this years madden.

    The Graphics look pretty good next gen I found I was impressed at first but realized I didnt care much about the game looking sharp as I do about it playing sharp. After 500 online ranked matches and being within the top 3.5% on the leaderboard I feel I can accurately depict my feelings for this game in one word;FRUSTRATING. I am frustrated because many of the same bugs that were in the game ranging all the way back from madden 93 are still here. Magnetic tackling is still a problem. Come on EA you cant be bothered to fix a problem that existed way back in the super nintendo days.

    Money plays Still are very much still in the game. No matter how great I am on Defense it doesnt matter when it comes to play action corner routes or a deep bomb. Opponents will constantly spam the same route over and over for over half of their plays. They know you will block most of them but they know no matter how good you play you wont block all of them the game doesnt let you. For instance for years now I find that sometimes when I am pursuing a scrambling qb out of the pocket my defender cant go past a certain point and it just allows the qb right on by for the first or most often times more. Even in a qb contain it doesnt do what you ask it to. After 25 years of Madden there just isnt any excuse EA can give for this disgraceful treatment of its fans. EA needs to bring back fair play. No more stopping opponents on 3 downs only to have them go for it on 4th and 17 or 4th and 13 and make it almost everytime because of the aforementioned money plays. If a football team wouldnt go for it in real life in the given situation then players shouldnt even be allowed because you know they are gonna abuse it. Another issue is punting and kickoffs. A new thing people do is do such a intentionally short punt that the ai doesnt have time to get to field the ball and you dont have time to call fair catch and so the ai lets the ball bounce adding another 35 or 45 yards to the punt. On kickoffs the opponent playing mindgames with the onside or squib picking one of those 2 options and seeing how you are lined up and if it is in the correct formation they will call a timeout and keep everything the same but hope you change formation so they can get the ball back very easily. A lot of times opponents will hold down a key so that in kickoff you cant switch it to onside once you see they went onside.

    Defense. What can I say here EA hasnt got rid of the superlinebacker who is somehow able to bat a pass down that is intended to be to a receiver deep down field. That ball trajectory should be to high for anyone to bat it or intercept it from the linebacker spot. Linebackers shouldnt be able to stop a deep thrown ball in their base area of coverage. Corners controlled by the cpu almost always is somehow able to make a break on the ball even if they arent even aware that the ball is in the air and coming to their receiver they still magically get into position.

    The Screen pass is to much of a money play to the point where almost everyone uses and abuses it. I play fair and dont really use it because of course I could cheat like others but no im not going to I shouldnt have to and EA shouldnt allow this to happen by eliminating the money plays altogether. No matter how much attention I pay to obvious formation lineups and despite knowing what the play is likely to be and almost always ends up being and despite calling it out loud to anyone sitting near me to witness the bs some plays just cant be stopped constantly.

    Anyways, I have used almost all of the characters up I felt I had to write this review even though pretty much everyone who would buy madden has don so due to such a short lifespan for sports titles. If you play honest and want a real challenge friend me on the ps4 and we can play madden. username: smokerjoesteelers and to all of the cheaters who make the game even less fun then it is get a life you are all grown men who have to cheat in a videogame to even be able to compete. It is pathetic that you would pay money to play a game to ruin other peoples play. Until most of these issues are fixed if you have friends who play the best way is in person.

    p.s where the heck is the pass interference penalties? People are bashing receivers and illegal pick glitching interceptions. Until these issues are fixed Madden is done for me. I bought a new system hoping this would make it different and it didnt    … Expand

    Madden has not been good in a very long time but this has to be one of the worst. My biggest problem with madden is the online play. It seems that over the years madden has started taking pity on people who just dont understand football. The game plays more like an arcade football game and honestly feels scripted. They reward people for having their a.i. play for them and it makes defense no fun to play. Also they seem to be trying to dumb madden down by taking the skill out of open field tackling by pressing the cooresponding button over defenders heads to get tackled, that doesnt even make sense. Its really almost impossible to blow people out on madden. Its like the better you are the better your opponents a.i. is which makes it feel like i'm playing against the computer in online games. I hope next years game is better or either they bring college football games back because this is the worst "football" game ever. If you just want to throw streaks and screens and have the a.i. play your D for you than this is the game for you but if you want to strategize and play football then you'll be pretty disappointed.… Expand

I had used Madden 2005 in the past, so I was familiar with the structure, but the Usability Layout, the Inaccuracies in the stats, the continuous insertion ofEA Sports must be run by a bunch of idiots. I had used Madden 2005 in the past, so I was familiar with the structure, but the Usability Layout, the Inaccuracies in the stats, the continuous insertion of interrupting graphic sequences and unnecessary landing pages you pointlessly click through are like pop-ups, the lack of display of the game clock at points, the predictable intent of the CPU opponent to always play at your level. Get better at the game, just gets met with a tougher game. There is too much lack of control over too many elements.     If you have played Madden the last couple of years, you're not missing out on much. The game play is mostly the same with some both improvements and disappointments. One thing that personally annoys me is the soundtrack Madden has put in the last few years, but lets talk about the important things. I've only played this for PS4.

    PROS:
    Some new and improved concepts in Madden 15 are the defensive controls. New animations on the defensive line make it fun running threw the o-line and getting to the QB. There's also a new method for conservative and aggressive tackling. It's a feature I don't use much, but seems to be a plus for the new addition. They have kept and improved the skill drill games and those are always fun to do. They also put some new animations in for tackling and catches which is always welcomed.

    CONS:
    I feel like the cons out weigh the pros in this year's Madden though. One thing they have taken out is the coin toss. The flipping coin toss! Instead, they now have you choose what you would like to do if the coin toss is in your favor and decides it before the game starts. I personally HATE this. That's just one fundamental feature Madden should have. Another one is something Madden has never improved on and that is the feature of challenging plays. Refs will make the wrong call, but the challenge will never reverse the play like it would have in real life. The only way successful challenges are called is automatic and usually only for fumbles. Sometimes it feels as if you cannot direct a user player in certain directions. There has been many times we're on defensive I try to turn up field yet my player will go in another direction. I'm not sure of the cause of this but it is extremely annoying.

    Madden 15 is overall a fun game and fantasy drafts always make for an interesting season in franchise mode. I'm a big fan of the franchise and will probably end up getting next year's no matter what. EA Sports just needs to throw in some basic football fundamentals and Madden would be absolutely awesome. Hopefully they'll do it soon but I'd would recommend everyone to at least try it out.    … Expand

    Don't be fooled; Madden 15 is the BEST Madden put out to date; now that may not say much for individuals who are huge 2K fans and have been displeased with Madden since feeling "shafted" with Madden 06. Defense receives its much needed attention over Madden 25 to where it's actually FUN to play defense and it hasn't been that way since the introduction of the "Hit Stick" in Madden 05. TheDon't be fooled; Madden 15 is the BEST Madden put out to date; now that may not say much for individuals who are huge 2K fans and have been displeased with Madden since feeling "shafted" with Madden 06. Defense receives its much needed attention over Madden 25 to where it's actually FUN to play defense and it hasn't been that way since the introduction of the "Hit Stick" in Madden 05. The game opens with a beautiful immersive experience with Cam Newton as you take over in a "scenario" where the Panthers are taking on the Seahawks in the NFC Championship and you have to guide the Panthers to the win in the final minute. Madden 15 takes another huge step in teaching football concepts with the skills trainer which is huge in teaching the masses how to read defenses, route combinations, passing & running drills. The game teaches how to beat Cover 2, Cover 3, Cover 4, Man which are necessary tools when competing online and reading the complex defenses in the NFL. The legacy issues are still present as they are in all sports games that come out yearly as there are always pressure to put out a new game and sometimes legacy issues are put on the back burner. The negatives about this game are still "player movement" and the physics engine still needs major refining as players still trip (not as much as Madden 25) and fall like they are flimsy as opposed to the gladiator/warriors we see on Thursday, Sunday and Monday. The Franchise Mode or CFM has great additions but it's still not as "immersive" as I would like. No Post Game Show, No Weekly Wrap Up, a bare bones halftime show; all need to be implemented and improved as NFL2K5 is still the king in this arena 9 years later! This game is headed north and should garner an even higher score next year but it still has a ways to go. Game needs realistic implementation of penalties, WR/DB interactions, correct challenges, weather affecting the game; etc. Madden Ultimate Team is this games shining moment as its updated almost weekly and it has great immersion with all the player cards they put out, past and present. Madden has the potential to take down NFL2K5 as the most complete Football game we have ever seen but it's going to take that innovative push for Madden 16 & Madden 17. I would still love to see competition as you always run faster when someone is chasing you but this game is a solid purchase and worthy of the 8 rating its received.… Expand

    I hated this game at first but as I kept playing it and playing it, it got better and better. In order to have fun with this game, you have to know the defensive audibles or else you are f'd.

    Great graphics. I feel they overpowered the defense and changed the CPU QB. Before the QB would throw the ball in a hurry or out of bounds but now i get more sacks and the QB keeps the high percentage. Its still fun to play but I think they should balance the players out more. Also the deep ball only works for the CPU.

    Anyone who says Madden 15 is anything above below average needs to be checked into a loony bin immediately! Either that or all of these positive reviews are just people getting paid by EA Sports to write good reviews about their game. For the past 3-4 years Madden has been garbage! This madden in particular is literally the SAME THING as Madden 25. Want to save money? I give it a 0 because the game play is awful, there is no imagination or creativity towards the Franchise Mode, the players on the field cheer after making a tackle even though their team is losing 35-0 in the 4th quarter, and finally the crowd continues to be non-realistic. How is half the stadium filled with fans without jerseys on? How does not one Pittsburgh Steelers fan NOT have a terrible towel? How is a Jaguars home game sold out every week when their team sucks?     Some of the multiple reasons why madden 15 is one of the greatest of all time is that madden, has upgrade the graphics, and the movement of the players to an outstanding level that will blow your mind. The graphics are outstanding and there are hardly any glitches at all, to ruin your game play. The graphics are very colorful and featuring a whole new type of nature, like showing the city, and its surrounding, and the place you will be playing at. The atmosphere is a whole new one as the coaches are almost similar to the real life ones, and the players equipment are more realistic to the real life ones. Also the new commentators have new lines every game to keep from not getting tired of listening to the same thing every times. Then the fumbling and the interceptions are, much more common compared to the other maddens. First of all if you are a quarterback scrambling, all the time then you are going to fumble the ball,because quarterbacks are not supposed to run. Also the interception rate has increased exceptionally so that it is easier to catch interceptions if you're on defense.

    The ultimate team has a whole aspect of playing it even more than you used to on madden 25. The new players and upgrades of new player provide additional help to you to beat other people and make it to the Superbowl. Since madden 15 is new there are rising stars, and breast cancer awareness cards to get you new players. Also since the movement is so much better you are able to have many options for touchdowns. Also they still have the mode where if someone quits you automatically win the game. Another achievement is that you get better experience points to buy you more pro packs and get more elite players. There is also a cheaper price on more expensive guys like Tom Brady.

    This game can go down the drain. It's an awful game. I have played this for awhile. It's irritating seeing my WR's cannot even catch a football, and gets overpowered plus intercepted. Wtf is this? A complete failure?
    How can you tell other online player's OVR? I pretty much got destroyed (Ex: 14-0, 32-3) Wtf.. This is a complete ripoff.     Every year I keep hoping that they will fix simple issues and improve the AI, but instead all we get are superficial improvements to graphics and camera angles, the usual re-balancing of offense vs defense (with defense being this years golden boy) and well, that's it really.

    The problems with this game are legion and well documented. For example, why do I have to play the ENTIRE game in pre-season in connected career mode? Why doesn't the Game prep screen update after I've completed the weeks hours? Why do I have to use super-sim while my defense is on the field? Can't I watch? Why are defenses on super-sim ridiculously good against the computer? And why doesn't the CPU use any game clock when they have possession in super-sim? Why are wide receivers terrible one on one? It's practically impossible to complete a deep ball. Why do running backs not follow their blockers and lose yards, when they could have easily picked up 3 or 4 by just hitting the hole they were supposed to go? This happens constantly. The AI in this game is terrible. Play calling often makes no sense with regard to circumstances. Players move in odd directions too with no regard to play development...."You only need 3 yards for a first, don't go backwards!!!!". URGH! It just keeps going on and on and on with this crap.

    Clearly I'm insane to keep buying this game. Hopefully this is the last time........I've said that before! Lol    … Expand

Where is the HIT STICK AT??@?@? plz cmon, the truck stick needs to be back, hit stick is sooo bad, cmon its 2014 and EA you elimating the fun things in the game for yrs now, i wanna crush someone n make them fumble. or have my rb truck stick n plow them over. cmon this game is wayy to animted, the graphics are great but the gameplay suffers - it slows the game down. too futuristic,Okay.     The game is a 'small' step forward in the franchise with some new promising features, but it still lacks a solid integrity and center as most of the same issues that have been in past games are still there.     You can’t find a better American football game. Not because there is not another game, but mainly because this one is pretty damn good. It looks great, sounds great, and plays great.

    Madden NFL 15 does justice to one of the most well-known sports both in the USA and all over the world. A huge simulator full of options and playable modes that will take you straight to the Super Bowl in the University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale (Arizona).
