    Since the new publisher announced that Mad Games Tycoon from developer EggCode is coming to console I wanted to buy it for PS4 (and Nintendo Switch which will be released by mid December hopefully). I loved the PC version which I played over 300 hours in total. And just to be clear, the PC version is the best version of the game you can get. The PS4 version is clearing a downgrad port and is coming with some restrictions (like no zooming, number of digit you can use for the naming of your games, studio and engines is limited, no scrolling while creating rooms and/or you grabbed something with your pointer,...). Anyway, the PS4 port is still a great game which I can recommend to all fans of the sim genre, especially if you are not able or not willing to play it on PC.… Expand

    After the initial UI and control issues are negotiated, you are left with an addictive and very deep management sim. Its graphics and sound could certainly be better but the important parts of Mad Games Tycoon function well enough. It becomes enjoyable and rewarding when you have learned how all the systems fit together and how to make successful games. If you are into these management-style games, Mad Games Tycoon does have something to offer. Just be prepared to put in the legwork early on.
